I would ideally like some land by the coast. Also Duchies should by far be the largest as they are the "direct" vassals of the King. Least if we follow with IRL gentry stuff.[For those users taking the roles of Dukes/Viscounts/etc.]Your character's territory limitations and characteristics are yet to be described/completed. Keep in mind that noble people of such titles were provided with an extension of land to control. Having said that, if you have any idea/opinion and suggestion, please contact me with them. If nothing is commented, I shall proceed to fill the document according my own point of view on how it should be.

Yes, yes. I've taken the importance into an account, of course.I would ideally like some land by the coast. Also Duchies should by far be the largest as they are the "direct" vassals of the King. Least if we follow with IRL gentry stuff.
This would be weird. Like if they were hired by a rival nation or faction the land would change jurisdictions.Any chance the mercanery army can actually ''own'' the land around their fort?
Yes... that could be problematic. This would be weird. Like if they were hired by a rival nation or faction the land would change jurisdictions.
It wouldn't be fitting for a mercenary army, that can suddenly turn against the kingdom they reside in, to be given land to own. Of course, it's been already answered. -w-Any chance the mercanery army can actually ''own'' the land around their fort?
Would it not be wierd for mercaneries to even own a fort then? Why would any land owner let them build one if they can just turn on them? Unless they have some kind of treaty that prevents the mercaneries from joining the oposing side of the land owners. It wouldn't be fitting for a mercenary army, that can suddenly turn against the kingdom they reside in, to be given land to own. They would likely "rent" it or be given a run down one. It would also likely only be for the duration of the contract, unless they kept the location of their fort in a remote location that was "unknown" to others.Would it not be wierd for mercaneries to even own a fort then? Life makes sence now.A difference though is whether or not you are a wandering band of mercenaries that travel the world or simply a band that stays in a region of the world. Mercenaries are also usually housed or kept near the main army of the nation they are contracted too.
Oh totes any time. I hosted plenty of nation and fantasy RP's months and months ago. So I get the general gist of this stuff. Also this kind of era really interests me.Oberons Veil You make the managing job way easier. Thank you!
NPC's for now. If required I'll take their role. For the Count and Countess that essentially rule Hotor, are they going to be NPC's (since they're already named) and you control them? I just want to know what to expect.
Do we wait for you to make the first post or do we just jump in?
