Reaper


Reaper looked at Darius and then giggled for a bit before teleporting behind Darius and then began to walk out of the door as he said while giggling slightly "The void knows, the void sees." Reaper then walked out and then closed the door as he giggled, he then talked into his earpiece "Lock onto my location, execute order 29" Reaper's companion then hopped out from the truck, the truck's armor then reactivating as the bot jumped out and then began to climb the wall up the window of the room, Reaper walked out of the building and then got into the truck, it's armor deactivating while Reaper got in, to reactivate afterwards, as reaper drove off the bot smashed through the window and launched a low yield grenade into the room, before shielding itself.

Croan had watched the whole exchange with feigned indifference, her gun raised in case the Void Runner decided to attack the other man. She flinched as the man somehow managed to exploit her name to the other Nameless member before relaxing slightly as the Void Runner was seemingly convinced of her absence in the house. She watched wearily as the Runner exited before walking towards Darius, a grateful smile spreading across her face. "I suppose I should be grateful that yo---" Croan paused at the sudden silence, her brow furrowing in confusion and practically tackled Darius as an object came sailing through the window, glass raining down upon the floor and a sudden light filling the room.

"You ready lads?" Connor asked, face covered with a simple bandana. The rest of his crew were dressed like him. Dark pants, shoes, jacket, hat, and simple bandana. They were running out of money. They owed some weapons trafficker some money, money they did not have. A lot of money they did not have. So, they decided the best plan would be to go in, and get some cash. But, more importantly, some of the gold that was on the lower levels of the bank. The subterranean levels. He had driven up with three other crew members in his armored muscle car. The rest were in a supped up van, with suspension that can take the weight of a large amount of gold, lots of armor, and men with military grade armor inside. This was all or nothing. And Connor was planning on taking it all. Toby was in his customary position on Connor's shoulder.

Darius nodded "No proble-" Before he could finish his sentence he was tackled to the ground as he noticed the small objected tumble across the floor and then explode. Darius looked up at Croan and smiled slightly "Thanks" He said to her before gently pushing her off him, standing up and then shaking his head to get rid of the low ringing that seemed to subside in his ears. Looking at the shattered glass then at the table he shook his head "Remind me to kill that fuck next time I see him" He stated before walking over and staring out the window at the flashing of sirens in the distance and the low whirring as they neared the area of the explosion "Hide the gun" He stated as he rushed upstairs to secure the gun vault.

Croan grimaced at the familiar sound of sirens, rising to her feet before glancing around the area for a place to dispose of the gun. Floorboards. She wondered if Darius would mind before tapping a foot on the hollow area of the ground and leaning down, she pried the floorboard from the ground before setting it aside and placing the gun in the center. She replaced it strategically before standing once more, they would certainly have to explain this and she would have to produce a sound alibi as well as a convincing back story to the explosion. Tedious.

Darius returned from the gun safe without any weapons and almost as though he read Croan's mind he spoke "The cops won't ask many questions... Mainly why your here in my house to which you will answer with that we are friends and your here to hang out" Darius was now heading to the door as the first 2 police cars rolled up and 2 officers stood out of the car, opening the door Darius walked to the cops and put his best shocked expression on "Officers ! Officers !" He called as they approached him "Someone came and threw a grenade through the window !" He continued as one officer calmed him and the other ran inside. Drawing his pistol and aiming it at Croan the officer approached quickly "ON YOUR KNEES !" He yelled before placing the pistol to her head.

Croan reveled in the events that had occurred in such a short amount of time, dropping to her knees obediently as a uniformed officer ran inside with his gun drawn. She had lost count at how many times a gun had been pulled on her and was honestly tired of the circumstances. "I can assure you that I've done nothing wrong! Someone threw a grenade into the window while I was with my friend." She inserted as much fear and desperation into her words as she could muster, eyes widening in feigned innocence.

Darius was led back inside where he noticed the officer arresting Coan "Hey, let her go !" He called to the officer who now looked up from fiddling with his cuffs "You know her ?" The officer asked in a curious tone "Yes ! Now let her go !" He continued while the officer slowly stepped back "Sorry miss... " He stuttered, now realizing that he had almost shot an 'inoccent' civilian.

Reaper drove off to the Void Runner HQ, as he was driving he noticed his companion had gotten back and inside the truck, reaper arrived at a empty warehouse and drove inside, he bagsn to press buttons on his monitor in the truck and then used a retinal scan, an elevator opened up as reaper drove inside and then the elvator closed, lowering him into the Void Runner HQ garage, reaper parked his truck and then got out heading inside the building, he got into and elevator and drove down to the deepest floor in the building, reaper then walked into his office and sat down as he took of his helmet and brushed his hand through his hair, he then pressed some buttons on his computer as he began to make a bounty on Darius, but he didn't send it yet.

Croan smiled coldly, sliding her hands across her middle before stepping towards Darius. "Patran, it is quite alright, I assume you were only doing your job and I would hope that me and my friend could continue on with our night." She gestured towards Darius, inwardly dying of laughter.

Darius looked at the cops who waved them away quietly "You can both go" The first officer said while the second officer whispered to his companion "Reckon they're dating ?" He remarked before the first officer went to punch his partner. Darius made his way to his bike "Gonna follow me or leave ?" He asked as he stood near his bike while looking at Croan's bike.

Croan rolled her eyes in barely concealed amusement, perching upon her bike before starting the engine and grinning at the thunderous rumble which emanated from it before sliding into a quiet murmur. "I'm going to follow you of course, I need answers and I'm not sure what your ulterior motives are but you didn't kill me so..thank you."

Darius smiled and shook his head as he took a seat on his bike and started it up "Follow me then... I know a place" He said before his bike sped off down the street.

Croan tailed Darius, keeping a safe distance between the two if he decided to veer left or right. It was ironic considering the status of the two gangs that he had had no motive to place a bullet in her temple but she would certainly take what she could get. She considered the Void Runner and his statement concerning her, wondering how the man had been able to find her let alone place any criminal act in her name. She had been careful, she had made sure and this man had seemingly cast aside all of her precautions which unnerved her. She felt more concerned for him knowing the location of Darius's house and couldn't help but feel guilty at somehow leading the Runner there.

Reaper thought for a moment and then giggled, he stood up and walked to a storage unit and took few mines and trip mines, he then put on his helmet and giggled as he said "I need some better armor, But I will get to that later." Reaper than stood up and got into the elevator and then pressed the garage button as he rode up to the garage, he then stepped out of the elevator and then got into his truck, he then drove into the car elevator and rode up to the surface, he drove off as the elevator closed and sealed itself, Reaper decided to drive to the house using a different way, he soon reached his destination and was in an alley as he saw Darius and a woman drive off. Reaper got out and then put the vehicle on armored mode, Reaper then climbed up the building and into the apartment through the broken window, he didn't want to leave trace of opening the door, Reaper then began to set up the place, placing heavy explosives with a trip wire at the door, he then placed some more proximity mines in hidden locations and carefully carved out a hole in the wood and then placed a mine in it, laying a carpet over it, Reaper then set up more trip mines at the windows except the broken one, when Reaper began to climb out he held onto the frame and then set up a trip mine there too, Reaper then hopped off onto the truck and then got into it as he drove off.

Darius swerved inbetween each cars as though they were nothing more than a mere obstacle in their way, he could tell that Croan was following him close behind due to the fact that his bike barely made a sound when it was riden where as Croan's was screaming along behind him. Swerving off through some construction barriers and down a ramp that led to the highway Darius began heading down the large expanse of empty road, now having the whole road to himself Darius began to relax at the fact that the only person that could cause an accident was if police noticed their 2 bikes which was highly unliking and if the Void runner showed up again.
