A deal with the devil, A day class decision

Kaname gave them a nod and a kind, gentle smile. "I don't understand, Senri, how you and Kaname are so friendly and well, others in your family aren't." Yui sighed. "When he finds that we aren't at the school, he may torture the others for information." That thought scared her. "I wouldn't worry about Rido getting to the school, sweetheart." It was Mrs. Aido. "There are hunters protecting Cross Academy."" That's what I'm worried about. He got through that protection once, he can do it again, ma'am." Yui explained. "I wouldn't be the way I am right now if that protection worked."

Only a little while after that did Minori begin to stir making little sounds as she shook he head. "Stop it! get off of me....please it hurts" She murmured in her sleep clearly distressed. it seemed that every time she closed her eyes rido was there to put horrible images in her mind it was beginning to drive her crazy she wasn't sure how much more she could take.


Senri only shrugged at Yui's comment about how much diffrent he and Kaname were from some of their other family members. "Yeah you don't inherit peoples personalities, just because we're related to some messed up people doesn't mean we have to act like them" He said running a hand through his hair. hearing Mrs. Aido's comment and then how upset Yui became he gave the woman an apologetic look "thank you for your comfort but these are just trying times and we're all a little on edge" he explained "I'm sure Rido wont have to go through the trouble of tourturing anyone it wont be hard for him to figure out where we are" he said even though he knew it wouldn't make her feel any better.

Kaname lightly shook Minori. "Wake up, love." He murmured. "You're alright. Wake up. It's me. We're at the Aido villa. You're alright." He moved hair from her face, cradling her like a baby. "Come on. Wake up." He sat her up straighter. "Focus on me and nothing else." He kissed her forehead.


Yui sniffled. "I hate this. I hate this so much." She rubbed her temples. "Every one of them is in danger. No one is safe." She started pacing. "I hate this. We're all in trouble and Headmaster Cross is going to be the first one to die."

Feeling the shaking and hearing Kaname's voice Minori came to, her eyes showing fear as they opened and she shrank away. "Kaname" She breathed relaxing when she realized it was him and not Rido trying to hurt her. She moved her arms around around his neck sighing in relief. "He wont leave me alone. I can't even sleep without him giving me nightmares" She said closing her eyes for a moment then opening them again.


"Yui you have to get a hold of yourself. You're going to make yourself sick if you keep worrying like this" Senri said giving her a worried look. "It will all be taken care of I promise you needn't worry." he said and lead her to her room. "You haven't been sleeping you need to rest, that's why you're getting all worked up. You'll feel better after you rest" He said

 

[Saiyan Princess]

"Poor thing." Kaname whispered. "We will stop this. I promise. Luckily, he has no idea that I have brought you here." He kissed her hair. "You have nothing to fear. I would die before I let that bastard harm you."


"But, I can't sleep knowing that he's hurting Minori this badly." She held him with her newly found strength, her claws digging into him. "You have to stop him before I lose what little humanity I have left."

Minori frowned "Please don't treat me like a child" She said with a small sigh. She was afraid of what was happening to her and she was afraid of what Rido would do to them she coudn't stand the tough of Kaname getting hurt. "But what if her hurts you?" She asked looking up at him. "I just can stand this. I can't stand what he's doing to us. I just wish we could be like a normal couple and do normal couple things.."


"Hush, Kaname is more than capable of taking care of Minori" He assured her his face showing slight surprise when she grabbed him so roughly. He hated what Rido was doing to her. "We are doing all we can to stop him but you are only going to make it worse if you don't rest" he said

"I am treating you as a concerned partner." Kaname shook his head. "Please, stop fighting me, dear Minori." He pleaded, his lips to her neck, though he wasn't going to bite her right now. "Believe me. He's never made my life easy. He wouldn't let me rest after I died. He used his nephew's body to resurrect me, thus killing the boy." He growled. "But, at least one thing came out of my resurrection." He brought his lips to her ear. "I have you now."


"You aren't my father. Don't tell me to hush." She put the picture of her family under the pillow, waiting for the nightmares. "Still, thank you." She put her face into it. "For putting up with me." Remembering what they had done not long ago, she blushed. She belonged to him now.

"I'm not fighting you" Minori almost whispered her eyes closing as his lips touched her neck. She tilted her to the side slightly, giving him more room. Hearing him growl her eyes opened in surprised. One of her hands moved from his neck to cup his cheek and calm him. She didn't like how easily he became angry when they talked about Rido. "That's right, you have me. Please don't be angry, it scares me" She admitted


"I'm not trying to be your father. I'm just trying to calm you" Senri defended. He stroked her hair absentmindedly as she settled into bed. "There's no need to thank me, I'm not doing anything special" He said softly hoping that maybe she would finally be able to get some rest. "I'm not putting up with you, there's nothing to put up with. I'm simply being with you and taking care of you, and I liked doing it. Please don't make it sound like I have to endure horrible treatment by being with you."

 

[Saiyan Princess]

"Do not fear me, dear." Kaname whispered in his smooth voice. "I would never lay a hand on you." Kissing her neck, just once, his lips parted to reveal his pearly fangs, but he would not bite her still. "Rest. Trust me, you must rest." He sighed. "I feel my own power growing stronger, but, even so, I cannot help someone that cannot help themselves." He touched the strands of hair in her face. "He's becoming bold. He and Shiki both. Rules were set in place here, Minori." He got up and brought the blanket up to her chin, kissed her forehead and walked over to the fireplace. "He'll be here soon."


"Yes, sir." Yui grinned at her lover. "You aren't looking well. Is everything alright?" She touched his cheek, seeing someone that she had never seen before. A beautiful woman, with dark hair and a strange look in her eyes. It frightened Yui and she removed her hand quickly, turned over and tried to get to sleep. "I'm sorry."

"I know, you're just scary when your'e angry" She said relaxing hearing his voice become smoother. Every time his lips touched her neck her breathing would hitch as she wondered if he would bite but he never did. "I've already rested, I'm tired of resting. I only have nightmares I'd rather stay up with you" She said sitting up a frown on her face as he walked away. She reached out trying to stop him but he moved too quickly. "What rules? What are we going to do if he comes here?" She asked concerned.


Senri didn't say anything but only grinned back his hands still tangled in her hair. He was about to answer her but seeing the look she go when she touched his cheek he stopped looking at her confused and concerned. "Yui, are you okay? Please don't turn away from me. What's wrong?' He asked leaning down his lips close to her ear as a hand went to rest on her shoulder.

"That issue shall be addressed when we need to." Kaname answered with a small smile. "However, I will use people and vampires to my advantage by any means if I have to in order to protect those I love. They are my pawns and nothing will ever change that." He brought his gaze away from the flames. "If only you knew what he's done to my family."


Yui sniffled as she turned back over and obeyed him by answering his question. "He's killed so many innocent lives. I just know he'll do much worse to you." With that, she took her blankets and threw them over her head like a child hiding from the monster under her bed. "Please, don't do anything that will jeopardize your future. "
