What ever it takes. This isn't just about taking land, its about radical Islam versus Qasem's Islam. Besides I only want to take the Hisa, regions. WIll leave the rets of it to be under Militayr rule.

Islamist won't take kindly to you attacking your own. DAESH is different since most muslims see them as radical and don't agree with their views but killing Afghani citizens will paint Qasem's Islam in the same range as DAESH in world views and you'll likely ostracize yourself.

Probably will just train task forces to replace the French and just do what the French do, only in the name of Allah and use the task forces to create a good image for Iran among the people and try to crush the Taliban's radical views with my own. Hopefully I can dissuade the radicals and convert most of them to my vision

The Taliban are a VERY difficult group to defeat.
It's not centralized warfare, IE they don't have any specific targets to attack. No capital city, no well known military bases, no production facilities.


Fighting a country is easier since you KNOW where to attack. Guerrilla warfare is rather difficult. The Taliban (and a group similar to them, the Mujahideen) defeated the USSR and NATO (a decades long war isn't really a victory for anyone though) so I do doubt Iran's ability to defeat the Taliban. Unless Iran is willing to disregard civilian welfare and just destroy anything that is surrounding a Taliban base. Which would most likely be near civilians anyways.

Soviets were a neighboring country but I know that it's under different circumstances but still shows the difficulty of taking down the Taliban.

it will help your economy in the short run pumping money into your private sector will help but it will raise your deficit and you will be pulled into the same trap Greece was. You have to adopt austerity measures which will hurt you or you can keep spending which will wreck everything and you will collapse.
