A cruel conflict, (savvy&Lexie)

Help then get over it as well but as far as I remember, I never knew you existed until you got me out of there," she said as she looked back at him with a tiny but genuine smile.

Kyle was confused by her sudden change in heart, " Why would you say that?" He paced around for a minute and finally found a seat pn the floor with his back rested against the wall.

"Because I believe people that have done wrong but try to fix their wrongdoing should be given a second chance. Now if I go to the police and give them your name, you can't have that second change," she said as she watched him intently.

He looked around and back to her. "But You could have been killed and you are seriously hurt. I just don't understand your forgiveness. " he frowned. His father only had one emotional, rude. He was a sadistic old man who got off on killing women.

"But I'm not dead and this will heal. I'm not dead because of you," she admitted truthfully as she finished cooking and began to put the hamburgers together.

Kyle smiled. "Thanks." He spoke softly more honest than he had ever been before. His humanity was on the edge and as much as it scared him, he wanted to change.

She smiled softly and handed him a plate. "Eat up," she said before taking a bite and hopping back to the bed. She continues to eat as she watched him intently.

Kyle ate the burgers in about two seconds and looked uo to find her staring at him. He blushed lightly and looked away.

She noticed and cautiously moved to him . "Why did you look away?" She asked softly as she hesitantly turned his head towards her.

She looked down and sighed softly as she wrapped her arms around herself insecurely. "I'm sorry..." She whispered softly as she unintentionally teared up.

When he walked back into the room she was tearing up, "Dont cry. Please." He spoke softly to her.

She realized the tears and quickly wiped them away. "I'm not," she said quietly as she hugged herself tighter.

Kyle hugged her softly trying not to scare her. The sun was beginning to stay and he knew now that his father had to have been home.

She instinctively laid her head against his shoulder and sighed softly as she looked down. "I'm sorry," she repeated quietly though she kept her arms around herself.

She stared at him without knowing it. She couldn't help it though. Everything about him seemed so perfect so she couldn't help but stare.

She closed her eyes and yawned as she stretched a bit. She silently blushed a bit as she curled into him as she slowly fell asleep.

The next morning kyle woke ans blushed with a smile on his face when he noticed she was curled up with him. However there was no going back they had to get out of town his father would be looking for them.

She let out a soft groan at the movement. She finally woke up and noticed how she was curled up to him before she quickly backed up. "Umm...sorry," she said softly as she looked at him with a blush.

Kyle shook his head, "Dont be sorry " he spoke quietly. " We need to leave soon, get outta here before my dad finds us."

She smiled softly and sat up. "Fine but you're carrying me because j don't want to use crutches," she said with a small smile and ran her hands through her hair.

She blushed silently as she hugged herself and looked down. "Is it so wrong for a girl to change her mind?" She asked as she laid back and looked up at him.
