A deal with the devil, A day class decision

Minori was relived to hear that Yui was alright. "that's good" she said before looking up at the person approaching them. She shrunk back in her chair remembering what had happened earlier. She was finally able to see who had taken her. Hearing that he was Senri's father was not surpising seeing as they looked almost identical. "What do you want?" She asked mustering up her courage and glaring at him.


Rido eyes shot daggers at Yui as she spit in his direction. "Look Sweetie I suggest you play nice because you're not going to like it if I get angry" he hissed as he appeared infront of her grabbing her chin and forcing her face up as he leaned down. In another instant he had let her go and he was standing between the girls again. "Look, I have something I want you two to do for me. You see it seems my son and nephew have taking a liking to you..." He said pacing around their chairs going behind Minori and trailing a sharp finger along her neck making her flinch away. "The sad thing is they don't like me very much.." He said mocking a sad face" And I have a feeling they are plotting against me, which is where you two come in" He continued with a smile he was now circling around Yui. "What I need you two to do is get close to them, find out what their planning, their secrets and tell me" He said picking up a stand of Yui's hair and letting it slip from his fingers.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

"Gee, I can't imagine why anyone would hate you." Yui retorted. "Maybe you should try, I don't know...not tying them up!" She could feel her claustrophobia kicking in again as the vampire circled them. "Tell me where we are and I'll consider helping you." She spat at him again. She could still feel his nail in her chin, though it wasn't there. "You will be sorry if I decide to tell someone about this. Your son won't like this at all." She growled at him, trying to sound tough, though she was scared out of her mind. "Don't touch us! If Senri's your son, I can see why he decided to go to Cross Academy and leave your ass. You probably never had a woman other than his mother anyway!" She was shaking like mad!

Minori gritted her teeth together at the feeling of his finger trailing across her neck. It made her skin crawl and she wished she could kick him in the face. "What make you think we will would ever do anything to help you" She hissed as he explained his little offer to them. She would never do anything to help that pshyco.


Rido tssked standing up straight and stared down at the blonde one. "I don't care if you like me. I just need you to do what I want. Don't worry about where you are all you need to know is we are some where far far away where no one with hear you scream" He said with a low chuckle. His patience was running very thin with them and he was close to loosing his temper. His attention shifted to Minori as she spoke "Oh but you will do you want too, wanna know why?" he said his head over her shoulder "Because if you don't I'll suck you both dry along with everyone you love.." He said his fangs grazing her skin makeing her begin to shake. What does he mean suck us dry oh god is he..... are they all.. Minori's mind was racing it was hard for her to comprehend the situation.


Rido smiled at the fear he had inflicted in the girl and pulled away "Don't worry if you cooperate I promise you both with be fine" He lied. He had no intention of letting them go he was going to use them to get information from Kaname and Senri until he had what he wanted then he was going to drink every last drop of blood from their bodies and leave them for his son and nephew to find right before he killed them too. Maybe he would even do it front of them he hadn't decided yet. "You aren't going to tell anyone" he said going behind Yui grabbing her by the neck "Because if you do I'll rip your pretty little throat out" He growled hoping he got his point across.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Yui couldn't move as she was grabbed. She started shaking. "N-No...Please!" She begged him. "J-Just tell m-me what y-you are gonna d-do when th-they are tur-ned over." She felt hot tears stream down her cheeks. "Minori, I'm sorry." She wasn't going to fight anymore. Oh, how she wished she had her rosary on her right now! "Please...y-you're h-hurting m-me." She tried to get away from Rido. "Please, stop." She looked at the younger vampire for help, but he couldn't watch this. "I'll...d-do anything!" Yui's shaking was noticeable now. "J-Just let g-go and I'll d-do it." She saw no point in fighting as she gasped for breath, working her hand over to take Minori's.

Minori was so affraid she could hardly speak. "Don't touch her!" She screamed at Rido as he grabbed Yui by the neck. It was a pathetic attempt but she couldn't do anything else she was tied to a chair in the middle of know where with a crazy person she was begining to realize was a vampire and if she didn't do what he said they were both going to die. " W-wwell do it just don't hurt us please!" Minori cried. She tired to take Yui's hand but the ropes cut into her wrist so much it was too painful.


Rido let Yui go and backed away and evil laught errupting from his lips. "Don't worry I'm only going to kill them" He said still laughing. "I'm glad we could come to an agreement. Just remember I'll always be watching and if either of you says anything to anyone I'll know, and I won't hesitate to drink all the blood you've got out of your bodies. I mean you both smell so delicious I just wouldn't be able to resist" he warned with a smirk. "Okay I think they've had enough lets take them back. You can take the blonde seeing as you seem quite fond of her but make sure you knock her out first this time." he called over his shoulder to the young vampire anouncing his fun was over he had gotten what he wanted and it was time to stop.


Minori's eyes went wide with shock as Rido announced he would be using them in order to kill Kaname. She couldn't do that, she wasn't going to lead him to his death, but she couldn't tell Rido no either. She didn't know what to do but she wanted to go back now. She only shook trying to hold in sobs as rido came up behind her knocking her unconcious again.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

The younger one, who I'll call Imari, took one look at both girls from his seat by the window and shrugged. "Whatever." Imari answered with a shake of his sandy blonde hair. "I never said I was fond of her, she just seems more fun to toy with." Imari was beside his master, behind the girls on Rido's left side. "Alright, time to take a nice little nap, sweetheart." He scratched her neck, but Yui didn't have enough time to shy away before Imari's hand was over her eyes and she was knocked out. "You put words into my mouth that aren't necessary, m'Lord." Imari laughed and smiled at the blue haired girl. "Believe me when I say that I'll be the first to taste your sweet blood you betray Lord Rido." He licked her cheek. "I can already taste it." He took Yui in his arms, surprisingly gently. "It's time for a family reunion." He took off at top speed.

Minori woke up in her room rubbing her eyes. She looked around confused for a moment Had it all been a dream She wondered before her eyes landed on the white rose covered in thorns laying at the foot of her bed and one at the foot of Yui's too. Rido must have left it there to remind them. Minori wished more than anything that it was just a bad dream but that seemed unlikely. She got out of her bed and ran to Yui's. "Yui are you okay?" She asked worried. Her mind went back to what Rido had made them agree to . I can't do it She thought, she decided she would just have to avoid Kaname if she didn't see or talk to him she wouldn't be able to cause him any harm.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Yui wanted to think the same. "Y-Yeah." She yawned as she sat up. "I'm fine. You?" Her immediate reaction was to check her neck for marks. She felt none. But, someone's lips were near me last night. On my face! She touched her mouth, forehead, anything, but there was nothing wrong. "He never told us where to find him once we have the boys. He didn't even tell us how to contact him." Yui muttered, picking up her own beautiful rose and fingering the petals. "What do we do?" Her head was in her hands now. "He's got us. We have to tell Headmaster Cross." She sobbed into her hands. When she was done, she stood and closed the still open window. "Rido didn't leave a note, did he?" She searched around the window and on the beds for some note of information. "It'll be difficult to contact him without information." She immediately put on the rosary again. "What do we do? Tell the headmaster?"

 

[Captainsassypants]

"I'm fine" Minori said but there were rope marks on her wrist and they were all red and bruised and burned. " He didn't have to. Don't you remember he said he's watching us, He'll know when we have them or have somthing to tell him." She said and grabbed her rose angrily a thorn picking her finger as she did. She threw it in the trash, frustrated with the sitiuation she had been put in. Her head snapped up at hearing Yui suggest they tell the headmaster. "NO! we can't tell anyone he'll kill us if we do" She said frantically "We're just going to have to stay away from them okay can you do that?" She said grabbing Yui. "You can't talk to Senri not at all you'll only endanger him, and I can't talk to Kaname..." She said trailing off "Now get dressed we have to go to class" She said letting Yui go and walking over to the closet getting her's and Yui's uniform out. "Here" She said handing Yui her clothes before she began getting dressed.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Yui was startled by Minori's reaction. "Woah, calm down. It was only a suggestion." She rubbed her now raw shoulders. "It was just a suggestion." She repeated as she got dressed as well. "And, I understand that we can't be near them, but, it'll be hard for me to do that. Senri and Kaname really like us and they even offered us jobs as Guardians." She walked to the window and stared out at the campus grounds. "I'm sorry, Senri." She cried and let it fall down her cheek. "I love you." She turned back to Minori. "We'll go to class, but we have to tell them that we can't be Guardians." Yui walked toward class as she buttoned her shirt.

Minori felt bad for snapping she was just under a lot of stree. "I'm sorry Yui... I know you just need to be careful and think before you do things ok?" She said pulling on her jacket. At least the sleeves of her shirt and jacket covered the bruises around her wrist so no one would see. "I know they like us and you really like Senri but that only adds more reason for us to stay away." She said looking over at the girl feeling bad. She knew it would be hard on Yui, it was just as hard for her she was just trying to stay strong and get through it. She didn't want to be responsible for anything bad happening to Kaname and as much as it hurt her she was going to keep her distance to protect him. Minori walked out of the room after Yui staightening out her skirt and shirt as she did. " We'll tell them we can't be on the disciplinary committee right away. Then we can never talk to them again ok? Promise me" She said sternly looking at Yui

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Yui nodded in agreement, though she was very disappointed with not being able to see Senri for a while. "I hate this." She told her friend as she went to class. Hopefully, with the rosary, Rido wouldn't be able to touch her. "Please, let's just get through today and hopefully Rido will give up on trying to get us to talk to the boys." She sighed. "He can't hurt us if we don't see them all day." Her lightbulb went off. "That's it! We just won't see them, we can't get hurt if we don't see them." She had her epiphany. "I'm a genius!" She rushed to class with a high pitched laugh.

 

[Captainsassypants]

"I hate it too" Minori sighed. She was feeling pretty defeated "Yeah maybe he'll leave us alone but I don't think he'll give up on trying to hurt them." She said that was the worst part of it all even if she could avoid doing Rido's dirty work there was nothing she could do to help Kaname. The girl looked over confused at her friend as Yui got all excited. "Yeah that's what I just said I don't know why you're getting all worked up about it. Wait what are you talking about" Minori yelled as the girl ran off to class. After Yui had dissapeared from her sight she just shook her head and sighed shuffling into class a few minutes later.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Yui hadn't thought about what Minori had said. Now, she was only sitting at her desk, looking defeated and bored. "Does he really see us right now?" She asked herself in a whisper as she looked around the classroom. "No, that's impossible. He can't get on school grounds without being seen." She relaxed, until she thought of his apprentice. "They don't know the kid, do they?" She thought of Imari. "Maybe he's spying for Rido."


Indeed, Imari was spying for his master, communicating through his mind to pass information to Rido, posing as a student. "Master, our girls have everything going according to plan. The blue haired one is going to be a struggle, but the blonde is getting along with the plan famously." He grinned. "Just tell me when to intervene."

 

[Captainsassypants]

Minori walked into class and sat down next you Yui. She couldn't figure out what the girl was thinking she just hoped she would listen to her and do what she had told her to do. If Yui didn't stay away from Senri it was only going to get them both hurt and Kaname too. It was hard for Minori to focus on the teachers lecture not with so many things on her mind. She was anxious to get out of class and talk to Kaname. When the classes changed she was going to tell him she couldn't be a guardian. She just hoped she could do it without losing her cool this was terribly hard for her she was just keeping it inside. She had to keep Yui together she couldn't start crying too even if it was hard not to.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Yui gave up on listening to the stupid lecture. She had to tell Senri that he was in danger, but she felt that she was being watched on more than one occasion. "Okay, so, we tell them that we can't accept, then we leave, right?" She asked as she got up waited on her friend. "We can't do anything else?" She blushed with a smile. "I know you've been wanting a kiss from Kaname, Minori." Yui teased when the bell rang for the end of class. "Come on, just this once then we're free. We could try and leave Cross Academy. We could go to my family's beach house and stay there until we figure something out." Yui suggested in a whisper, the feeling of being watched didn't go anywhere.

 

[Captainsassypants]

Minori stood as class ended she was nervous about talking to Kaname her stomach was doing flips she felt like she might be sick. " Yes just talk to Senri ,tell him you're sorry but you can't take the position and you won't be able to see him anymore." Minori said slowly going over the plan once more with the girl. She had a feeling that Yui had no interest in sticking to the plan but she was trying her hardest to convince her. "I mean I guess you can get one last hug or kiss or whatever but it's only going to make things harder..." She said sadly and shook her head as the girl tried teasing her. " It doesn't matter now." She said walking out of the room linking her arm with yui's leading her out of the school room an towards the gate to the moon dorm. She looked as Yui as she whispered a new plan " I don't know Yui.. What if he follows us and what could we possible figure out? What if he kills Senri and Kaname before we can figure anything out"

Senri was sprawled out on the couch in the lobby of the moon dorm. "Almost time for the switch" he said looking at the clock. This was one of the first times he had ever looked forward to going to class because he knew he'd have the chance to talk to Yui again. I wonder if she's waiting for me the thought made him smile. It felt like the time went by so slowly and the moment of the switch just could not come soon enough. He got off the couch and paced in front of the door. He was just waiting for Kaname to say the word.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Yui thought about that. "Oh, I didn't really think this through." She let a couple tears fall. "I care about Kaname and Shiki and I don't want them to get hurt." She started bawling by the time they reached the gate. "We're here. We're here and we will never see them again!" "Okay, Lord Rido." The kid smiled. "Here we go."


Lord Kaname woke as well. "I do hope Minori is waiting. I want to see her before class. She is supposed to be the new Guardian." He ordered the line up at once. "And, Senri, I'm certain Yui wants to see you as well." Rima growled at this, but was eyed by the President as the doors opened. Kaname stayed in the back to make sure that everything went according to plan.

 

[Captainsassypants]

Moniro gave Yui a sympathetic look "I know Yui I don't want them to get hurt either that's why we have to do this" She said and hugged her friend as they reached the gate. "Come on, don't cry you don't want Senri to see you like that. It'll be okay" Minori said pulling away to look at her. "Look there is Senri now, go say good bye. Take as long as you want, just stick to the plan and meet me here afterward I'm going to talk to Kaname" She said as the Night class finally began to file out. She sucked in a deep breath putting on a brave face as she walked towards the doors waiting for Lord Kaname. Oh god I'm going to be sick She though her stomach doing flips.

Senri was relived when the door finally opened taking his place in line. He nodded with a smile hearing Kaname's comment about Yui waiting for him. As he walked out the door he looked around instantly finding Yui in only a few seconds. Something seemed wrong though she looked sad. He walked over to her with a concerned look on his face. "Yui, what's wrong why do you look so sad?" He asked pulling her into his chest and looking down at her. Had somthing happened? Did he do something wrong? Whatever it was he wanted to fix it right away

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Kaname searched for his Minori at once. He hadn't seen her in a few hours. "Ah, there she is." Kaname held out his arms to the young woman. "You look startled. Didn't you sleep well last night?" Kaname stroked her cheek. "Come here, you." He pulled her in without waiting for an answer, kissing her head. "God, you're freezing."


Yui trembled under Shiki's gaze. It hadn't occured to her how much her friend looked like his father. "It's nothing, just a nightmare." She tried to be as truthful as possible without lying. She truly was living a nightmare right now. Standing on her toes, she attempted a kiss. "Listen, I can't- we can't take the Guardian job."

 

[Captainsassypants]

Minori froze up at seeing Kaname "I-- Lord Kaname..I need to speak with you" She said trying not to look at him. She was afraid if she looked at him her eyes would betray her and she would lose it. For a second she relaxed into his touch her eyes closing trying to remember it. No stop you can't get sucked in. She told herself sternly. "Kaname, I'm sorry but Yui and I can't be on the disciplinary commitee" She said quickly. Her chest hurt it was like she had been stabbed and someone kept shoving the knife in deeper. He was so sweet to her and he was in danger but she couldn't save him and she couldn't stay with him either. "I'm sorry" She barely whispered into his chest as she hid her face.

Senri softened stroking her hair gently "Oh is that it?" He asked "I'm sorry is there anything I can do to make it better? It looks like it has really upset you" He said noticing her puffy eyes. Had she been crying? He smiled when she got on her toes and he instantly tangled his hand in her hair pulled her face to his to kiss her. His face fell when she spoke again "What? Why? Don't you want to see me?" He asked pulling away from her slightly to look at her face. His eyes clearly showed the hurt he felt.

 

[Saiyan Princess]

"You need to speak to me?" Kaname stroked her hair, then her cheek. "You don't need to worry about anything as long as I'm with you." He finally moved her hair from her face and kissed her. "Minori, don't push me away." He couldn't let her go as he pressed her head into his chest. "Why can't you take the job, hon?"


Yui could not help but cry. "I wish I could tell you! I wish I could tell you everything!" She gripped his jacket with all she had. "Please, just know that I love you with all my heart." She choked. "Please, don't make this harder than it has to be." She kissed him one last time. "I'm sorry."

 

[Captainsassypants]

Minori looked up at Kaname finally, kissing him. Tears were starting to fall from her eyes now she couldn't hold them back. She shook her head and started to pull away from him. "That's the thing is..I don't think... I don't think that we should see each other anymore" she had to force the words out, tears now pouring out of her eyes. "We barely know each other anyway I just don't think it's a good idea for us to be together." She lied. This was not what she wanted they had just met but she wanted the chance to get to know him but that was taken from her.

Senri frowned and wiped her tears away with a thumb. "Why are you crying? what is it? why can't you tell me? You can tell me anything" He said confused he didn't understand what was happening. What had happened in the few hour between the last time he saw her and now? "Yui what are you talking about. Stop" He pleaded pulling her closer and kissing her. "Yui please don't go anywhere. Take the guardian position I want to keep seeing you"

 

[Saiyan Princess]

Kaname was bewildered. "What are you saying?" He stroked her cheek. The Pureblood couldn't understand. "Of course we can see each other. It's not illegal. You know the truth about me." He lifted her chin and got down on one knee, holding her shoulders. "Minori, you know that you can trust me with your life, let alone a secret. Please, allow me to take the burden from your shoulders and onto mine. I'll gladly take it." He kissed her hand. "Please, I love you."


Yui made noises similar to a newborn infant. She couldn't take being so close to Senri one day, then having him ripped from her grasp the next. She tried to obey him. "Just, please promise me that you and Kaname will stay safe. Look after each other." She pleaded with him as she turned and ran away.

 

[Captainsassypants]

Minori was crying she couldn't breathe throught her sobs. "I can't tell you. Please believe me If I could I would. I'm trying to help you" She cried. This was too hard for her it was tearing her apart. She winced when he grabbed her hand the fabric of her shirt rubbing against her sore wrist. She choked on her sobs as she tried to get her words out "I'm sorry Kaname.."

Senri felt like he had been hit with a ton of bricks it was a feeling he hadn't felt before. "Yui! wait!" He yelled as she ran off. He ran after her quickly catching up. "Just stop I don't care what it is okay? you don't have to tell me. Just don't run away from me please. Nothing will happen to me or Kaname I don't know what you're talking about but I promise you we will be okay." He said stopping her he wasn't going to just let her get away so easily.
