    With Ether

    Mentioned Krotus

    Location Central Courtyard
Aria watched as the shadows' appearances shifted from person to person, intriguing and entertaining her since the morning was so uneventful and boring. In her peripheral vision, she noticed a student heading in her direction. The elf tilted her head slightly at the male that approached her, but otherwise kept her thoughts to herself. He seemed confused at Krotus' display of sorcery, and she lightly chuckled. The older male was such a show-off.

The male inquired what was going on, so he confirmed her suspicions that he noticed the dark magic at play. "
One of the teachers," she responded simply, keeping her gaze trained on the shadows in slight interest. Some students were finally beginning to notice and jumped in fear and surprise as they saw themselves or saw doubles of their friends. It was all rather amusing. "The sorcery teacher is rather proud of his abilities," Ariawyn mused.

"The teachers?" Ether asked, slightly baffled and his confusion clear on his face. Two things confused him at that moment. The shady one actually responded to his question and it didn't even sound spiteful, which was different when it came to mages of her caliber. Second, was the fact that an instructor....of all people....was the cause of this arcane prank. Ether mused that maybe the teachers in the establishment were actually much more light-hearted and jovial then he had initially believed. His initial impression was that this was a more serious and down to earth type of place.

He noticed that he had been generalizing and quickly corrected himself, shaking his head lightly as he did. He was far more intellectual and open minded than that. Maybe his original thoughts weren't wrong but instead the college promoted individuality as well. Thinking back, they did seem to cater to student's individual learning styles and abilities. This particular instructor was proof of that. "Well....." continued the hemomancer, "Sorcery was never something that I was blessed with. I've always needed to understand the things I want to use and control. It must be nice to do something just because you CAN. Still, seeing the other students reactions is pretty amusing." The blood mage chuckled as he saw a girl jump and squeak at the sight of herself across the courtyard. Ether even locked eyes with a clone of himself, who gave him the same confident, smirk he was giving it.
