Jayleigh covered his eyes as soon as he could and bent over, still smirking. Thanks to his advanced sight the brightness only made everything blurry, and being kicked in the balls didn't hurt to much. When everything went dark, Jayleigh could still see. Something about his powers involving him to be able to see in the dark. Jayleigh watched with a blurry and greenish gaze as the kid ran off to the car and they drove off. Jay blinked before turning and dashing after them, showing off his impressive speed. He managed to catch up enough to jump on the back of the car. At his height of 5'9 he managed to look over the car. He smiled. He was already happy enough before the girl hit him with that yellow ribbon. He managed to climb his way up on top of the car. "Whoo!" He shouted, bringing his arms up. "I've always wanted to try this!"

Abigail raised an eyebrow at Kal, she certainly was not going to use her powers for his favor. But, something else might be in order. Producing a black ribbon, it flowed toward Kal, filling him with terror. And not just scare prank. No, more like a giant snake is eating you alive. Abby could be quite evil sometimes. Especially when disrespected.

Kal slammed on the breaks sweating, shaking, with fear. He screamed, and was choking on his own saliva. His eyes turned bloodshot and he screamed in pain. Not only did the ribbon make him scared, But he actually felt what was happening.


"Help. Me" Kal screamed in pain, barely any sound coming from his mouth.

Abigail stared at her hands in horror, she hadn't done something like this since. Since. Well, she didn't want to think about it.


Quickly, she tried to break her own terror with her power. Instead, more fluid fear flowed from her hand as her terror grew. She broke the door of the car and took off down the streets, fear pushing her forward.


"W-what did I do... T-t-that was enough fear to feed a hundred souls. Oh god!"


She crawled under a dumpster and broke down.

Kal fell out of the car, and slowly dragged himself to the dumpster. His eyes were completely red, and his screeches of pain brought the world to a stop for Abigail. He put his hand out to her, and the light around them went pitch black. Even Jayleigh couldnt't see in it. " Help" Kal said. He grabbed her neck, chocking her screaming, "Help me Abigail! Help me!" And then Kal dropped, the ribbon ran out. He was safe.

Abigail grabbed her head, trying to stop the world from spinning. This is why she broke the rules, right? To avoid the truth. She had scared far too many minds already, and now she let her temper out.


She crawled out and tried to catch her breath.

Kal felt light headed. This whole experience was just like a night terror. He couldn't remember anything. He made the light to normal, and he looked at Abigail. What had happened to him. He had no memory of it.


"Abigail, what just happened?"

"I-i'm so sorry! I-i didn't know i-it would do that! I didn't know I could do that!" She stuttered.

He still didn't know what happened.


"Please tell me, I need to know, today, please. I'm begging you."

"I-i think I let fear loose." She bit her lip, remembering her past.

"On who, what happened?" He grabbed her shoulders and shook her, screaming "TELL ME NO I NEED TO KNOW!"

Abigail flinched and hit him with a blue/green ribbon, filling his mind with calm.


"Cool it dude. I hit you, and several others that I don't know."

"Just, hit me with what, i have to know."


Kal looked at her, and realized she had less black ribbons. He thought to himself what they implied. Then he knew it. She unleashed fear. She unleashed hell on him. He had no idea what to do. Now he wants to be with Jayleigh, more than Abigail. He looks down and starts to run away.

Abigail closed her eyes and lay down on the pavement.


"At least he ran... I probably won't have to deal with pitchforks this time..."


She slowly drifted of, not caring about anything.


Because, well, if anyone attacked her, her powers where far worse than they knew.

Kal looked around frantically, not mowing where he belonged. Abigail wanted him dead, he thought, and Jayleigh is a stalker, but who does he chose. He started to run, looking for Jayleigh. He thought deeply, then a trail of light was leading to him. He never knew he could use that power. At the end of the trail he was back at Abigail.


"No. this can't be happening." Kal grabbed Abigail, crying, "What did you do to my powers?!" Tears were running down his face, dripping onto Abigail's hands. "I was going to Jayleigh, and it brought me to you." He stopped crying, created a sound barrier of shadows and screamed in her face. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!" He sat back down and started to cry again.

Abigail looked at him, trying not to cry. He was so similar to her old friend. And Abigail had accidentally hit her.


"M-my powers don't tamper with others powers, only emotions that last for a short time." She whispered..

"You did something to me, you creep." Kal whispered to her. "My powers never worked like that. You must have done something to me."


Kal reached into Abigail's ribbon pouch and grabbed a red ribbon. Pain. He threw it on to her, wondering what was going to happen.


"This is what you get, for tampering with my powers. THIS IS WHAT YOU GET YOU B'''''

Abigail closed her eyes, ignoring whatever he was doing.

"I'm going to murder you. This was a curse. I never wanted powers. People thought that I was a jerk, because I make their light surrounding them pitch black after they were mean to me. So just get out of my life. Or bring me to the future. Your choice." Kal replied. Sitting against the wall.

Abigail stood up and started walking down the road.


"Murdering in the present is punishable. In the past, it's accepted. In the future, it's impossible."


She took off, feeling completely blank. She couldn't feel anything except this heavy blankness. She paused for a moment and tried to create a yellow light. Nothing.


"Oh nononono! I-if I can't do anything, I-i can be attacked!"


And as if on cue, three big guys came out of the shadows.


Guy 1: "We knew you would be left weak one day. And now is our time to make you pay."


Guy 2: "Oh yeah. Your a goner girl"


Guy 3: "She is?"
