"No, I shall not. Your lamentation is not worthy of punishment."


She closed her eyes and a gentle blue glow took over her skin. "I shall destroy the next one of your kind that dares harm you, Natalie. I declare that you shall now live with me, away from harm." She smiled and lifted Natalie's chin, so their gazes could meet. "I am yours, you are mine. Even though we have only just met, I love you."

She looked at her with a mixture of gratitude and surprise. The aura surrounding Blair was so brilliant... so bright...


" So you truly are an angel... " she whispered in awe " I am not worthy to be in your presence... I... "


She sighed.


" You sure you want to do this? I am pretty certain that other angels like you would flock to you to be your friend. Yet... you want a miscreant like me to be your friend? "

"More than just a friend."


She lowered herself to sit in Natalie's lap and pressed her lips gently to hers.

She did not know what to say. The warmth spread in her body more and more rapidly, making her to feel at ease.


" I... I think I know what to do. " she said, standing up. " I need to do something Blair. I will see you later. "


Without looking back she darted away. She did not deserve somebody like Blair... she was too kind to her, too loving. No... Blair needed someone she truly deserved. Somebody worthy of her.


And Natalie just knew how to make that happen.

She looked up and sighed, before leaning against the tree.


"That demon is going to be the death of me..."

It was past lunch time when a blue-eyed, blonde girl ran in the school in a hurry. Hope was glinting in her eyes and she was happy even though she was obviously late from classes. She luaghed as the sun touched her round, happy face and enjoyed as the wind carried her golden hair. She enjoyed being young and free.


When she finally reached the school she suddenly saw an another girl who she found super cute in her uniform. Her blue eyes widened in surprise as she saw her unique, white hair. With a wave of her hands she stepped closer to her.


" Hey there! " she welcomed her with a cheerful voice " Great day isn't it? "

She looked up and smiled slightly. She brushed her hair back and waved as well.


"I guess, it isn't the worst day. I'm Blair."

 

[DawnAntalios]

" The name is Lucy, nice to meet you, Blair. " she smiled at her with glee. " What were you doing out here in the shadows alone? Enjoying the day can be more fun with company you know. "

"Well, Lucy. I did have company, but she went off, somewhere..."


This girl was a bit too cheerful.

 

[DawnAntalios]

" Oh I see. " she backed off a little " Well I wanted to spend my time outside and... I just thought it would be nice to meet new people. I am sorry if I was intruding, I did not mean to. "


She then started to think.


" May I stay until your friend returns? "

"I-I guess..."


She scooted over, smiling yet again, more out of politeness of course.

 

[DawnAntalios]

" Is something bothering you? " Lucy asked, sitting down in the grass. " If you have anything I can help you with then ask. I am a good listener as well as secret keeper. Nobody will know anything you tell me. "

"It's fine, honestly. I'm just a little tired and worried for my friend."


She laughed it off and smiled at Lucy.

 

[DawnAntalios]

" Friendship is a heavy burden - but also the best thing in the world they say. " she said as she played with the grass " But why are you worried about your friend? Is he... or she troubling you perhaps? Giving you a hard time? "

"She and I are different from you. I mean no offence, but I love her, I'm not sure of her feelings for me. She keeps saying such demeaning things about herself. She said, right before she left, she had something to do."


She crossed her arms and sighed, the back of her head hitting the tree.

" You love her, huh? " she grinned at Blair " That is nice, I always thought love should have no bounds. "


She looked at the sky, still smiling.


" I am pretty sure she feels the same way... but maybe she is afraid to show it. I know not who she is but maybe the problem is that she has grown up in a different place? Perhaps her parents were not so... accepting with her feelings? "

"You could say that...."


She tangled her fingers in the grass, eyes still closed and a peaceful expression on her face.


"I wish she would be back soon...."

 

[DawnAntalios]

She now looked at Blair with a sympathetic face.


" You are worried about her... " she said silently as she put her hand on Blair's hand " I am pretty sure that she will return eventually. Do not worry about her. "


She searched her bag for something that she failed to find in the end, and was grumbling angrily.

(So what's going on with Natalie?)


"I am....what are you trying to find?" She tilted her head in Lucy's direction.

 

[DawnAntalios]

( So eager, are you? Very well, let's reveal the fun part)


" It is nothing I just... " Lucy said but then her head started to ache very badly. It was time.


She quickly stood up, still grasping her head in pain as she smiled at Blair.


" Excuse me, I need to go now, I have the worst headache of the world. I will see you later ! "


And with that she walked off quickly, trying not to be suspicious.


Lucy barely made it to the girl's bathroom before she lost her balance and threw her backpack on the ground. She coughed and the world was spinning with her as the spell was consuming the last bits of her energy. She snapped with her fingers and her body started to change. Suddenly those deep blue eyes started to look like ones of dark green emerald and her golden hair slowly transformed into one of pitch black coal.


Natalie panted as she looked in the mirror, smiling.


" Yes... I think this will be fine. "

"Huh?" She closed her eyes again and shook off the experience.


She would hope Natalie would come back soon.


(I took that sentence so badly...I am so dirty minded...I KNEW IT!!)

( My bad sorry, just thought we might make things more interesting. )


Natalie, her head still hurting walked back in the shadows where she left Blair. She was completely exhausted but she thought it was worth it.


" I.. am back, sorry for keeping you waiting. " she said as she collapsed on the ground, staring at the sky and panting heavily. This took a greater toll than she expected.


" I hope nothing went wrong while I was away? "

"A girl came up to me...but she was way too cheerful."


She rolled over and managed to wind up on top of Natalie, a smirk on her face.

" Oh... " her smile vanished in an instant. Perhaps she was too pushing? " I thought you made a new friend, that sounds really great. "


She smiled at her weakly.


" You are... beautiful. "

She ran a finger down her cheek and moved closer, her breath running across Natalie's lips.
