"Don't even sweat it. I'm just glad to share a bit of poffins - can't help it if his nose guided him to food instead of an actual stand," Casey chuckled at the trainer. When Growlithe ate the poffin and licked her palm clean, Eevee nipped at his own trainer, clearly a bit jealous of the attention and feeding she was giving to another Pokemon. Gosh - he was so spoiled. The young girl stifled a laugh though and pet her own Pokemon before reaching for Growlithe again.
"Oh, what a sweet boy," Casey cooed, being sure to not rub under the content Growlithe's neck, as instructed. She rolled his floppy ears between her fingers and it appeared that the puppy Pokemon enjoyed that! He was as soft as Casey imagined; such a soft coat and a healthy set of canines. He was competition-worthy, for sure! Casey wondered what kind of trainer this girl was. Hm, maybe she should ask. She continued to listen to what the other trainer was saying when her entire body froze at the mention of a date.
Casey's body shot up immediately, waving her free hand vigorously in wide, oddly aggressively fashion. The other arm gripping awkwardly against Eevee, tighter and tighter as her opposite hand freaked out. The poor Pokemon wiggled in her grip... unsuccessfully. "D-date? What date? HA-HAH! We just bumped into each other - literally - at the city entrance. Definitely not a date! One-hundred percent not a date! You're totally not interrupting anything - ya'know. 'Cause it's not a date!" Casey paused for a moment, realizing she didn't want to offend Ash or make him seem like he was unappealing or anything... "U-uhm, not to say that you're not date-worthy, Ash - but, erhm. Well, you know what I mean."
Casey pulled herself together, loosening the grip on Eevee and scratched her cheek. "Let's start over, haha. I'm Casey - and I'm a Pokemon Performer, this is Asher - he's a trainer. I'm not too sure we can really point you in the direction of another stand since we just got here, and all. But you're welcome to join us in search of some food, or something cool to do here at the convention!" She turned to Asher with a slightly embarrassed smile - they should be able to put their heads together and come up with something, right?
