Danielle nodded and turned on the burner, chuckling a little at the thought of her putting her mate on a fire willingly.

Shelby pushes some switches, and Danielle can see various powders and liquids mixed in. The smell is still much like Cass, but with some other pleasant stuff mixed in.

"Now we can put the rest of him in, okay? Go ahead and pour, then set the speed to high."

She nodded again and poured the rest of him in, making sure that she didn't spill any of him. We don't want to lose any of him.

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby chuckles. "You thinking about when this happens to you? I suppose becoming a mindless set of chemicals is rather unnerving. I wonder how it would affect humans."

As she speaks she looks at the screen.

"Okay, let's go get lunch. Cassiopeia's going to need to be mixed and warmed for a while, and the bottling will be automatic, so it's best to take a break."

"Alright" She said, looking back before she left. Goodbye favorite. She walked away with Shelby.

 

[JessieSune]

The team reach the cafeteria where both people and Pokemon are lined up to get food.

"Now obviously the cafeteria's cooking isn't the fanciest, but it should be okay. If you really dislike it, I'll get you something else, alright?"

Danielle nodded. "Ok, and dint worry to much,I may be spooked on your delicious food, but I'm not picky." She said smiling.

 

[JessieSune]

"Spooked? I don't mean to scare you with it," Shelby jokes, reaching for a tray and scooping some fruit salad onto it, then placing a sandwich nearby and a cup of juice. She repeats the operation for a second tray and offers it to Shelby. Several people compliment Danielle's beautiful coat.

Danielle blushed gently and took the food. "Humans are to easily impressed" she said, ducking her head a little.

 

[JessieSune]

"We just have an appreciation for pretty Pokemon," laughs Shelby. "And you are as pretty as they come. Even a Mew is lucky to have you for a mate."

The two sit opposite each other, and for the first time Danielle gets a real look at the building's entrances and exits, rooms and halls...and so many people.

Danielle took it all in..it was nearly overwhelming. "I..I never knew you worked with so many people." She said ducking her head once more. And humans were looking at her..

 

[JessieSune]

"Yeah, it's a big team. Silph Co. is a pretty important company, after all. We manufacture potions and Poke Balls and Scopes and all sorts of things to help Pokemon and trainers bond. Those pay the bills for us to innovate further -- like the Aromatherapy device you and I are building."

 

[AmethystRoze]

She ate her food in silence, watching the people around her rather than her food. Why are you acting so scared Danielle? They're obviously friendly, our else Shelby wouldn't work here.

 

[JessieSune]

Shelby notices. "Do they make you nervous, sweetie? I know it's a lot of humans, so I'm sorry if I brought you in here without enough warning."

She pets her a couple of times.

 

[AmethystRoze]

The pets restore sure courage in Danielle. "No, you're fine, none of this it's your fault.. I'm being a bit cowardly I suppose." She said, slightly ashamed that she would be this weak for no reason.

 

[JessieSune]

"It's normal to be nervous in a crowd, Danielle. Lots of Pokemon are, so don't beat yourself up about it."

She finishes her sandwich a few moments later, accepts some papers from some coworkers, then offers her juice to Danielle.

 

[AmethystRoze]

"Right, sorry for worrying you at all." She said. When Shelby offered her juice she gratefully accepted. "Thank you. " She said drinking the sweet drink.

 

[JessieSune]

"Don't apologize, sweetie. You did nothing wrong!" Shelby smiles a little sadly. "I wish she didn't feel so bad for nothing all the time."

 

[AmethystRoze]

Danielle caught the stray thought, and immediately almost said sorry again for being sorry, then she realised that would contradict the point. Instead she licked Shelby off.

"Aw, you little cutie. Come on, let's get back to work. I bet you're eager to see what we've made with Cassiopeia, yeah?"

Danielle was happy to be distracted again and smiled. "Definitely." She said, blushing just a bit when she was called cutie.

Shelby leads the way back to the cosmetics lab. Once they get inside she gestures to a bottle with a pink gel inside.

"And there it is! Mew shampoo! Reproducible only by means of making your mate fat with sweet foods or lack of exercise. Want to test it out?"

She nodded, hoping that it would include bring pet by Shelby to get it in. "Sounds good."
