「Chapter 1: The Old Frathien Kingdom」

_______Way before there were Frathien and Glaistic, there existed a vast land in the northeast part of mainland ruled mostly by the Frathos royal family. Beneath the Frathos royal family, there were three other noble families who were able to marry with the future head of the Frathos family: Vortigern, Emistic and Eustachus. There were many other negligible royal families over parts of the divided North. The Frathos, however, were the equivalent of the kings. The Frathos’ wealth came from metal mining by the mountain area in the north part and blacksmiths weapon trading. Along with the trading they controlled a powerful military, due to not only the money, but the weapons they could create. The Frathos family was a powerful family in the north, and other royal families wanted that wealth.

_______Amongst the daughters of the Eustachus, Vortigern, and Emistic families, there was a lot of competition over the Queen’s throne. Who wouldn't want such a promising seat next to a wealthy ruler? This fierce competition was a long standing tradition within the families, on that had gone on for more than ten generations. With each successive win, prosperity came to the backing family. It was seen as good luck, and more so, wealth. The royal families counted the times they had had a queen. They counted the length between the times that they had not. To normal citizens there wasn’t much that could be seen but the hostility between the royal families was intense.

_______The kingdom of Frathien was built by the Frathos royal family. By capturing lands around their main strong hold, they slowly but surely took control over the north. The Frathien Kingdom was ruled by the Frathos royal family. There were three noble families that worked with the royal family. These were the indisputable truths for the citizens of the country. Commoners could only look up in awe.

_______However, as time passed, more and more daughters of the three noble families prefered to marry with ordinary people, as long as they got the money. There was less pressure, in comparison to being married to the King of the Frathos’ line. It, also seemed that as time passed, the wealth of Frathos royal family became less as the metal became scarce. The economy was severely affected, but other more normal professions were able to rise. The common people began to experience more wealth. The royal families declined and became a shell of their previous selves. New kingdoms sprung up and the once glorious Frathien kingdom seemed on the verge of collapse.

「Chapter 2: The Formation of Glaistic」

_______As time moved on there were less and less noble women suited for the King, and the tradition of marrying from one of the three families was even looked down upon by the King himself. King Hetro Falk Eustachus Frathos ascended the throne with these same sentiments. He was a King who viewed these political marriages in such a negative light. He was forced into marrying a noble from the Emistic family, the only daughter from a royal family eligible to bear a child for him of his age. This forced marriage created a split between the Frathos’ royal family and the Emistic family. This Queen and King were neither on good terms but for the sake of the kingdom they performed their roles. Before long the Queen did bear a child for the King. It was not before long, that the Queen was pregnant again. This time, however, a question circled amongst the maids and staff. Whose child was in the Queen’s tummy?

_______It was common knowledge amongst the staff that the King and Queen rarely interacted with one another. Rumors started to swirl, to the point where even commoners outside the castle were gossiping. Who? Whose was it? Advisors to the King tried to find out the truth. Advisors for the Queen tried to conceal the truth. Despite the games, it did not take long for the King to reveal the biological father of the second baby. King Hetro realized the father was his own younger brother Prince Glevario Bell Eustachus Frathos. The Prince had had an affair with the Queen while the King was out defending his territory from Southern bandits.

_______The King was furious. Despite his fury he still had the heart not to kill his own blood. Instead he sent his younger brother, his Queen, and their attendants to a secluded part of the uncharted lands where it snowed hard almost all year. They were effectively exiled from Frathien and had to live in a small unnamed castle that had been previously used for the Frathos royal family to hide in the event of an attack at the Frathien main castle.

_______The northern lands were cold, the palace was empty. There wasn’t even any kind of furnace to heat the castle, let alone a few torch lights. There were a few worn-out wooden chairs that they were able to buy from commoners in the area. The only plus was the amount of wild animals in the hills and forest for them to hunt and sustain themselves. Through the interactions with the commoners in the area, the Prince and Queen were able to renovate the castle slowly but surely.

_______The castle was named after the exiled Prince’s first name and the Queen’s last name: Glaistic. It was there that they lived. Through good will, hunting, and kindness, they became a kingdom of their own with people following them willingly: Kingdom Glaistic. The news of the new kingdom reached the ears of King Hetro of Frathien. Gradually he grew jealous. He had just suffered the loss of great number of his soldiers defending his area from the bandits, and yet his wretched brother and his family seemed happy with their new home.

_______To say he was jealous was an understatement. This jealousy was dangerous, and quickly became fury.

_______He brought his remaining soldiers to attack Glaistic and killed the new crowned rulers along with their kin. The King didn't bother to burn their remains, and left their bodies rot in the castle. Today this event is referred to as The Great Massacre.

_______From that day on, the King made another rule : a betrayal inside the Kingdom shall be punished with death, even royal families aren't excluded.

_______Apparently, some people of the Glaistic survived and others had joined the cause as they rejected the Frathien way of life. What was unknown at the time, was that many of those who joined the Glaistic cause had done so in order to retain power they had lost in the generations before. Many were from the other Noble families, and had wanted or believed that the second Prince, Prince Gelvario, should have been on the throne. They wanted power back, wanted the land they were promised. They mourned for the loss of their family and after cremating the bodies by themselves, and then they were out for blood. They planned to seek for revenge, bloody revenge in the way of Frathien history. They attempted a rebellion, known in history as the Failed Rebellion.

「Chapter 3: The Rebirth of Glaistic」

_______Unfortunately, the Glaistic remnants couldn't win the battle even though Frathien castle's defense was lower because of the lack of soldiers. They were locked inside the prison, where a young man greeted them and asked the reason for their foolish infiltration to the Frathien. They were so mad and literally yelled and cried at the young man. But the young man calmly answered all of the fury and told them that the King who killed their family was already dead.

_______It was that night when he decided to spend his strength to kill his younger brother and the woman who betrayed him that he died in the hands of southern's bandits. The news came as a shock to the Glaistic soldiers. The new young King released them and released the remaining Emistic family who were locked up during King Hetro's rule. Some stayed and some went back to Glaistic.

_______After quite some time, there was peace. The new King, King Cybrus I, started to spread his might not through fighting but through negotiation. His reign is known commonly as the Golden era of Frathien, and his court as the Golden Court. Small neighboring Kingdoms around Frathien castle surrendered without any necessary dispute. The southern bandits had made them taken too much toll for small kingdoms to last any longer. Not only the small Kingdoms, but also more and more people without homes started to join under Frathien once more, as they had in the past. Even though the growth was small, the King was able to foresee the advantages he already had in his hands.

_______He did not know, however, that Glaistic would raise a war flag against him. As he had expanded his territory, Glaistic had expanded southward, towards the more temperate lands for unknown reasons, their expansion continued. This led to an event known as the Icey River Rift. It seemed that there were still some people from the family his father had killed holding a grudge against Frathien. What he did not know was that it was more than just a grudge. He himself went to the new capital of Glaistic, accompanied only by his trusted personal bodyguard who was also his best friend since childhood. He had confidence in his sword skill, and he trusted that his personal bodyguard would not let any harm came to him. He planned to use the trip not only as a negotiation but as a sign that he meant to create a peace between the two countries.

_______However, as he stepped inside the castle he just realized how wrong he was. The meeting was a trap. This revelation wasn’t the worst part of the matter. He had anticipated walking into a trap. What he hadn’t anticipated was the betrayal of his best friend and personal bodyguard. The fight to escape was a hard one, as his best friend was equally matched with him. That day he lost not only an eye to his friend but the trust of his greatest friend.

_______He almost didn’t make it out alive, however he had anticipated the trap and the army he had prepared beforehand saved him. This army had been lying in wake for such an event to occur and spies, of King Cybrus' choosing, had followed him and his bodyguard. When they saw signs of the trap they had raised the alarm summoning the army and they went to save their king. This army and small militia would later give rise to the Royal Guard, who'd stand by the Kings side other than his bodyguard (to prevent such a betrayal from possibly happening again). He and his army were able to kill most of the turncoats, leaving only the women, girls, and children alive. This massacre is recorded in history as The Second Great Massacre.

_______Glaistic had fallen into his hands, whether he wanted it or not. Distraught by the recent betrayal of his best friend, and angered by the loss of his eye, he decided not to make the same mistake as before. He quickly erased all other insurrection. Soldiers were stationed in Glaistic castles. He started to redevelop the economy and the castles, leading to the castles becoming more lively. Through the veil of the lively attitude the mourning atmosphere still could be felt.

_______After the domination of the Glaistic Kingdom, King Cybrus Grey Frathos took certain precautions in order to ensure that Glaistic wouldn’t bear fangs towards Frathien again. Immediately he had trusted side families of the Frathos family, take up the name Glistar. He placed them as the new royal family, only in name. He still retained control over all political and economic power. He retained control over their lands, what they owned and what retained Frathien. The young king investigated the old Glistar family only to discover gold mining near the Frathien-Glaistic border, within Frathien's territory. Instantly he understood why they were so intent on trying to rule Frathien: money. Frathien is and was a major exporter of gold, silver, gemstones, and other rare metals. The fighting was not for their personal freedom as they so declared, or that they disagreed with Frathien's rules. It was so they could rule over the mass wealth and history that Frathien had long controlled. The nobles that had fallen into Glaistic were starved of the power they had once held and wanted it once more, even if that meant taking down the current Frathien in the guise of revenge for the deaths of two lovers -- who probably knew nothing of the plot of the nobles that followed them. King Cybrus ensured that all mines stayed within the control of Frathien (as they have until the present day). For who knew where Glistar would stop should they ever get one mine.

_______Under King Cybrus’ rule, Frathien and Glaistic saw a peace between them that they hadn’t had since the conception of the Glaistic kingdom. Additionally the issues with the southern bandits seemed to stop, as it was clear that the south had a new leader -- one who controlled the chaos.

_______Under this guise of peace chaos started to swirl inside the kingdom once again.

「Chapter 4: King Cybrus' Rumored Affair」

_______There was a time before the latest fighting with Glaistic where King Cybrus was more of a calm mannered and collected man. He saw the best in people and believed in second chances. By the time of the Glaistic dispute ended, however, he changed to a more tyrannical and brutal czar. The betrayal of his closest friend and those close to him had caused him to come to the conclusion that he was once a fool. His new cold attitude was no big surprise to the citizens of Frathien, as they had grown accustomed to cruel kings. To those who knew him, they knew that he had been severly wounded, not only by losing an eye, but by having to kill his best friend. They weren’t sure that what remained of his heart could ever love.

_______And then came the time where a King needed a heir.

_______The royal counselors made sure that the King was to be wed with the last child of Vortigern. He wasn't opposed to the marriage, yet he didn't enjoy the concept of marriage. He couldn't, however, stop the marriage. Everyone agreed that the marriage was for the best. Even his Queen knew that he would not love her, and did her best to not only support him. She wished that he could trust her, but even she knew that was impossible.

_______A couple of years after the marriage, they were gifted with a healthy young heir, followed by the second a couple of years later. With two healthy heirs, the palace saw a sort of change in the king. He kept a special watch over the two children raising them with discipline, strength, and mental fortitude. These traits were normal for the growth of the royals, but at least the King was opening up his heart.

_______Time progressed and the King met a woman. The accidental meeting occurred while the King was near the Frathien southwest border. Their first meeting wasn’t particularly engaging. The only reason it left such a deep impact on him was from the questions that came from their meeting. Why would a woman be all alone in the woods, so far from any known village?

_______The woman wasn’t afraid of Cybrus, as many were that he encountered. She often found him hunting in the woods. His cold and cruel presence didn’t send her fleeing and hiding, but rather she spoke to him. They interacted at first with simple conversations. Over time the meeting grew in intensity.

_______Despite the fact that she wouldn’t tell him her name, he took the risk for the affair. He figured that the fact that she wouldn’t tell him her name, was a sign that she wasn’t from his land. Additionally there was a strong chance that she was a spy. Regardless he found his heart being captivated by this woman.

_______Slowly but surely the king’s heart started to heal bit by bit for this one person. He looked to his own children and wished for them to pick who they wanted to be with. The dated system of the noble families providing a Queen was a rule of the past. Such marriages had only ended in sorrow for his country. His father, had been betrayed. He didn’t love his own wife. This woman changed his mind about the concept of marriage and love and he decided that his children would be able to make their own decisions. She and found his way into his heart but just as quickly as the trust had begun it ended.

_______And another rule was made by him : "...nobles are not dominant partner. Whoever is chosen by the future ruler of Frathien cannot be changed by any law."

「Chapter 5: Southern Rebels Warring Period」

_______The secret affair disappeared into history, only remembered by the King and the woman of the forest, but it’s effects were put into rule. His heirs would be able to pick their own partners. The King was no stranger to a broken heart and he took back to controlling his countries, and guiding Glaistic. It was during this time that the king realized that across the great mountain ridge there existed a new kingdom led by the descendants of an outlander.

_______War once again came to Frathien. The advisors to the King were told that the Kingdom to the south was like Glaistic and that if it wasn’t controlled, there would only be more pain like what had come from Glaistic in the past. The advisors took the war as a sign of rivalry and control of the Kingdoms. Secretly, however, they agreed that there had to be a deeper reason that the King relentlessly continued the war and led the attack himself.

_______After the death of King Cybrus, his son, King Varin, tried to make peace out of the war, much like a young Cybrus had done when he first became king. The new King tried to negotiate over water routes and trade routes but died only after 10 years. His son King Ocyrus then succeeded him. He wished to solve the issues regarding the building of a structure connecting the Frathien mountain ridge edge to the Glaistic’s cliff, on the other side of the river. The rights to the river had never been explicitly defined between the north and the south. The King needed to define the control over the river for the sake of Frathien. The building, a damn, was necessary for the country. As such he decided to send an envoy to the south.

_______The attempt backfired. Frathien’s second Prince was sent over to negotiate the terms, but was almost killed. The war with the south continued.

_______As the King focused on the war in the south, the Prince retired back to Frathien and was given the task of supervising the governing of Glaistic. Even though Frathien and Glaistic were considered individual kingdoms, the rulers had been tied by blood and the late king had been the acting king for the nation’s reconstruction. The kingdoms were tied by blood and Frathien had grown wise enough not to make the same foolish mistakes as done by their predecessors. Glaistic, on the otherhand, had grown substantially since it's original days. They had expanded all the way down to the southern border mountain range where they met Silicia. Glaistic was now a country that could rival Frathien, should they so wish to but their ties with Frathien were deep rooted.

_______The second Prince married a girl of Glaistic and lived in peace trying to recover from the attack he had suffered. He never really recovered and died early. He did leave an heir for Glistar behind. He did die, however not knowing the true heritage of the girl he had married. She had been one of his distant relatives picked to rule as the new Glistar country. Her father was related to the Frathien line distantly and her mother had been one of the girls King Cybrus had spared when he took over Glaistic. Her mother had been a direct descendant of the original royal family of Glaistic, making her the Queen of their country in not only name (as she had married the Prince who was the ruler in secret) but in history as well. The son the Prince left behind was Glaistic’s King, King Erlend Crad Glistar.

_______Under King Erlend, Glaistic signed a treaty with Frathien - The Treaty of Ocyrus. The two nations would be separate entities with the Glistar royal family taking control completely over the kingdom, no longer would a Frathien royal rule the kingdom from the shadows. However both parties knew the enmity that could rise between the countries and at the end of everything, they were cousin countries. As such Glaistic agreed to be considered a subordinate Kingdom under Frathien. They would get the protection from the superior Frathine army, as well as were able to rule themselves. Frathein recieved a powerful trade partner, and no longer had to fear war from the north east. It was a win win for all sides.

「Chapter 6: Frathien Today」

_______Of course war continued with the south. There was never really a conclusion to the war in the south but time progressed and even that war became manageable through treaties, and trade.

_______Many generations have passed since King Cybrus and his sons. The current King of Frathien is Severio Bertram Vortigern Frathos, while the current King of Glaistic is Gregori Eldad Belshatzzar Glistar. The two countries are just as close as they had been at the conception of the Treaty of Cousins, the common name for the treaty between Frathien and Glaistic. If anything, since the time of the Great Warring Period, the countries had been able to develop themselves and their cultures.

_______Frathien is often synonymous with Order and Discipline. For Frathien there was no better title than to be powerful. Many a man and woman had gone to war to gain the infamous title. The Powerful, was a title only given to the strongest of the warriors. As such all Frathien children are taught to fight and defend themselves. They are taught to show no mercy and to cut down their enemies without hesitation. The great Frathien army possesses many a strong warrior. Over just strength, Frathien children are taught loyalty. Their loyalty is to their King, and kin. After such a bloody history the concept of loyalty has always been very important to Frathien citizens. They do not take to outsiders well, as they do not trust outsiders. Their riches come from rare and unique minerals sure as gold, silver, and other gemstones.

_______While their cousin to the north-east had a colder temperature, Frathien was a harsher and more extreme environment and terrain. The Frathien citizens learned how to survive, and that survival has only continued to this day. They have learned to blend in, how to hunt, and how to survive. The citizens of Frathien are very orderly, and disciplined much like their prised army. Sentences for criminals are harsh. Frathien is closed off from the world, trusting no one but Glaistic. They have isolated themselves from the rest of the world, except for the war to the south and Glaistic. Their culture has developed from here, focusing on military, and history, rather than arts. The education level of Frathien is quite high as all children are sent to academies to train in combat and knowledge. The knowledge they learn consists of geology, meteorology, physics, and other sciences that help with survival and combat. Nearly all of Frathien can write and read, but being a powerful warrior is still the most important aspect of their culture. The children are typically taught in public schools. Those who are able to, are able to test into the Academy system, or the military academies, once they reach a certain age. (see more below)

_______Men and women are treated the same. All jobs are accessible to men and women except for the Kingship, which will always be passed down to a male of the Frathos family. Men and women have businesses, and divisions in the army. They hold seats in the government and politics. What matters to their people is power so, anyone who can prove their strength and become powerful has the right to hold a position. As such, some families are passed down through women. Despite the fact that the there is a high literacy rate, they have rejected foreign technology and advancements. As such, those of Silicia would claim them to be uneducated barbarians.

_______The royal family praises manners, and a strict code of conduct. The major difference between a Frathos royal and a commoner, is manners and fighting style. Frathos royals are known to show no fear, and will lead the army themselves at the front showing the true strength of the kingdom and the Kings picked by the heavens to rule. The Frathien population is characterized by their dark hair. The royal Frathos family is characterized by pure black hair. Those in the south call the people Frathien the black haired demons, not only for their appearance but from their cruel, sometimes barbaric, and ruthless prowess.

_______Frathien citizens worship the God of War, the God of Survival and Harvest, and the God of Life and Death. For them, the best offerings they can give the gods is through a good battle and powerful victories. Technological development in Frathien has evolved differently than the rest of the world. They have learned to create their massive structures, drainage system, and other technologies through their own innovations. Should a foreigner come to the land, they may find the structures to be surprising.

「Chapter 7: Glaistic Today」

_______Comparatively Glaistic is more open and is focused on trade. Unlike the closed off nature of Frathien, Glaistic is open and more inviting. Their lands are more beautiful and scenic when compared to their cousin Frathien. Due to the cold weather in the northern parts of the country, the diet of Glaistic revolves more around meat, fish, and spices they have traded across their ports. Glaistic has the most varied of the environments of the three countries. It is at a higher elevation than Silicia (for the most part) and lower than Frathien. Glaistic is supported by Frathien in army, but they often send their own citizens to the academies in Frathien. These men and women are trained to protect Glaistic ships and trade routes, as well as become the personal guard for the Glistar royal family.

_______Unlike Frathien, the majority of Glaistic isn’t highly educated. Basic education is provided but not to the standard of Frathien -- this is Glaistic's way of maintaining a unified language like Frathien. Most of the citizens go to trade schools to learn trades in things like medicine, blacksmithing, and trade. The few who are highly educated are the soldiers, and the royals. Despite this Glaistic excels in trade, with weapons, and medicine being their major exports. Other exports include unique spices, teas, and material for cloth. Their herbal remedies are among some of the best in the world, with Glaistic pioneering new forms of medical advancements. Their major imports come from Frathien, who provides them with military support, and materials for weapons. Frathien also finances much of Glaistic’s trade through their gold. Glaistic is a strong trader, but when compared to Frathien they are weaker financially, simply due to resources. They are a much smaller country, as well.

_______Ethnically Glaistic and Frathien are similar as they are countries originating from the same people many years ago. Like Frathien, Glaistic emphasises loyalty to their kin and the King. Their royals are dark haired and remain close to the Frathien royal family. Unlike Frathien, criminal acts aren’t as harshly punished. They are also more open to accepting people making mistakes. They are the kinder of the cousins, hoping kindness can lead to a stronger bond. Frathien could have eliminated them, but instead they were made into their own country through Frathien’s kindness. The two countries continue their close relations even to this day.

_______ Due to the closeness of Frathien and Glaistic, some may claim Glaistic to be a nation in the Frathien Empire. While Frathien is not considered an Empire, these individuals cite the fact that Frathien is Glaistic's major backer. Frathien trains the Glaistic military, and provides extensive military support for the Kingdom. Frathien exports exclusively to Glaistic, and supports Glaistic's economy in many ways. These individuals would claim that Glaistic is Frathien's front for global expansion and exploration. There are many who speculate that if Frathien declared war on Glaistic, nullifying the Treaty of Ocyrus, that Glaistic would surrender immediately and fall to the hands of Frathien. They claim further that if such an event would happen that the Glistar royal family would not be killed but rather made into a formal royal family of the Frathien empire (the first true additional royal family in Frathien for hundreds of years).

_______ There is little to no discontent with the fact that Frathien and Glaistic are so close. Most citizens love Frathien, whether it is because of their ancient heritage or connection to Glaistic. This does not mean that all citizens would be content with becoming a part of the Frathien empire, due to Frathien's isolationist tendencies and tendencies to go to war. Many conspiracy theorists believe that if Frathien took on more characteristics like that of Silicia, that the citizens would flock to become Frathien citizens. These characteristics include: the pursuit of knowledge for advancement as a society, relaxation on policies towards outsiders, and pursuit of the arts. Additionally, they believe that if such should happen, the eventual growth of the Frathien empire would be secured.

「Chapter 1: An Introduction to the Ever War」

_______The story of Silicia goes back to the time of the 500 years before the Great Warring Period. When Frathien was dominating in the north, the south was ruled by bandits and barbarians. Villages were constantly in a state of fear and war was always present. Commonly called the Ever War, the people were constantly fighting. Small countries were constantly on the rise, only to fall faster than they could grow. Civil unrest was common and peace was a all but a concept. Some people fled to the north to escape the destruction of the south, only to find the climate unlike anything they had experience.

_______The southern lands had everything to make a beautiful kingdom. The lands were fertile, and open, allowing for farming. They were connected to the sea on many sides, allowing them to be open for trade. They had a similar culture and language and yet they lacked the knowledge and tact to maintain it. Thus when families tried to make their own kingdoms they fell just as quickly. Those that did survive were always on the brink of civil war. The citizens of those lands were doomed with oppressing rulers who tried to emulate the rumored norther royals unsuccessfully. They snatched away the citizen's basic necessities of life and were unable to provide protection. This eventually led to ruin and rebellion. The south was divided into many parts and multiple “kingdoms” with no one true ruler.

_______Conquerors of the time have been lost to history, but it can be assumed that there had been many attempts at the unification of the south. Some of these unifications have had an impact today, but with each successive take over all documents in regards to those ancient kingdoms have been lost in fire and destruction. The south was at war with itself and at war with the north.

_______Frathien, the empire of the north, constantly attacked any and all of those who tried to escape to the north claiming the refugees as bandits. Granted some of those who went north were bandits seeking wealth but many were simply refugees trying to have a better life. As a result the north became more of a fear than the southern wars for most citizens. They could not escape north, for fear of death, and they could not remain where they were, for fear of death. They could only hope to live in one of the “kingdoms” even under the oppressive rule, as it was the only hope for survival that they could achieve.

_______This constant state of fear was what citizens lived with from birth till death. Some cursed their lives for not being born strong or into wealthy families. They hoped for a better world, and a better life. Years went on and it became increasingly clear that the north was having their struggle. The southern were sure they would be conquered by the north.

「Chapter 2: Conquest of The Grand King Lucifer」

_______It was during the period known as the Great Warring Period, in the north, that a fine youth from across the ocean sailed to the bays of the south. With only a small fleet of soldiers, the youth defeated started to liberate the lands of the south. He defeated the tyrannical rulers and established the basis for the country that is called Silicia. This foreigner was unlike anything the southern natives had ever seen, they were fair skinned with hair the color of sand. They were much unlike the northerners or the southerners in build and physical characteristics but to the southerners they were like gods. The youth set up agriculture policies unlike the south had ever seen. He improved the general standard of living and brought prosperity to the land. His rule was unlike the tyrannical leaders from before and he was praised by the people who he conquered. Finally the people did not have to fear for their lives. They could only thank the youth, no their King, for helping them.

_______His name? GRAND KING LUCIFER DE SILIXION.

_______King Lucifer used the planning and knowledge of the foreign lands he had come from to build up the country in not only agriculture, but military, and culture. The south bloomed in the arts: poetry, art, pottery, dance, theatre, music. A culture that the south had been deprived of started to take form. He turned his eyes up north but found the organized militaries of Frathien and Glaistic. He also discovered the unforgiving terrain and mountains. Instead he decided to settle his conquest and controlled all the land south of the river. Slowly he tried to convince the remaining tribes and villages to join his kingdom.

_______ From his famous words, that would later be made into the national motto, the south was united under one leadership. "The Wiser Man Has The Last Say. In Wisdom is Strength."

_______When the handsome King Lucifer settled down, his bloodline dispersed into four noble families. The noble families were descended from his two daughters -- Emerritia, and Arcantia -- and his two sons -- Charles and Wistal. The children’s family surnames were taken from their names as follows; Emeretti, Arcansas, Charlemagne, and Wistalia. The four families were hailed by the title of Silixion, and reserved the exclusive right to sit on the throne.

_______The royal family of the Silcian royal family have golden hair and blue eyes, but these traits were recessive when compared to the natives of the south. Thus the traits are limited to the very core of the Silixion royal family. Said traits are said to be pure royal blood traits. Often their traits are prioritized when marriage comes about for the throne. The rest of the four royal families have mixed looks of brown hair, and darker skin. Over time these pure traits of pure blue eyes and blonde hair became less and less common.

_______This resulted in the four families quickly dropping down to three, as the Arcansas family dissipated after a few generations. The pure traits of the royal family could be found no where in their family. Without an heir directly related to the Silixion bloodline, they had no choice but to give up their claim to the throne. The three other families learned from the tragedy of the Arcansas family. Unanimously it was determined that the women of Silixions must marry into another noble family who carry the bloodline, and so with the prince and princesses. This was in order to ensure the bloodline purity and keep the three families as a part of the noble line. This rule became more relaxed as time progressed and more and more of their people came over from across the sea. It was also relaxed in order to avoid inbreeding.

_______The last Arcansas on the throne was from the Emeretti family. The son of the Emeretti family, who was the closest to become king was in fact the son of an Arcansas who had married into the family. His line ruled as the Silixion royal family for three generation. During this time the war between Silicia and Frathien began.

「Chapter 3: The Rise of Alexander Charlemagne」

_______The war was started by King Cybrus in the north, but the south retaliated with all that it could. They were, however, not prepared for the war as the northern powerhouse was and the war shook the very soul of the kingdom. Silicia was losing the war to the northern aggressors. The people looked to the King Emeretti to lead them to victory, but unfortunately the ailing king was unfit to go to the battlefield. It was when the very people of the country thought they would return to the dark ages of many generations past when Alexander Charlemagne, the first lieutenant of the armed forces, stepped forward.

_______Alexander Charlemagne was a tactical genius and fearless fought against the northern tyranny. He helped to curb the internal rebellion and power struggle, while defending the south from the northern invaders. His strategies and war tactics pushed back the great and powerful demons to the north, forcing them to retreat. Although they were sure to return again, the people had found a new hope in him.

_______When he returned from the battlefield, he was inevitably and justly crowned King of Silicia. His crowing marked the first time in history where the power of the throne was passed without inheritance. There were disagreements on the matter but since Alexander bore the name Silixion, as a Charlemagne one of the three great families, the disagreement quickly faded.

_______Since his reign the Charlemagne have ruled the Kingdom of Silixion, with current King Artemis Charlemagne, a descendant of Alexander.

「Chapter 4: Northern Aggressors Warring Period」

_______Although the war with the north stopped for a few years, the fighting began again without so much of a warning. Silicia had focused its resources on to restoring the land and population for the losses inflicted upon them from the great Frathien army. Upon the new attacks on the Northern borders, Silicia prepared for the worst. The Silixion royal family determined that the root of the war was due to the faulty treaty made for the river. The Icy River ran through Frathien first, then it became the border between Glaistic and Frathien, finally the river entered Silicia and branched out but not before passing a dam constructed by Frathien.

_______The Royal family awaited for the envoy from Frathien. Frathien had sent a raven stating that they would try to negotiate a peace, but the envoy never arrived. Instead fighting accelerated, leading to an unending war between the two kingdoms. It is said that an assassination attempt took place against the envoy from the north, but none in the royal family admitted to such a plot.

_______Regardless the never ending war between the two countries has made both rulers feel as if the war was futile. The war only seems to drain away resources and serves no ultimate purpose. Rather than being a fight over land, the war has become more of a hate war between the southerners and the black demons of the north. The people of Silicia blame Frathien for their losses and vice-versa.Both Kingdoms wanted to win the war, but there was no end to the battles. With the current progression of the fighting, it was clear that both armys would soon exhaust all their future conquests should they meet in the battle field once again.

_______Additionally, Silicia, although a larger country with many resources, has more mouths to feed due to its large population. The current King Artemis, being a realist, understood and realized that there had to be an end to the war. If there was not, only loss would be incurred. Thus, after discussing with his most trusted Minister, Noble Emeretti (his wife’s brother), he secretly went and met with Glaistic’s King, whom he heard to be a relative of the King of Frathien. He went there to seek advice on how to put an end to the war. The King of Glaistic then came up with the idea of a political marriage between the two kingdoms that will serve as a peace treaty and a symbol of union between the Kingdoms, which the citizens would be bound to follow.

「Chapter 5: The Charlemagne Curse」

_______In regards to the Charlemagne Family, there had not been a girl born in all of the generations since their accession to the throne. Whether it was before the Wistals rule before of the current generations of the Charlemagne family, there had never been a princess. Infact even the very first ruling Charlemagne family had not had a daughter. This is referred to as the Charlemagne curse.

_______The first Charlemagne King had been King Lucifer’s grandson (Charles’ son). He had had a son, who succeeded the throne but no daughter. His son had two sons and yet no daughter once again. Both children died young and the the throne had been passed on to the Wistalia Family. Then came the Arcansas, and then the Emerettis, and finally, yet again the Charlemagnes.

_______The trend was clear. There were not girls born directly to the Charlemagne Kings. Even in the Silixion family in general, there were hardly any girls born to the king. It might please the royal families of other nations, who uphold the belief that a male child means a direct successor, but to the Kings of Silicia, a girl child was the blessing of the Gods themselves. Every time a girl was born to the King, there had been great prosperity in the Kingdom. The last princess for the royals had been to the last Emeretti King. The war against the north had been won by Silicia, albeit it was Alexander’s military prowess that won. However there were successive times of peace and prosperity with daughters and the Grand King Lucifer had two daughters as well.

_______Needless to say, the Chalemagnes have always been unfortunate in this regard for all their Queen gave birth to only princes.

_______Therefore, it came as a miracle of utmost jubilation, when Queen Lizbeth Charlemagne (Emeretti) Silixion gave birth to the first Princess of the Charlemagne family, and first princess of the Kingdom since the last Emeretti King.

「Chapter 6: Silicia Today」

_______Today Silicia is the center for art and technology of the continent. With direct trade connections across the sea they are constantly advancing and evolving. Their major exports are art and technology, while they use farming and agriculture to support their economy. Silicia is a kingdom rich in its culture and cultural heritage. From poets, artists, and musicians, to pursuers of knowledge like scientists and voyagers, Silcia is constantly growing. The kingdom is glorious and gorgeous, especially in the spring. Their land is bountiful and they’d flourish if there was no war.

_______Their capital city holds a statue of the Grand King Luciger de Silxion, which stands tall leading the royal walk to the castle. It is in the city that libraries hold knowledge of the past. They have the most advanced technology for the three countries, as they had inherited technology from their foreign ancestors and have expanded upon it. Additionally they have sent their own scientists abroad to study and learn more.

_______Silicia has a decent size military, but they are not where near as trained in warfare as the North. Instead they use technology to fight the north. They also research ways to develop smarter and more dangerous weapons. Their power comes from this technology. The people of the country have migrated to other professions instead of fighting. Their ultimate goal isn’t to win the war but to have the least amount of casualty and damage.

_______The citizens of Silicia are generally educated, with basics in literacy to understand art and technology. Those who wish to expand their knowledge further, join academies and gain apprenticeships. Their general population remains farming and trading based. Demographically, the hair colors are lighter and skin tones are very different than that of the North. If someone from across the sea came to the continent and looked at the north versus the south, they would never believe that they had once looked the same.

_______The general population believe in their old gods, despite the national religion revolving around a singular god. The Royal family, however does not force the issue and allows them to have their holidays and festivals. National holidays are more dependent on the farming seasons, with harvest festival being the major reason to celebrate.

_______Other than the constant war with the North there is one more issue that the Silician government has to deal with. There are a few tribes that live on the border of the north and south who have not aligned with the Silician regime. They are weak in number and still rely on the old ways of hunting for survival. Despite belonging to the Silician Kingdom in territory, they reject the monarchy. The current administration has taken steps to orient them into the society and bring education to them but the haven’t cooperated. They are incorporated in a sort of welfare program that gives them money but in reality they never get it. Instead corrupt officials take it away for themselves and the that only feeds the tribes hate for the administration. They are a people stuck between their roots of culture and history and survival, between the north and south. They are heavily superstitious. Some dislike the kingdom simply because they are nomads and dislike borders and kingdoms in general. Trees, land, and animals should not be controlled the way the kingdoms try to, they believe. However, if asked, the tribes would more quickly side with the Frathien kingdom than the Silician. This is due to the Frathien retaining their looks of the ancient ancestors of the land, while the Silician population has grown to look distinctly different due to the mixing of blood.

〖The Complete Historical Timeline of the Great Frathien Empire 〗 Frathien is power, loyalty, order, discipline, and ruthlessness.

1 - 1800 Scattered History

1 ATGD - The Great Divide
XXXXXXThis marks the beginning of recorded time. PreThe Great Divide or ancient times are indicated by PTGD.
XXXXXXRecords indicate that this catastrophic event may have wiped out hundreds to thousands. The event is recorded with a shaking earth and sky in flame. Mountains grew from the earth and caverns were formed from the event. The exact location of the event is unknown.

1500 - The Fall of the Sandid Empire.
XXXXXXLittle to no evidence remains in regards to the great conquerors who were said to have united the entirety of Asteria. Rumor has it that in the top Northern most part of the continent of Asteria there are records depicting this great Empire. The Sandid Empire is said to have fallen due to betrayal in the ranks of the soldiers. Others claim that the amount of power the single Empire held was too much for the greedy hands who were in charge, and were unable to maintain peace. The tribes under the Empire rule scatter. Thus begins a long period of wars and conquest by others.

1800 - 1890 The Frathix Tribe

1800 - Esquar Frathos (18), becomes tribal leader called the: Lord.
XXXXXXEsquar Frathos is a young man of an ancient tribe: The Frathix. They are known through the land as powerful warriors and the spirit of the crimson woods. Urban legends have spread about them, calling them demons of the night. They are said to be blood of an ancient kingdom for a long time ago (The Sandid Empire). Esquar Frathos claimed that his great grandfather was a Sandid, but these facts can not be traced as true, due to lack of proof. He begins a conquest and conquering of other tribes in the northern lands. Esquar is considered the first great general of the Frathien royals, and his rule marks the beginning of the Frathien Empire.

1812 - Kahmir Frathos (14) becomes the next Lord.
XXXXXXEsquar Frathos is killed in a battle, and his son was Kahmir. Lots of discontent over the decision to have a child lead the battles. He becomes a puppet child. As a puppet child, Esquar's original goals and conquest over the land continues at a fast pace with the families of the tribe facing a disconnect. There are those who want the power all for themselves and those who wish for the tribe to return to their woods in order to no longer interact with others. As such, the possible power and charisma that Esquar Frathos had over the other tribes under their control lessened, despite the Frathix Tribe expanding further.

1818 - Emanel Frathos (30) claims the title of Lord.
XXXXXXKahmir Frathos (20) was killed in his sleep. Emanel is not Kahmir's son but his Uncle, Esquar Frathos’ younger brother. He leads Frathix to become top power in the very Northern part of what will later become known as the Frathien Kingdom. He his a charismatic leader, much like his brother. Unlike his brother, Emanel is better at spreading the good nature of their tribe and bringing other tribes into theirs completely.

1848 - Gavo Frathos (28) becomes Lord
XXXXXXEmanel Frathos dies peacefully however he leaves two daughters but no sons. There is much discourse over who should become the Lord, as none believe either of the two girls should become the Lord. Before the Frathix Tribe can shatter into factions, Gavo claimed himself as Emanel's bastard son. There is no proof to say against and no proof for. However he proves his abilities as a leader. Gavo is the strongest of the village and instead of all out war, declares a competition of the strongest to become the Lord. Hence begins Frathien leaders and strength correlation.

1890 - Farnin Frathos (50) becomes Lord.
XXXXXXGavo abdicated the position of Lord to his eldest son. Immediately after the abdication, Gavo and Farnin are killed in battle. Disputes arise over who should be the next leader. Some claim Gavo a usurper and never a true Frathos. Others side with Gavo and Farnin's multiple children who are at odds. One of Farnin’s sons or Gavo’s other sons. From all these claimants and discourse over their legitimacy the fighting that Gavo had stopped years prior begins once more. No one is able to stop it and thus begins The Frathix Blood Battles.

1890 - 1905 The Frathix Blood Battles

1890 - Tyrin (Son of Farnin) takes the throne.
XXXXXXBy taking the throne, the battles and skirmishes that began stop. He is killed six months later.

1891 - Marqus (Grandson of Gavo) takes the throne.
XXXXXXMarqus's rule creates a divide between the clan. Some believe that he is the rightful ruler and others believe that Tyrin was the rightful owner of the throne. Civil war breaks out. He is killed 14 months after taking the throne.

1892 - Alvis (Son of Farnin) takes the throne.
XXXXXXHe assassinated Marqus in early 1892. He allows for the civil war to continue. He believes that this was only a matter of time and in order to solidify the country, the battles are necessary. He pushes for more bloodshed and is called the First Demon King of the Frathix line.

1895 - Gavin Frathos (Grandson of Gavo) takes the throne.
XXXXXXAfter seven failed attempts, Alvis is finally killed by the Gavo faction. Gavin takes the throne. He tries to stop the fighting, but the fighting only intensifies. The factions have grown. Battles are fought daily, and refugees flee to all part.

XXXXXXThe fighting only creates new tactics and strategies, while solidifying the sword styles of Frathien. The first Sword Masters appear as well as the first Master Tacticians. People train to become Sword Masters in a hope to have an advantage in the battle field.

1897 - Obern Frathos (Son of Farnin) takes the throne.
XXXXXXGavin was killed in battle, and Obern takes over. Obern never stepped foot on to the battle field and was considered weak. He was neither a fighter nor a tactician. Assassinated within 12 months of his accession.

1898 - Kyvrix Frathos (Son of Gavo) takes the throne.
XXXXXXKyvrix was put on the throne by the Farnin faction, as he was on their side and considered a better leader than Obern. He was a great tactician. He was, however, dreadfully ill and passed away 2 years into his rule.

1900 - Kyson Frathos (Son of Kyvrix) takes the throne.
XXXXXXWhile considered a legitimate ruler to most of the kingdom he is despised by just enough to be assassinated 3 weeks into his rule, thus sending the country into fighting once more. The entire palace burns.

1900 - 1905 Unruled period
XXXXXXOver the course of the next five years no one dares lay claim to the throne, without significant backing and considerable war achievements. It is during this time that the Sword Masters who had went into training came out to start fighting. The fighting styles of the Frathien war become more stable. It becomes apparent that the only way that the country will resolidify is if a war general, with a claim to both Gavo and Farnin comes forward.

1905 - 2000 The Formation of the Frathien Kingdom

1905 - Evanna Frathos (45) becomes Lord.
XXXXXXEvanna is one of the few female Lords of the Frathix tribe and "Queens" in Frathien history. Evanna was a brilliant fighter and tactician, though never considered a general. She was brilliant with politics. More so, she was Farnin's granddaughter. Her father was his son and her mother was Emanel Frathos' (the last undisputed Frathos) granddaughter. She claimed the Frathos last name and declared herself Gavo's heir, Emanel's heir, and Farnin's heir.

XXXXXXEvanna remained unmarried but had two sons (28, 25) and a daughter (20). She believed that marriage was a sanctification of weakness and the ancient ceremonies of marriage changed with her. She claimed that if a people were to be married all must know it and a ceremony doesn't always prove that. She was a ruthless and cunning fighter and with her children expanded the Frathos territory.

1930 - Evason Frathos (53) becomes Lord.
XXXXXXEvason is Evanna's first son, and as such is charismatic, ruthless, and a great General. The entirety of the North, up to where the Warstone Palace is, is under their control. They are the first Tribe to have so much land, and not consider themselves a Kingdom. Evason discovers the mining in the mountains and starts to accumulate the wealth that will later become known as the Frathos's Unending Wealth. The Emisitic clan of the Frathos Tribe becomes the “Nobel lords” of the Frathos family in the North. Evason stabilizes control over the West with the help of the Eustachus clan.

1947 - Harkson I Frathos (32) becomes Lord.
XXXXXXEvason hands off Village to his grandson, Harkson I, since his son had died in a battle to capture the location of what is know as the Warstone Fortress today. Harkson goes on to conquer much of the next mountain ranges and establishes their new strong hold in the area of the current Warstone Fortress. He helps solidify the North and those within the territory. Much of his reign was solidifying their Kingdom and their territories. He created multiple treaties and alliances, as well as created a code of law and set of rules for his people to follow. He created the first Fratheien military dedicated to a long standing position, as well as the first network of Lord's spies. The Council of the Lord is changed and adapted to what is more like the Royal Council of today. Trusted advisors to the Lord and only the Lord are on the council, instead of village Elders. Harkson is the first to start referring to the Frathix tribe’s land as a Kingdom.

1977 - Ekien I Frathos (38) becomes Lord.
XXXXXXHarkson hands off Kingdom to Ekien I Frathos, his son. Ekien I Frathos was not a kind ruler. He terrorized those under his rule, but solidly established the foundation for what would become the Warstone Fortress, the impregnable Fortress, in the next five hundred years. Frathein rulers are known to be ruthless in battle but Ekien made it so that all those who opposed him, knew that he would not let it slide. Ekien created the class system between the people that would later be lifted. In this class system, those of the higher caste were considered god chosen and those of the lower were considered cursed. Slaves were introduced based on indentured servitude.

1997 - Ekien II Frathos (33) becomes the Lord.
XXXXXXEkien II killed his father to take the position of Lord. His ascension comes with great joy and jubilation. Some claim that this is the first betrayal of the Frathien curse (As before his time, there was no actual curse, just blood thirsty people) however there is no direct indication that Ekien II was betrayed. Some say that he was betrayed by his lover, but such facts are shrouded in mystery.

2000 - 2015 The Frathien Kingdom is Officially Established (The First Court)

2000 - Ekien II Frathos becomes the first official King.
XXXXXX The news is declared at the celebration of the New Years festival and the turn of the millennia. Ekien II Frathos, combines his names to create Frathien (Frathos and Ekien). He establishes the capital city as Waistar, and the palace as Warstone Fortress. This court is known as the famous First Court.

XXXXXXXXXXEkien II brought about a resurgence in power of the lower class but was unable to erase the caste system that had been put in place. Instead he simply decided to make rules in order to try to move up caste system. This is the beginning of the strong Frathien Militrary and the military Academies that will later form the Academy system.
XXXXXXXXXXEkien II establishes Emisitic and Eustachus as the first two Royal Families other than the Frathos Royal family, due to their close connections over the last near century. Emistic handles the North while Eustachus controls the Western border.
XXXXXXXXXXThe Vortigern Kingdom comes under control of the Frathien Kingdom in 2010, due to a marriage between the families. Vortigern becomes the royal family heading the Eastern border. Expansion continues for Frathien.

2015 - 2100 The Early Years of the Frathien Kingdom

2015 - Lucius I (30) Frathos becomes King
XXXXXX Ekien II abdicates the throne to his second son, unable to trust his first son. Lucius I is considered a useless king. He preferred partying and having multiple love affairs. In truth, however, Lucius was strategically brilliant. His advisors and council never doubted his judgment when it came to battle or how to work with the people. Lucius proved himself in his council chambers letting them take the credit as they pleased, for he did not care. Lucius, instead, plotted to make the royal family true gods in the eyes of the people. His goal was to make the royal family so exceedingly loved by the people that they would never think of retaliation. He reign was short but he successfully did as he planned to do.

2016 - Lapis I (37) Frathos becomes King.
XXXXXXLapis I is Lucius I's older brother. Some claim that this is the beginning of the Frathien Curse, but it is clear that officially before Ekien II there was not clear betrayal, and he killed his own father. Ekien II was also said to be betrayed by his lover but there is no indication of such a thing.

XXXXXXLapis I's take over is hindered by a Lucius loyal council, and a Lucius loyal people. It is only after his take over that those who had rebelled realized just what Lucius had done in anticipation of the bloodshed that was sure to rule Frathien future kings. Lapis is considered a usurper, despite claiming he was wronged by his father, and his Kingdom is thrown into disarray as everyone tries to retaliate against the new king.

2019 - Gavin I (15) Frathos, becomes King.
XXXXXXLapis I killed by his own son Staphon (22) who helped Lucius I’s Son, Gavin I (15), take the throne. Gavin I is on the throne for seven months before Staphon claims himself Regent and exiles Gavin I to the South. Staphon's Regency is considered okay by the people, for Gavin I is considered too young to rule. As time progresses those in support of Staphon claim that the throne should be his rather than Gavin's. This is because Lapis should have been the next King as Ekien II's first son. Staphon successfully names himself King, and Gavin I flees.

XXXXXXStaphon's reign is marked with war from outside tribes, within, and from Gavin. He works together with the higher class to strengthen the caste system and make it nearly impossible to betray their position. War breaks out and many slaves from outer villages are brought into the kingdom for free labor.

2044 - Gavin I (30) Frathos, reclaims the throne.
XXXXXXStaphon (47) was betrayed by his wife, who was a conspirator of Gavin I. She helped Gavin I (30) reclaim the throne along with his other coconspirators. During the coup de'tat, Gavin I appealed to the slaves and lower caste members to remind them that Lapis was not chosen by Ekien, Lucius was. Lucius was a fantastic King and was killed and now the usurper's blood is trying to destroy them all. He was not chosen by the Gods. As if to reinforce this "miracles" and "Gods' acts" occurred with the help of Gavin's planning. Battles that should have been lost were won, and Gavin I proved himself the "Gods' choice." In fact this was all careful planning, strategy, tactic execution, spy information, and a network of escape routes. Gavin I revolutionized Frathien warfare and was backed by the beginnings of the Frathien Sword Masters.

XXXXXXStaphon held to trial and killed after losing successive battles. His trial was a trial of luck and helped to prove that Gavin was the true successor. In later accounts and discoveries, it is hypothesized that the battles and tests were rigged to make Staphon lose. Either way, Gavin successfully takes back his throne proving himself the Gods' King.

XXXXXXGavin I's reign is marked by peace and prosperity but no expansion of the territories surrounding the current Kingdom. He is able to make treaties with many tribes and pull them into his Kingdom but they do not expand land wise.

2056 - Gavin II, takes the throne (17).
XXXXXXGavin I dies and his son takes the throne. As a child in the eyes of the court, Gavin II is considered too young to rule alone. He is given a regent, however he fully disregards the regent and by the time he is 20 has discarded the regent all together. Gavin II starts to expand the territory of the Frathien Kingdom, through wars and conquest. Many dislike him within the upper caste and plot against him, wishing to control his young son who would go to the throne. Power hungry officials begin to plot against him.

XXXXXXIn 2068, Gavin II is betrayed by his guard at a battle against the South (Southern Northerners, not actual Silicion south). His guards are a few of those hoping to be able to control his son as the King. A new regent has been decided in secret, within his council, and Gavin II is left for dead. The capital and entirety of the Frathien Kingdom is put into unrest as his son, Ekien III, is only nine years old. Gavin II, however, did not die. Instead he returns and slaughters all those who betrayed him and all those he thought could. He dies the street in blood. The Royal Council is refined and redefined as a substitute ruler for the King. Should the King ever die, the full council would have to decide on matters together. Many more rules were put into place making it so that only the King could bring new members to the council, as well as the full council had to be in place and filled for a decision to be made. These rules successfully made it so that even if the council wanted to betray each other they would be unable to make any decisions without all of them there. This makes it harder to become corrupt.

2089 - Ekien III (30) takes the throne.
XXXXXXGavin II died peacfully in his sleep. Ekien III was trained to take over for his father and proved himself a masterful ruler and general. He won many battles and during his reign, sucessfully captured the southern area to the stony plains. King Ekien III had four wives, and approximately twenty children. His favorite child, however, was his first born son. He loved his first born son exceedingly and doted on him.

XXXXXXIn 2095, there was an assassination attempt on Ekien III. This attempt was orchestrated by his first son, and in the process of escaping (after failing) Ekien's first son is killed. It is only after he is killed that everyone realizes it was the crown prince and Ekien III goes mad. The remainder of his rule is filled with the wording of a lunatic and crazed decisions. Many wish for the kings death because he is thought to be making a mockery of the crown.

XXXXXXIn 2100, King Ekien III dies without declaring a new heir. Due to this, there is strife over who should take the throne. The period after his reign is known as the bloodied hundred years, as the Frathos family tried to get a hold of the heirs and possible claims to the throne. Other kingdoms in the North start to conspire with the children to help them take the throne, when in fact it is just a ploy to take down the Frathien Kingdom.

2100 - 2206 The Bloodied Hundred Years

XXXXXXUpon the passing of King Ekien III, three factions arose: The Northern Faction, Southern Faction, and Western Faction. The twenty children and close to forty grand children that King Ekien left behind, fall into one of these three factions or plan to take over on their own. At first King Ekien III's second son tries to take the throne and is thus executed. Warstone palace is abandoned by the royal family that falls into this war.

XXXXXXDue to the bloodiness and excessiveness of this ancient time, not much is known or preserved. When taking over new lands the other families would burn texts and histories of the people, making this one of the two least documented periods in Frathien history.

XXXXXXIt is known that during this massive blood battle the entire north, above the Iron Ridge, came under the control of the Frathien crown. Southerners, below the rift, began to claim themselves as Frathien. The three factions became strong against each other, and the Sword Masters solidified their hold and locations in specific areas. Only certain sword techniques could be taught in certain parts of the country and Sword Grandmasters were idolized. The Great Tacticians (Dragons) of the North, South, East, and West formed and became a formal title.

XXXXXXIn order to claim legitimization of the crown, it is decided that the ruler must be like Evanna Frathos before them: a born leader, fighter, political genius, ruthless and charismatic human. Only all of the factions had a different idea of what this meant. A woman and man by the name of Lucinda and Varian Frathos decided that they would create this perfect leader. Varian, as the fourth son of Ekien III started the plot that would take nearly a hundred years to come to fruition.

XXXXXXThe plot was to unite the three factions without them realizing they were united, by creating secret treaties with each one and remaining neutral. While doing this, the family would fight, with masks, for each army at different times raising their status in fighting, and sword mastery. Lucinda taught her children charisma and strength, the empathy needed to be a loving leader. Varian taught them ruthlesness, and coldness able to be a strong leader. They learned politics and passed this knowledge down until 2206.

2206 - 2240 The True Age of The Frathien Empire (The Silver Court)

2206 - King Lucius II takes the throne (19) officially ending the hundred years fight for control.
XXXXXXAfter many years of fighting, Lucius II takes his father's job of uniting the clans after his father had passed away in battle. Due to his father's hard work, he was able to completely unite the factions and prove himself a capable ruler showing them that not only had they been led around by his family for generations, but that if anyone was the heir to the throne it was his family. He let people question it but then silenced them with, not only his most capable warriors, or political skills, but his own power. He proved himself anything but weak. He showed no mercy, killing those who claimed him illegitimate, until the time where all agreed that he was meant to be the true King.

XXXXXXOver the next few years he conquerors southwards successfully claiming all southern territory above the Iron Ridge under the one flag. He reclaims all lost territory, and combines the entirety of the North under one rule. This is the first time the entirety of the North is under the Frathien Rule. The Frathien Empire is declared, due to it's vast territory.

XXXXXXIn 2220, King Lucius II killed his entire council, after discovering how they plotted to over throw him. By overthrowing his council he completely overhauls the Frathien political system, and reevaluates the status of the royal houses - stripping them of their royal status making them mere nobles. He makes plans to give Great Tactician's and Sword Grandmasters a voice.

XXXXXXLucius establishes the beginning of the currently known Frathien demeanor. He was cold, ruthless, and cunning. He idolized strength of the person. Declaring “Victory to the Powerful.” His generation also began to teach their sons to harden their hearts as to not be hurt by the betrayals they would feel and face, other than possible death. Since he had seen, many a good man lose themselves in grief and agony over being betrayed. During his reign it became customary for King's personal soldiers to wear masks, as a sort of remembrance to his past. This custom died out but was revived during King Cybrus' rule many years later, and is still alive today.

XXXXXXKing Lucius II is the King to have established the great full North of Frathien, until the Golden Court with Cybrus I. His court is called the Silver Court. During his reign, the silver Winter Rose became the symbol of the Frathien family, along with the Wolf. The Wolf Symbolized their strength as a pack, and the silver rose as their grace.

2240 - 2320 The Fracturing of the Empire

2240 - Staphire (20) Frathos becomes King.
XXXXXXKing Lucius II dies. His son, King Staphire takes over. Staphire is the youngest of his brothers, but was named crowned Prince after being the only one to take education seriously, and politics seriously. He was married and then betrayed by her as she ran away and disappeared with another man. He claimed that she had been killed but she was never found. Shee left him with no children so it was no big deal for the rest of the Royal council. he does end up having children but in an unhappy marrige. He tries to hold on to the territory of his father but ultimately ends up failing. Lots of the territory East of the Icey River falls out of his hands and back into the hands of other tribes and the likes. All out war breaks out.

2275 - Lapis II (31) Frathos becomes King.
XXXXXXKing Staphire (55) dies and King Lapis II, his son, takes over. He tries to continue the war that started in his father’s generation, but continues to lose more land and territory.

XXXXXXIn 2280, King Lapis II discovered treason. He had been betrayed by a family that he trusted the most. His wife had been of the family and Vortigern. Her family claimed that they would help with the peace but instead helped the rebelling tribes.

2283 - Atello (32) Frathos becomes King.
XXXXXXKing Lapis II (39) is replaced by his younger brother, King Atello. King Atello tries to persuade the rebelling houses and ultimately ends up failing. He loses a lot more of the territory that was once Frathien.

XXXXXXIn the winter of 2296, King Atello is poisoned. Some say the former king Lapis II, still alive, was the perpetrator. It is unclear. Atello survived but was never the same, some claiming he went mad. Atello began a ruthless killing spree, killing all known insurgents. This is known as the Crimson Winter. After this event the Frathien family began the tradition of dying silver roses red, as a sign of victory. He died shortly after from unknown causes, in the spring of 2297. Some believe that this is him being successfully poisoned.

2297 - Severio I (20) Frathos takes the throne.
XXXXXXSeverio I is the nephew of King Atello. Atello had sons, and so many believe Severio to have manipulated his way to the throne. Severio I is able to stabilize their territory that had been dwindling, but is unable to return Frathien to the Empire it was once before. During his rule, many believed that Frathien, like other countries would finally fall. It had been around the longest in the North, thus far, and no one expected it to survive.

XXXXXXIn 2305, King Severio I is betrayed by his first born son, who renounces all claim to the throne and disappears. He and his father were the closest. As Severio had no other sons, the crown had to be handed to his nephew Hetro, who became the next crown prince. This blow was huge to Severio, as there had been no indication of his son deciding to go and then one day he just did.

2320 - 2340 The Formation of Glaistic

2320 - Herto I (25) Frathos becomes King.

XXXXXXKing Cybrus I died (84) and his son takes the throne. King Varin tried to be much like his father to no avail. He was easily deceived by all of those around him, leading to him being known as a puppet King. It was after a great Deception of his closest loyal advisor that he became angry and tyrannical, escalating the war with the south.

2414 - Ocyrus (32) Frathos becomes King.

2455 - 2672 Age of Limited History

— Many betrayals after this point are unknown in nature, but recorded as “betrayed” and “in year XXXX,” as these are the only details that are currently known about the betrayals. These lines follow the King who was just crowned. It is important to note that all Frathien Kings have faced betrayal, but this does not mean they were necessarily betrayed while they were crowned King. From 2455 to 2672, a lot of records are missing. Many believe this is due to the hostile take over in 2672. All that remains are texts that were kept in the same location as all the ancient histories of the family that depict the details above. The Emistic family never found these texts, thus their safety was ensured.

2455 - Ekien IV (54) Frathos becomes King.
XXXXXXKing Ocyrus died at 73. The throne is passed to his son.
XXXXXXKing Ekien IV was betrayed in the year 2445, before taking throne.

XXXXXXDue to his fantastic rule it is said that a King named Lucius will have an epic rule over the Frathien Kingdom. Under his rule a cease fire begins with Silicia.

2650 - Tanzan (55) Frathos takes the throne.
XXXXXXKing Tanzan was betrayed in 2630, before taking the throne.
XXXXXXDies at 75 years of age.

2670 - Tourmal (51) Frathos becomes King.
XXXXXXIn 2672, King Tourmal (51) is killed. This is his betrayal. The entirety of the royal family is killed in a coup de'tat by the Emistic Family.

2672 - 2700 Eristic Rule of Frathien

2672 Arnold Emistic becomes King of Frathos.
XXXXXXDuring this time, many wondered how such an even could occur.
Arnold dies in 2700 and on the coronation of the next king the remnants of the Frathos family struck. With their allies from Glaistic, as well as Vortigern, Dynast, and Eustachus they completely eradicated the Emistic family. The branch family of Emisitc, Erstila, was the one to sell out Emistic. History shows that from the death of King Lapis III on, Emistic was planning on the take over.

2700 - King Erenin Frathos (28) takes back the throne.
XXXXXXKing Erinnin Frathos was the only son of the previous family to escape. He was a baby during the coup d’etat so thus his wet nurse ran away with him. He, however, was physically maimed during the attack an was unable to have a child. As such, the heir had to be picked among the few cousins and relatives of the late crown. Beginning of the War of Cousins.

2700 - 2850 The War of Cousins

XXXXXXIn 2700, while searching for an heir for the king, the King was betrayed by his wife. She fell in love with another man, his cousin. It was not until 2702 that this betrayal was discover, upon the death of the King and the beginning of the war. This war for Frathien was unlike the wars fought before. Unlike before Frathien stood as a united front, but was fractured underneath the surface with cousin killing cousin and brother killing brother. During this time a King was on the throne for perhaps, five years at the most. In order not to cause any form of strife for the people the real identity of the king was masked. The only reason the name changed was to keep the throne seeming legitimate, but in many cases it is the name of the man who took over. He wanted his name as king and fought for it, harder than those who simply became King.

XXXXXXAdditionally during this time the war with Silicia began once more. The men of the royal family flew to battle to prove their right to the throne by fighting to conquer Silicia. This war was inherited by the country as a whole, and blamed on Silicia.

2850 - 2915 The Age of Single Sons

2850 - Ezekiel (45) Frathos was crowned King, ending the War of Cousins.
XXXXXXHis rule began the age known as the Age of Single Sons. Due to the amount of claims to the throne in the last War of Cousins and The Bloodied Hundred Years, the crown declared new statures regarding eligibility to the throne. For Males, they had to be within three separations to the King, if not within the direct line of lineage. (Ex. A King’s brother’s son’s son is eligible). For women after two separations all of their children would not be eligible (A King’s sister’s Son is eligible but his son is not). However in secret, rules were decided in regards to sons. They believed the rules too lenient and began to make sure the queen only had one son. As such the kings were encouraged from this point on, to not have any more children after their first son. In the event that another son was born, the Council would choose which one was the stronger candidate and dispose of the others. He successfully ends the war with Silicia once again, creating peace on the southern border.

2860 - Cybrus III (35) Frathos becomes King.
XXXXXXKing Ezekiel (55) hands throne to son, and decides to go off adventuring. Cybrus III is betrayed in the year 2864. Under the pressure of the Royal Council, he begins another war with Silicia, in order to get more land and resources. This begins the concept that Frathien has the right to Silicia. That same year they are pushed back by Silicia.
XXXXXXCybrus dies at the age of 65.

2890 - Severio II (46) Frathos becomes the King.
XXXXXXSeverio II was the only son of Cybrus III.

XXXXXXSeverio II was betrayed the same year as his crowing. There was a massive attack on a location where the King was supposed to stay, but due to the King’s nature he was late. His personal guard was killed in the attack. (Some speculate that his personal guard spearheaded the attack and was just said to be killed in the attack to save face).

XXXXXXSeverio II died at the age of 56.

2900 - Victor (37) Frathos becomes the King.
XXXXXXKing Victor was King Severio II's only son. King Victor had twin sons. The twins were not picked between (i.e. one wasn't killed as a babe) and the typical rule of first born was emphasized.

XXXXXXIn 2902, King Victor betrayed by his own men who defected to the Silician army, in a skirmish. All on the field were killed. The King learned better than to trust his own men. New military protocols were instigated.

XXXXXXKing Victor dies at 52.

2915 - 2965 The Age of Victoria

2915 - Joseph (29) Frathos becomes the King.

2917 - Elijah (31) Frathos becomes the King.
XXXXXXKing Joseph was killed by his own brother, this is supposed but never proved.

2920 - Victoria (32) Frathos becomes the Queen.
XXXXXXKing Elijah was killed, many believe, by his own sister’s hands. This is never proven. Both his and Joseph’s sons are too young. The only person old enough to rule is their sister Victoria. Instead of becoming Regent, she becomes Queen. Queen Victoria (32), is the only true queen of Frathien. She ruled until Joseph’s son was old enough to rule.

XXXXXXShe, until Amelie, was the only woman to have gained the title of Great Tactician. She was called The Dragon of the North. During her rule, Elijah’s son mysteriously disappears, and Elijah’s line is eradicated. The council became a lot more strict regarding sons for the Kings.

2930 - Kristan (22) Frathos becomes the King.
XXXXXXKing Kristan is Joesph’s son, and officially takes the throne from his aunt peacefully. She leads him as his head advisor until the time of her death. The woman that Kristan loved was killed by his own Aunt, because she wasn’t a suitable match. She was a woman from a Silicon tribe, who had immigrated to the North. Thus begins the harsh protocols on immigrants from the South. These protocols are harsher than before.

XXXXXXIn 2954, the future King Ekien V is left to die in the South by the Royal council as his younger brother was selected as the more suitable king candidate. He was kidnapped and would have died if not for locals who helped him heal. His brother would die in 2956, leaving no heir. Ekien V returned in 2958, after a brutal fight to return back in to the country due to its immigration laws. King Kristan killed the council members responsible.

XXXXXXKristian dies at the age of 57.

2965 - 3017 The Age of Single Heirs (Current Age)

2965 - Ekien V (35) Frathos becomes the King.
XXXXXXWhile this is still the Age of Single Sons, with the take over of Ekien V, there has only been one true heir to the Frathien Throne (i.e. only one child born, a boy. In the times where girls were born, they mysteriously died as a baby. Once a son was born, no more children were conceived.). Thus this age is called the Age of Single Heirs. Should the true heir die, the Frathien line would crumble. Thus it becomes more important for the royal family to protect and train the heirs.

XXXXXXKing Ekien V was killed by poisoning at 40 years of age, when on the southern border. This was a diplomatic mission, and some member of his guard allowed a woman and her child into the room. The woman is the one who killed the King.

2970 - Ekien VI (19) Frathos becomes the King.
XXXXXXKing Ekien VI takes the throne and kills the Guard member responsible for his father’s death. Ekien VI and Ekien V were extremely close, and in order to ensure his own son would not face a betrayal like his, Ekien VI kept Severio III at a distance. This also begins the current era’s tensions with the South. The South claims no connection to the attack. King Ekien VI is said to have begun his planning of the complete conquest of the South and reclaiming Glaistic. Unconfirmed.

XXXXXXIn 3000, Lucien Frathos was born.

3007 - Severio III (34) becomes the King.
XXXXXXKing Ekien VI (56) abdicated the throne to King Severio III.

XXXXXXIn 3012, King Severio III is betrayed by his wife who tries to kill Lucien (alleged).

XXXXXXIn 3015, the ceasefire was broken on the border between the countries officially, after Frathien military spotted Silician military. Unknown as to why the the shots were fired. However it is the claim of some that the Royal Council, Former King Ekien VI, and Severio III created the opportunity in order to begin their invasion into Silicia. This could be in response to the growing water concerns over the control of the river that naturally divides Silicia, Frathien, and Glaistic. Frathien has been said to be aiming for control over the land. There are also rumors that it is in response to assassination allegations, that have never been properly examined. Regardless the ceasefire was broken and Frathien has been preparing all citizens for all out war.

XXXXXX in 3016, Severio III remarried in hopes to break the Age of Single Heirs and to provide a stability for the country in the event that something should happen to Lucien. This is a ploy by Severio III and his father, in order to hopefully strengthen Lucien's rule. While the council and many others would say it only lower's Lucien's claim to the throne, Severio III and Ekien VI believe that it'll help Lucien harden himself. Neither had siblings, and they know the history of siblings in history, but they have hopes of making it so that any younger siblings Lucien may have are completely loyal to him, and will help support his rule. In the early months of 3017, it was confirmed that the new queen was with child.

The Current Year is 3017; Lucien is 17. King Severio III is 44. The previous king, Ekien VI, is 68.

1 - 2320 Scattered History and Frathien History

1 ATGD - The Great Divide

1500 - The Fall of the Sandid Empire.
XXXXXXLittle to no evidence remains in regards to the great conquerors who were said to have united the entirety of Asteria. Rumor has it that in the top Northern most part of the continent of Asteria there are records depicting this great Empire. The Sandid Empire is said to have fallen due to betrayal in the ranks of the soldiers. Others claim that the amount of power the single Empire held was too much for the greedy hands who were in charge, and were unable to maintain peace. The tribes under the Empire rule scatter. Thus begins a long period of wars and conquest by others.

2320 - 2340 The Formation of Glaistic

2320 - King Hetro I (25) takes the Frathien throne. See Farthien and Glaistic History Chapter 2

2321 - Cybrus is Born. A year later King Herto I’s wife, Tilda Emistic, is pregnant again but by his brother.

2322 - King Hetro I exiles his wife, brother, Glevario Bell Eustachus Frathos, and their child to the winter mountains in the region of Glaistic.

2330 - The Great Massacre.

2329 - King Hetro, is killed by Souther bandits who use The Failed Rebellion as a means to kill the King. The rebellion members are freed by King Cybrus.

2340- King Cybrus I officially takes the throne (19). See Farthien and Glaistic History Chapters 3-5

The Icey River Rift occurred when Glaistic infringed upon Frathien decided lands (in the peace agreement that Cybrus made with the rebels after they had attacked)

So. Glaistic was formed by rebels trying to break free of Frathien. King Hetro killed them. They rebeled back in anger. Cybrus freed them and took over. With freedom to do as they wished they started to take more land from Frathien than they were given. Cybrus found out the reason was for Frathien's mines
Well actually Glaistic was made when King Hetro kicked out his brother and wife, because they betrayed them. They were a happy little family, but others followed them. Those others convinced them to declare a country and those others were greedy by nature having been stripped of their royal family status only a few years prior. Then when Hetro retaliated and killed his brother and wife, they were like "well that's awful." took revenge, and then when given their freedom, tried to take more land in line with their original goals. I'll expand more on this for the little stuff that I'll be doing for the Glaistic section.

2340 - 2430 The Stabilization of Glaistic

2345 - Icey River Rift and The Second Great Massacre.

2250 - The Rumored Affair of King Cybrus I. New rule: "...nobles are not dominant partner. Whoever is chosen by the future ruler of Frathien cannot be changed by any law." This begins the Golden Age of Frathien, See more In The Golden Court

2414 - King Ocyrus (33) takes the Frathien throne. See Farthien and Glaistic History Chapter 6

2415 - Glaistic’s First True King, King Erlend Crad Glistar is born

1 - 2130 Scattered History and the Ever War

1500 - 2130 The Ever War.
XXXXXXWhile the North was having its own internal strife, the southern lands fall into chaos and bloodshed. They end up divided and forever at war with each other. This period creates not only strife but an inability to move northern. There is a continuous rise and fall of kingdoms and empires, without any kingdom being able to survive for very long. Little history of this time survives.

2130- 2190 The Beginnings of Silicia

Young fair and able youth of just 20 from across the sea comes to visit Astria and discovers is land and its people. He is a noble born, but was assisting some rich merchants, prividing them strategy for better sail routes.

He gets involved in a local skirmish. He also wakes up to the tribal mess. He is almost killed during an encounter, and his betrothed Armeya (the merchant's daughter) is taken prisoner by the tribal lord.

He vows to come back and take revenge. He comes back and defeats the tribal lord with a small troupe but his to be wife was already taken in in the tribal family. He marries her nonetheless but doesn't feel his anger is quenched.

He continues to conquer the rest of the tribal and bandits in the vicinity he has two children from that marriage, Wistal (boy) and Arcantia (girl), within a gap of 3 years.

He returns to his home after a few years of successful annexation and seriously considers to give up his revenge and actually do something for the people of the land beyond the sea. Charlotte, his distant cousin inspires him to do so. He would marry her later and take her in as his second wife after she gives birth to his second daughter, Emerita.

Meanwhile, his first wife receives much criticism and character assassination when they visit their homeland. Stress gets the better of her and her condition worsens by the day. Arcantia and Wistal discover a whole new world having only seen natives of the land beyond the sea. They start their education in their 'father's land' but it is short lived as they have to return back to what Lucifer's folks now call Silixion's land.

His 'land' was under attack, so he returned with more forced, more strategy and Charlotte.

The journey back proved to harsher than expected and his first wife became bedridden. Charlotte took care of her. The women knew they were in love with the same man. Armeya had resigned already to her fate. What worried her was the fate of her children. (Arcantia stayed back in Lucifer's homeland, but it was tough to survive with the rumours floating that she wasn't lucifer's real daughter. But the worst was saved for Wistal)

Armeya knew that at the rate at which Lucifer was conquering the lands, the talks of forming a whooe new country wouldnt be too far off. What if her children were banished from this new country then? Charlotte shared Armeya's worries with Lucifer when he once returned from capturing two new islands to his territory and was to match northwards....

The next day the two Islands were named Wistals (I and II in honour of his first son). Wistal remained in the island and took care of the port activities from there as well as took care of his ailing mother. Before Armeya drew her last breath, she had Charlotte (who was almost her own daughter's age) promise to look after Arcantia and Wistal.

By then it was established that Silixion's territories were more than just pieces of land. They were united under ideals and policies that looked after the people. Arcancia, after returning from completing her education, helped her father in formulating these policies. Emerita on the other hand interacted more with the local people to understand their problems. She would travel far and wide within the realm and note what issues lay before them in uniting the tribes together.

The two women were a forced to be reckoned with, along with Wistal's clever management of finances and trade. All Lucifer had to do is keep marching onward and conquering more lands.

On 2185 they set up their base in a small fortress they had conquered in the South eastern forests and a major war between bandits and the Silician forces broke out. Lucifer won this battle with strategy and patience and soon the bandits surrendered. The tribal lord, who was so far troubled with the bandits, chose Lucifer as his King, and the fortress as his castle. Few years from them, Zenith, the Palace would be build and reformed many times over since then.

Ten years from then 'Queen Charlotte' breathed her last as well while giving birth to Prince Charles (Lucifer's youngest son). After Charlotte's death, Lucifer became quite aloof of worldly affairs. He receded to Zenith, and relied on his younger brother and children to manage the land.

Charles mostly grew up in the island estate of Wistals under his brother's tutalage. On 2205, before breathing his last, Lucifer made it very clear that Charles would 'Rule' the kingdom along side his other children and their family. Until he was of the age, Lucifer's brother (still fucking need a name) was to be regent but he cannot take any major decision without a yes from all three of his children.

2205 - 2283 Formal Formation of the Silician Kingdom

2205- Lucifer dies (Charles is 5)

2210 -Lucifer's brother declares himself king

2235- Charles wins back 'Grand King Lucifer's kingdom' Assigns Arcantia as the minster of Occupation, Wistal and later his son as the Finance Councillor, Emerita as the Foreign Affairs Personel (also defence strategist) While he himself took charge of governing the existing lands.

2250 - The Royal Family Structure was set in place and families - Emeretti, Arcancas, Charlemagne and Wistallia were born

2283 - 2337 Charlemagne Dynasty

2283 -His son Charles II Charlemagne took over

2300 - Charles II claims SILICIA as the Kingdom, and unites several other tribal and smaller regional lords under the banner of Silicia with Grand King Lucifer's Motto - 'In Wisdom Is Strength'.

2337- Charles II dies after 54 years of reign. Charles II had a son named Ryan. Ryan was a sickly boy, who died soon after his wife (Keifer- Von - Emeretti) gave birth to Charles II's grandson. (2335).

As his rightful heir, the grand son, was just 2 years old, and the newly formed kingdom needed a dependable ruler, the throne went to Lazarus (Avery) Arcancas (Ryan's cousin in relation), who also commanded good political influence thanks to his great, grand mother, Lady Arcantia.

It must be noted that though Lazarus was an Arcansas, his father's family name was Avery. Avery was the last name of a traveling artist, who Arcantia had married. He was an affluent native of the land, who travelled beyond the sea in pursuit of knowledge. His features were distinct from the sandy haired Arcantia. He had brown hair and hazel eyes. His children later inherited his dark hair and her blue eyes. Lazarus too had brown hair and blue eyes.

The king and queen then had a daughter and a son, to whom the crown went to after Lazarus died at 68. (he was 45 when he came to the throne).

2360 - 2459 Arcansia Dynasty

2360 - His son Lemar Arcansia became the next king. Lemar had married an affluent noble family's daughter who were not a direct line from King Lucifer. His children had brown hair and hazel eyes, a dominant trait in the Avery family.
2407 - Lemar dies. Thus came an end to the Arcansas' claim to the throne as the suitable candidates were either too old or hand married local folks and settled down. The closest was the Emeretti boy who's grand mother (Keifer Von) was married to Ryan Charles II Charlemagne (S).

2417 - A new rule was introduced: The royal children must take in partners from 1 of the three remaining royal noble families only. Marrying second cousins was allowed. All the immediate family of the ruling family - Saroza Emeretti and Heather (Wistalia) Emeretti and their children-- adopted the title SILIXION, to identify their lineage linked with grand King Lucifer and their 'Royal Blood'. Their children too adopted the same Surname. Their grand kids too inherited the surname of Silixion, regardless of whom their children had married and which family's surname they had taken. The royal kids (be it from the mothers side or from the father's side) and their descendants henceforth had the surname Silixion. Although it wasn't a law but from then on those having the Surname of Silixion had a stronger claim to the throne regardless of how they looked or if they were directly in line of power or not.

2459 - 2557 Emeretti First Dynasty

2459- Saroza Emeretti Silixion dies and passes down the throne to youngest son Welhelm Emeretti Silixion (24).

2519 - Saroza dies passing his throne to his second child and only son Rayan Emeretti Silixion (48).

2557 - Rayan dies at 86, leaving the throne to his grand child Ondal Wistalia Silixion (his youngest daughter Serina Emeretti Silixion's only son. Serina had married Jaycob Wistallia Silixion, her second cousin from mother's side).

2557 - 2807 Wistallia Dynasty

(250 years of Wistallia rule) --- Brings us to year 2807. (Will add the details of kings in Wistallia dynasty later)

2807 - 3017 Emeretti Second Dynasty (Current Era)

2807- Teskar Emeretti Silixion comes to power at the age of 30. He inherits the war that had started during the Wistallia rule as the last 4th generation Wistal was laid back and mostly concerned himself with scientific progress rather than warfare. he hadn't secured the borders. War breaks out severely during Teskar's rule and the sudden shock to the nation also prompts several civil unrests too.

2867 - Teskar passes away leaving his throne to the 43 year old Oscar Emeretti Silixion who was already ailing from an illness. Civil unrest because out and out rebellious in the north east region. War breaks out with Frahtien. The Charlemagne brothers rise to power with their subjugation of the north eastern rebellion through clever negotiation. Alexander Charlemagne becomes a hero after winning the border war with Frathien, pushing them back into north, beyond the mountains. After he returns, Oscar marries his daughter to him, and crowns him the King.

Alexander's eldest son Auroborus calms down the economy and political situation. After his eldest son comes of age, several changes are made to the revenue structure on his advice. His youngest son on the other hand inherits his father father's valour and succeeds brilliantly in subjugating multiple attacks on the borders as well as possible pirate attack down south. When the borders become bloody again after cease fire violation in the northern borders once again, the two princess are sent to take care of the situation.

2898- Artemis, the eldest had earlier befriended Glaistic's king through trade and later other share of resources. Through Glaistic's king a cease fire is once again restored and wars stop. Jewel is born the same year.

3002 - Artemis becomes the king.

3004- Jack is born

The Current Year is 3017; Jewel is soon to enter her 20th year. King Artemis is 48.

「Chapter 1: Roses」

XXXXXXFlame Roses and Frost Roses are two entirely different species that adapted to the different regions on the continent. Flame Roses grown in warmer temperatures and are bright and vibrant, variants of the colors red and yellow. Frost Roses grow in cooler temperatures and are cool toned. In the two species there are many separate breeds.
XXXXXXPurple roses are common along the border of the North and the South, however only Light Purple grow in the south and Dark Purple grow in the North. These color distinctions where a sign for invaders and refugees that they had made it across the border of the countries.

The Frathos King’s Curse

_______While the curse is mostly just a rumor to most, the royal family and those who are close to the royal family know the truth. Throughout the near entirety of the Frathos’s history there has been a curse of betrayal placed upon the family. The King will always be betrayed by the one who he trusts most. This betrayal has come in the form of affairs, treasonous activities, corruption, assassination attempts, turncoats and spies, and always results in death. The Frathos King has not died as a result of the betrayal in many a recent year, but the one who betrayed always has. Furthermore the Frathos King has had to kill the betrayer with their own hands, always. Also important to note that the Frathos King, may bave been betrayed before he took the throne. Thus the saying goes, "Not all Frathos Kings will be betrayed, but betrayal will face all Frathos Kings." (To say that all Frathos Kings will see betrayal before or during their rule, but not all Frathos betrayals happen during their rule)

_______These betrayals have caused the Frathos’ Kings to change, in the way they raise their sons, and view the world. All Frathos’ Kings are born kind and gentle, but they are raised to be strong with a heart made of steel in order to survive the heart break the curse will cause them. While not all betrayals the Kings have faced are known, there are a few powerful ones that changed history.

The First Court

_______King: King Ekien II

_______Changes to Frathien Culture:
____________The Beginning of the Frathos Curse
_________________ Ekien II killed his father Ekien I, who was considered a cruel and ruthless King. In killing his father some believe that this was the first betrayal of the Frathien Curse. There is no proof that Ekien II was ever betrayed, however. Per the records, it is clear that Ekien II had a lover before his wife. She is written little of and after her disappearance (some records say she was murdered, some say she ran away) Ekien II was never the same.

____________A True King is for the People
_________________Regardless if whether Ekien II began the Frathien curse, it is clear that he began the trend of the Frathos line being willing to kill for the throne. Additionally this created the mindset for the people that if the King kills for the throne but it is not for them, he is a worthless usurper and not the true King. This mindset was derived from Ekien II killing his father to liberate their country from his tyranny.
_________________ This mindset would later evolve into the One People, One Blood mindset that currently is within the current Frathien. It also will lead to an acceptance of brutal family murders and that the Frathos family is the only true Royal family.

____________Resurgence of the Lower and Middle Class
_________________During the reign of Ekien I, a caste system was put in place tying people to the land and lowering the status of people to cattle and product. Slaves were created from the captured lands and given nothing while everything was taken from them. This caste system was implemented by a Royal Council and King who wanted nothing more than to create a Kingdom of the Elite. As such, many of the upper class citizens agreed, while the remaining middle and lower class citizens bowed their heads.
_________________Ekien II abolished slavery, only a few short years after it had been created. However, he was unable to abolish the caste system put in place due to the push pack by those on top. Instead of allowing the caste system to flourish and strengthen itself, Ekien II took measures in order to essentially dismantle it. He hoped that his predecessors would be able to abolish it in the years to come thanks to his attempt at dismantling it. The measures he took are called, loosely translated today, the Severance Accords.
_________________The Severance Accords are a set of rules created in order for people to move up and down within the caste system. While it was a rarity for those of the upper class to be forced into the middle class or lower, the system was in place for it to happen. These exact rules have no barring on the current Frathien while their results have created a massive system of systems, ideals, and concepts that persist to the current age. This includes: One People, One Blood, power of the Frathien military, and The Academy System.

____________The Academy System
_________________The Academy System of old is far different than the massive Academy system of today. In fact the Academy System of this time can hardly be called the same system that it is now. The Academy System of this time was created solely for the purpose of creating a strong military. At this facility men, for it was only men at the time, could train in order to move themselves or their entire families, up in the caste system. Being a part of the military was one of the many ways in which one could move up in society. However it was also dangerous, and essentially a one way to death. As such an Academy called the Royal Academy, was created in order to train soldiers to be better fighters. More military academies would rise and fall for the next thousand years but only the Royal Academy would remain standing as one of the official Academies of the modern era.

____________Power of the Frathien Military
_________________With the advent of the military academies soldiers could be trained to fight better. Additionally fight tactics, formations, and strategies changed to accompany the changing training of the soldiers. During this time, weapons also began to change and evolve. For the Northern lands these academy trained military men were considered the most dangerous beings to walk the earth. They were trained to kill and to do it without a care. Some question the practices used to make the military so emotionless and historians today believe that some may have even been dolls (corrupt through torture until they lost themselves). There are no records to prove any such claims.

____________Creation of Other Royal Families
_________________Emistic, Eustanchus, and Vortigern are declared Royal Families, with the ability to take the throne in the event that a Frathos is unable to do so. Ekien II decided to create additional Royal Famalies in order to strengthen his allies as he dismantled a system that they supported. He gave them more power as he tried to liberate the people. In turn he began the creation of the Cardinal Families, who control the borders.
______________________The Emistic family was the first to be declared a Royal family. Having had the longest background with the Frathos family it seemed only right for them to become the first of the additional Royal Families with a claim to the throne. As a major ally they were needed in order to even convince the other families of the legitimacy of Ekien's claim that they would receive more power. The Emistic family became the rulers of the North, and are known for their skills in pioneering and crafting of soldiers.
______________________ The Eustanchus was the second family, and only family to join for a while. They became the rulers of the Western Border, and are known today as the history keepers of the Frathien Kingdom. Some claim that out of the current four Royal Families the Eustanchus is the most loyal to the Frathos Royal Family, despite some of the disorder they have caused. It is thanks to this family that scholars can be trained and history was preserved. Eustanchus as a family may not have been as close to the Frathos Family as the Emistic was, but they were the most fascinated and kept the best records when the other families cared little.
______________________In 2010, the Vortigern Kingdom comes under the control of the Frathien Kingdom with a peaceful marriage of the families. In order to appease their treaty, the Vortigern family becomes the fourth official Royal Family of the Frathien Kingdom. The Vortigern Kingdom was the Kingdom of the East and marks the most Eastern border of Frathien today. After the take over of the Kingdom Frathien is able to expand even further into the lands controlled by Glaistic today. Much like the current Era, the Voritgern family became the rulers of the east and those on the front of the Eastern border and expansion. The Vortigern family is known for their negotiation and skill with metal crafting.

____________A True King is for the People a Revitalization
______________________Upon the crowning of Lucius the II the masses found out about the generations of hard work that had been passed down father to son, mother to duaghter, for generations. This exposure was on purpose to help solidify Lucius II's rule. At first many of the factions still held beliefs that their own should be king but as the people began to turn the richer upper class had to as well. The family calimed that they were doing well for all the people and claimed that only the true heir's family would have ever done such a thing. The explanation was bought.

____________Demeanor of a King
______________________ Lucius' demeanor has left a significant impact on the way that culture and the people view the kind into the current era. Lucius II was known for being skilled in many aspects from fighting to politics. He was charismatic and created fear, with the fiercest of loyal subjects and protectors. Despite all of this when he was questioned or attacked, Lucius took the attack head on himself. He showed no weakness, no mercy, and no pain. This created the ideal that the King is the most powerful being on the planet, additionally that he is the closest to a god out of all mortals. The King must be cruel and he must be kind. he must he a natural leader, charismatic, ruthless and without weakness. He must have pride but humility, merciless and merciful. The King must be a skilled politician and fighter, not one over the other. Above all else the King never bleeds, never cries, never sick, and is never in any pain. While most of these, exceedingly high, standards can be attributed to the front that Lucius II put on, most have evolved from their original to the way they are today.
______________________ As such the children of the king were trained to be the same way, thus begins the training of the princes. This training involves all aspects of life, much like Lucius' family trained him. It also includes training to harden ones heart from betrayal. Despite it not being completely known at this point, the curse of the kings was hypothesized by a few into the occult and Lucius II believed them. He started the training against betrayal for his sons, and with good measure. This training saved the country from a lot of strive for the betrayals to come.

____________Royal Changes
______________________ Royal Council: In 2220, Lucius II killed his entire council. The Council had been plotting to over throw him and without much care he murdered them all. He went on to completely overhaul the political system. he made it so that the Council was more than just political leaders of the Royal families but that they had more merits that simply that. The council was only five people, but quickly grew to five standard Council members and up to twenty voices. The King's voice would be above all else but other voices were added to create more of a balance between the royals, the upper class, and the masses. Noble Orders, Political leaders, Religious leaders, and Generals got voices at the table, where they had been silent before. The Royal Families still had their voices but they were to longer be royal families.
______________________ Royal Families: The Frathos family remained a royal family but Lucius II declared them the only royal family. The other three royal families were made into Noble Families and in the event of an emergency they could take over. Much of their power was reallocated to the Royal family. Much of their influence was taken and changed. Lucius would not allow for the Frathien Empire to fall out of Frathos' hands. This would upset most notably the Vortigern and Emistic families, to the point where the Emisitic family would take over the country a little more than two hundred years later. This, additionally, is one of the reason that the country started to fracture into Frathien and Glaistic. However, the measure was necessary in order to help solidify the country under one voice and one name. The Eustanchus family full heartedly supported the move.
______________________ Royal Guard: The Royal guard was starting to take form as it is now. A body guard was made to be by the kings side with a personal guard he could call to follow him when necessary. During his reign it became customary for King's personal guard to wear masks, as a sort of remembrance to his past (when his family wore masks to protect their identities in the war). This custom died out but was revived during King Cybrus' rule many years later, and is still alive today.

____________Noble Orders
______________________ Sword Masters and Grandmasters
______________________ Great and Master Tacticians
______________________ These two orders were declared official orders of the King after their great contributions in the Bloodied Hundred Years. The processing to become a part of either of the two orders became more strict and formed into titles of prestige. This was exceedingly true for Master Tacticians and Sword Grandmasters. There can only be four Master Tacticians at a time: The Dragon of the East, West, North, and South. To become one of these titles takes training, practice, and proof of ability. For Sword Masters it would take years of training and mastery of the forms but to be a Grandmaster meant to be the strongest in the country. While there have been multiple Grandmasters at a time, in the current era there have been none. For more information see Noble Orders (Chapter 5).

____________Demeanor of Frathien as a People
______________________ With the changes to the King the people started to emulate. At first the people had taken fighting and the military as a way for them to move up in the broken caste system that still was in place. Now, the people took up the military, and fighting, as a show of strength and pride. "We are Frathien. We are strong." The people began to become more cruel, ruthless, prideful, and power hungry. They began to become fierce to a fault like a pack of stray dogs. It would take time for the people of Frathien to become what we would call wolves today, or demons as the southerners would say.

____________Victory to the Powerful
______________________ This motto comes about during this time. Lucius II is not oblivious to the changes occurring within his people. Fearing another outburst of war with the new mentality, he gives a speech at a festival years after he is crowned King. In this speech he urges the people to stay as a unit, as one people. "Victory comes to the powerful, but only when the powerful stand united." He ends his speech as such, but due to poor communication and recording skills most of the speech is lost. What remains is Victory to the Powerful, the motto of Frathien. The people take this as a sign that the whole country must be powerful, and that they are victorious because they are powerful. It starts a massive resurgence in the people striving to be the best and most powerful. This only aids to create a strong Frathien military, but fails to address the growing fracturing in the country.

____________Symbols of the North
______________________ Victory to the Powerful: As stated above, the lines become etched into the very fabric of Frathien culture.
______________________ Silver Winter Roses: The Silver Winter Rose was Lucius II's symbol. It is the reason his court is called the Silver Court. The flower became the symbol of Frathien for two reasons. One is shows beauty and grace, which Frathien people believed themselves to be, but it also showed cruelness and ruthlessness. A silver winter rose blooms in the harshest of climates and environments. It is resilient and beautiful at the same time. The Silver Rose is Frathien.
______________________ Wolf: The Wolf, while not a complete symbol yet, became a part of Frathien culture. The Frathien people became more like packs sticking to each other and Lucius capitalized on this to say, yes we are individuals but we are one family. The wolf is also beautiful, majestic, cruel, and powerful. It represents the ideals of the people and thus the people accepted the animal as their mascot. Wolves thus became revered and worshiped. To this day, due to the changes in the mindset of people from simple fear to fear and reverence, the wolves of Frathien's lands seem to have a sort of pact with the humans. There is a bond between the species more like equals than pets and masters. It is said that a wolf may not know a Frathien child, but will protect it like its own in times of need.
______________________ Flag: The first Frathien flag is made. It is different from the current flag, in that it was silver and white.

____________Unified Language and Education
______________________ After a failed attempt at peace, Lucius realized that the formal reason for the failure was the lack of a formal language, with the help of the Eustanchus family the official language is created. Osterign had always been the language of the Frathos clan, but it had evolved and shifted over the years to something very foreign from the original language. Only the Eustanchus family had the record keeping available to not only show this change in language but to track it and help revitalize the language. A standard writing system and alphabet was made. Words were standardized and the first dictionaries were formed. There were still no form of mass production printing, and so those who became professional scribes were idolized and paid a grand sum. Lucius, however, wanted this knowledge to be wide spread and put his best minds into creating the technology to create masses of text quickly. The Frathien printing press would be invented ten years after Lucius' death.
______________________ Additionally, Lucius started to set up a mandatory public education system in order to teach reading, writing, and skills that all Frathien civilians should have. This education system was never implemented but its cores, values, and mandated study were taken by King Cybrus and implemented years later. Lucius II formally made sure that the Eustanchus family continued to keep the records, however the records were moved location to a secure facility that only the family and the king knew about. This would be a secret. Instead a formal library was made with copies of the archives and a formal department for history keeping was formed. This department would have the job of recording all documents. A specialized division would be added in secret to copy these files and to add them into the formal hidden archive.
______________________ It is now known that this secret process was taxing and difficult on those who had to do the copying. They prioritized certain documents over other ones and often they would fall behind. It is for this reason that the Age of Limited History exists. Of the few documents that exist from that time, it is clear that with the hostile take over the scribes took to finalizing everything they could up to a specific king. It is hypothesized that with the take over the scribes put everyone to work on a specific reign copying everything that could be copied, while one other went and marked the highlights of each reign as quickly as they could. It is for this reason that starting with Ekien IV almost nothing is known about his reign or the world around him, but just a few years prior the weather is known for each day. The Eustanchus family completely changed their way of record keeping in order to make sure such an event never occurred again.
______________________It is during this time that the academy system starts to take route for more of what it looks like in the current age, and by the time Cybrus officially makes it in the Golden Era. More schools within the few academies that exist begin to form. These schools are on more things than just simple soldier training. They are on tactics and strategy, as well as different types of fighting as well. The Academies are built as formal buildings. The Royal Academies building is the most massive and takes the longest time to finalize. It's size is considered comparable to the castle of Warstone Fortress. Thus it becomes the first line of defense of the city.

The Golden Court and the Golden Era of Frathien

_______Changes to Frathien Culture:
____________Symbols of the North
______________________ Red Alder Trees: It is at this time that Red Alder Trees became a symbol for those who fear Frathien. The Red Alder Tree sheds it's red leaves in the winter, creating what often can be seen as rivers of blood as one approaches Warstone Fortress. Up until this point in history there is little mention of the trees other than for festivals and religious purposes. Those who fear Frathien spread rumors that the leaves were the blood of the victims. Using this mentality Cybrus declared that the "trees were the ancestors and souls of those who died on the land, enemies and allies. The blood of Frathien runs deep into the past and no soul should ever forget." He effectively turned a smear campaign into a sign of power and this sign of power and spirituality continues on to today. If one were to ask the average Frathien citizen what happens to a Frathien soldier who dies on the field, they would say a tree grows with their soul.
______________________ Painting Silver Roses Red: In order to solidify the image of power and beauty with red, Cybrus began to paint their silver roses red with a paste made from Red Alder leaves. This practice first came about after Cybrus was betrayed. Cybrus, who was called the second silver rose (in relation to LuciusII) was almost killed. "The silver rose was dyed in blood, but the silver rose shall never die." Cybrus dyed all the silver roses in the castle red, to signify those that had been lost and that while Frathien's people were like the silver rose, they could survive being bathed red. The practice is often still used for when soldiers go off to war. Families will dye roses red in a way of saying, "my child shall not die." When the country declares war red roses hang for three days from the entirety of Waistar City, and when peace is declared silver roses hang.
______________________ Crimson and Silver National Colors: With the new found identification of red as a color of Frathien, it is named a National color along with silver. "Silver like the cruel and ruthless, like the chill of the winds of the sharp peaks. Red like the blood that runs in our bodies, and across our lands. From now until forever. Victory to the Powerful dyed silver and red." Later on the color red would be reclassified as crimson, as red is later considered a weaker color word. As Frathien stands for the powerful the more powerful word for red was chosen: Crimson. Red and silver are often seen as the colors of the King and the King is often dressed in this color.
______________________ New Flag: With the update in colors the flag was adapted to reflect the new colors. The original flag, much like Glaistic's today, had silver roses on it, but those were eliminated as the red and silver already represented the roses in a more true and honest way. Instead the lone wolf remains on the flag, reminding the people and Frathien's enemies, that Frathien stands united.

____________Royal Changes
______________________ Cybrus' New Rule on marriage: "...nobles are not the dominant partner. Whoever is chosen by the future ruler of Frathien cannot be changed by any law." This allowed for the Kings to be able to choose who they want to wed, and should they choose a commoner or someone the council doesn't approve of, it can not be disputed. This allows for freedom of marriage, as well as lessens the power of the other Noble families even more, saying that their blood isn't needed to run the country. This is a direct jab at the families who had members that directly attacked Frathien with the Glaistic rebellion.
______________________ Royal Guard: This begins the official formation of the Royal Guard that exists today. The Royal guard consists of seven members: two teams of three, and the King or Prince's Body guard. In order to ensure the King or Prince's safety, all six are typically "required" to be with the Prince or King at all time. In times of peace or in safe locations, this is not necessary. In most cases, however, this is not possible. Thus it is actually that at least three if not two are required to be by the King or Prince's side at all times. In extreme cases this can be one: the King or Prince's personal body guard. The requirement keeps the body guard there at all times but the other six members can rotate. This is to ensure the safety of the Prince or King from inside attacks of even his most trusted protectors. This also marks the time where masks are once again added to the members of the King and Prince's guard. The only people who should know the identity of who is on the Royal Guards should be the Royal Council, the King, the Prince, and other Royal Guard members. This means that the King's Royal guard knows who the Prince's Royal Guard is and vice versa. The masks also aid for when the members go undercover. In recent years the strict "in the know" policy of who can know the identities of the Royal Guard has weakened and often everyone in the royal castle knows. Royal guards have also become much more loyal in recent years, however, so this seems to be hardly a problem.

____________Formal Abolishment of the Caste System
______________________After many long centuries, King Cybrus I is able to formally abolish the caste system within Frathien and formally erase the Severance Accords from Frathien culture. While the Noble Families still exist, this allows for other families to rise and fall within rank much more easily. This allows for people to grow and change their status more easily. It also holds the people and the Noble Families accountable. While the structure was already falling apart by this time due to the Glaistic rebellion, its formal erasure marks an important point in Frathien history. This abolishment gave rise to many systems: Arts, Economics, and Education.

____________Arts, Literature, and Technology
______________________ With a new found power in the person, Frathien citizens begin to create, trade, and capitalize on story telling. This marks the Golden Age's true birth. Arts flourished as did literature, and technology. In order to keep up with the demand for content, the Frathien printing press and mass printing medium became a bit more wide spread. Academies were created in order to teach the arts of painting, sculpting, metal work, weapon creation, and music. Stories of old Frathien culture were passed down and in truth this helped with historians, with being able to tack back records of legends and to decipher truth in propaganda in their historical records. Other technology was formed, in the form of new weapons, protections, and transportation. Medicine, and Language evolved during this time. This is especially true for language. The language that had been solidified in Frathien was finally being adapted, and adopted by all citizens. Dialects and secret languages were created for the military, and coding became a major change for how things were planned. Books became wide spread and the country flourished.
______________________ During the Age of Limited History much of this art and literature was lost resulting in Frathien disregarding art all together. In modern Frathien art and technology are little more important than for tools of communication and war. These two features of their society are not seen for the culture they can bring and advancement except for in the element of war. There are little to no story tellers besides those who sing the songs or tell the stories of Frathien's history. Literature is limited to books on strategy, tactics, and history. Physical art such as paintings and sculptures are made only for the likeness of the gods of the Frathien Kings and their histories. Even then, there are little of them made and very few specialize in arts in any way.

____________Economic Prosperity
______________________ With all the new art, literature, weapons, and language, trade began to blossom. Additionally, it is during this time that the Frathien mines were rediscovered and the Frathien wealth was resecured. Frathien's growth stemmed from the inside out, and the people began to feel like the world was bathed in gold like, on the silver peaks and red lands. This is where the Golden era got its name. However, instead of becoming greedy, King Cybrus made it so that the mining was tempered. He knew that all good things came to an end and knew better than to think the gods had delivered him something ceaseless. He'd learned of betrayal. He'd learned of disappointment. He knew to adapt their country slowly, and in ways to make sure that the wealth would continue into the future. "Frathien is not just today, Frathien is forever."

____________Unified Education
______________________ Public Education: Public education became wide spread and mandatory for all citizens, regardless of their provocation. This means that the entirety of Frathien is now literate and capable of defending themselves in the event the military falters.
______________________ Academy System: Four new Academies appear in the east, west, north, and south. The Academy System as it is today begins to form, with multiple academies within each Academy forming. New Academies for the arts are built as well.

____________Unified Identity
______________________ Resurgence of Victory to the Powerful: This ideal is reformed when Cybrus quotes his forefather "Victory comes to the powerful, but only when the powerful stand united." only with books, a unified language, and a literate population the entirety sticks.
______________________ Wolf Pack Mentality: After Cybrus' legend of survival spread, the people began to see power as everything once more however, instead of being divided as before they stand on a united front. All of Frathien is a single wolf pack and the lands are bathed in the blood of their history. While not everyone subscribes to this mentality, it has allowed for a lowering in lying, and the rise of the current marriage system. A honor code is the Frathien way. Why lie, cheat, steal, and destroy without reason. The country becomes loyal to its King, and loyal to its land. Outsiders are questioned.

____________Equality of Gender
______________________ This is the first time in the history of Frathien that women are given, encouraged, and in some ways forced to have an equal education to men. Cybrus wished for the whole of Frathien to be literate and able to defend themselves, this meant women as well. With this new wave of education women demanded equal treatment in many things, from having their own autonomy, to being able to do the things that men and the likes could do. This became a major political question whether to trust women in the military, mining, or hard labor jobs. Cybrus declared that if a women could do the job as well then there should be nothing to stop her. "A Frathien women is Frathien itself. She is a wolf. She protects her land, her blood, and her kin. A Frathien bleeds the same silver and crimson as any man." The women's section of the military was formed. Academies opened their doors to women. While women are still considered weaker in many regards, they became the controllers of the public sector, from food, agriculture, trade, history, medicine, and teaching. It is said that in the time of Cybrus there were no weaker jobs, for all jobs were necessary for the growth and stability of the country. To this day there is a stigma around the so called "weaker jobs" of teaching, agriculture, and the arts. This stigma is that they are necessary for the strength of Frathien, but they are not hard to work. Especially in the case of arts, which rarely anyone works for these days.

____________A New Peaceful Empire
______________________ This is pretty self explanatory. During the majority of the Golden Era, Frathien is at peace with itself and with Glaistic. This is, however, not a completely true statement. Under Cybrus' rule the war with the south does begin, but the population embraces it as a way to expand the empire that was already thriving and growing so well.

____________Lasting Impact
______________________ To this day Frathien remains a massive mining power, with power in the hills of gems and gold. Much of the art during this time was lost (in the Emistic take over), but depictions in books allow for historians to know that it existed. Depictions of King Cybrus, though texts say he dressed in red, are often shown with him in gold. He is the gold king, a true king. Like the First King, and Silver King before him, the Golden King changed Frathien and made Frathien great. He is often a story told to young children when they are told to become great. King Cybrus I was everything the country wanted in a king and brought about revolutionary change to the Kingdom.

The Royal Guard

_______Created in response to King Cybrus' betrayal of his bodyguard (and near death) all Kings of Frathos have a royal guard consisting of seven individuals, headed by the King’s personal bodyguard. The remaining six individuals are selected amongst the many citizens of Frathien, through intense selection tests. All members are top graduates of their academies, and are regarded as the strongest of their generation. All six have graduated from the five academies in the academy system, as such is a requirement to be selected for the guard. The following are the six to be in the next King’s royal guard. This guard is the first guard in hundreds of years (exact time unknown) to have a member as a graduate from each of the six top academies in the Kingdom.

_______The guard is set up with seven seats. The seat numbers are negligible, as they are only representative of when the member was selected to join the guard. Seat numbers do not reflect strength or command in the group. There is one commander and two vice commanders. Each vice commander controls their subsequent team: team one and team two. Each member has a mask and codename, to conceal their identity.

_______Each generation of the guard has a nickname. This generation's nickname is officially: Millennium. Their title is derived from the fact that they have gathered talents in the royal guard that are rare even within Frathien. Unofficially their title is: Weirdos, for many reasons.

The Great Tacticians and Order of Master Tacticians

_______All Great Tacticians of Frathien are titled with the name Dragon. Their title then also consists of more identifying features to make their title distinct. Typically these are family names. (ex The Dragon of the Vortigern family). Master Tacticians are given the title with distinction in regard to directions. (ex The Dragon of the West). There have never been more than four Master Tactician in an era, so such a title is distinct. These titles are also the only ones to have successors and predecessors.

The Swordsman and Grand Masters of Frathien

_______There are ten sword schools. A swordsman is a practitioner of the specific sword arts. A Sword Master is a a swordsman who has mastered the entire sword art that they are practicing. A Sword Grandmaster is a Sword Master of all ten of the arts. The age of Sword Masters and Grandmasters is long past.

「Chapter 6: Academy System」

The Academy System Overview

_______The Academy System of Frathien, is a Frathien exclusive schooling system which is how Frathien has such a strong, ferocious, and tenacious, military. When at peace or not at war, Commanders, and sometimes soldiers, teach at these special Academies.

_______Across Frathien there are public education facilities, schools, for children pre Academy age. They are used to teach the basics of language, reading, writing, strategy, and tactics. The schools mostly specialize in weapon control, martial arts, and the use of technology for field work and war. At a age ten most students are allowed to apply to the Academy System in an attempt to move up in class and to further their education. A student has up until the age of eighteen to get into the Academies and can apply twice a year. Most of those whole fail to get in become the backbone of the country in terms of agriculture, blacksmithing, and the likes. Failing to get into an academy is not seen as a disgrace but rather and opportunity to serve the country in another facet.

_______The Academy System, is comprised of multiple Academies across the country. At each of these Academies there are multiple schools, or academies (lowercase) -- as the citizens call them. (OCC: To be explicitly clear. Academies, capitalized, refers to one university like school that is comprised of multiple academies, lowercased, like colleges) The academies (colleges) are: the combat academy, the weapons academy, the sciences academy, the survival academy, and the strategy academy. (ex. The King’s Royal Academies’ Academy of Combat) Across the country there are 20 Academies: Six Top Tier, four Middle Tier, and ten Lower Tier. The Academies are split on the class, the knowledge that is taught, and the power of their graduates. All of these Academies are run specifically by nobles under the King, except for the King’s Royal Academies. The King’s Royal Academies is ran by the King’s council, and is where all royalty go to study. It is the oldest, and hardest of the Academies to get into.

_______The academies buildings for a specific Academies, are typically in two or three buildings. Only the Top Tier Academies have a single building for each specific academy, plus a dormitory. The tests to get into the Academies include written tests (plural), verbal tests (plural), and practical tests (plural). Testing season for the Academies depends on region, but Typically goes as follows winter - north, spring - west, summer - south, autumn - east, yearly/whenever - central. The new school year begins on the winter solstice.

_______Most citizens are only selected into one or two of the multiple academies that any specific Academies has to offer. Those who are selected into, and graduate from, more tend to receive higher class jobs in the government, and military. If a person is only selected into one or two of the academies that a specific Academies has to offer, they will commonly say they went to “academy” as a singular term. (ex. “Yes, I went to academy. I graduated from the King’s Royal Academies’ Academy of Combat.”) If a person says they have gone or graduated from “the academies” it is plural and means they were selected into 3+ of the academies that a specific Academies has to offer.

_______The Academy of Combat: This academy specializes in combat and martial arts of the specific region (see sword arts of Frathien above). The students are taught other forms of hand to hand combat as well and are the specialized soldiers of the Frathien army. Most of those who get into the Academy System end up in this academy.

_______The Academy of Weapons: This academy specializes in weapons, and all forms of frathien technology. They learn how to take the metals from the mines and the weapons made by blacksmiths and how to refine or appraise them. These students specialize in weapon repairs and the other war technology, like chains, needles, arrows, and the likes. They learn how to adapt and create new weapons and are pushed to elevate the status of the killing technology of Frathien.

_______The Academy of Sciences: This academy specializes in healing, poisons, and the likes. While Frathien does not come close to Glaistic in terms of medicine or science, this academy is designed for combat healing. How to spot poisons and how to stop them. How to heal on the battle field, triage, and other basic healing techniques. The members of these academies are skilled nurses and may work in hospitals or on the field but in order to truly enhance their knowledge of medicine they must study in Glaistic.

_______The Academy of Survival: This academy specializes in survival and survival tactics. They learn to read weather, flora, fauna, how to hunt, how to track, to cover tracks, and the likes. They are also taught the skills of assassination and spying, learning to blend in and how to pretend to be of another country. They are the only academy taught other languages (specifically Silicia) formally. They are also the only academy to have such an extensive knowledge of the other countries cultures.

_______The Academy of Strategy: This academy specializes in strategy and tactics of war. This is by far the most elusive of the Academies to get into. Those in this academy often become high ranking officials in Frathien's military. They learn most about Silicia battle tactics, but those who are in the Academy of Strategy are often in the Academy of Survival and use the knowledge to supplement their war plans.
