Before you can begin your journey here, we ask all members to read these and feel free to ask questions.
Cardinal Rules: Violators will not be able to partake in the RP.
Rule 1: You must be 18 or above .
Rule 2: All characters involved in this roleplay must be of legal consenting age. This includes characters of discordant age/physical appearance, whichever is younger. If your character looks 13 but is 5000 years old, their appearance will be scrutinized. If your character looks 38 but is actually 2 years old, their age will be scrutinized.
Rule 3: Respect all of the members here irrespective of creed, ability, identity, genetic disposition, gender, sex, orientation, age, or any other facets of one's personhood. Any discriminations, slurs, or associations with inherently bigoted organizations will earn you an instant ban, especially when/where intent to harm is evident.
Rule 4: The purpose of this domain is plot-based roleplay. If you have no interest in roleplaying AND you use this domain for your solicitations, you will be removed.
Rule 5: At no point will any person or character be allowed to engage, humor, or entertain any activities involving pedophilia.
Venial Rules: Oversight/Infringement as it pertains to these rules does not trigger removal/ban. Instead, we believe these being coachable moments of self-discovery and growth. After all, none are infallible and we're all capable of making mistakes.
Rule 1: We encourage open, respectful, and active communication. Speak your mind actively and transparently as possible without being curt.
Rule 2: Please be considerate of your fellow roleplayer's time.
- For 1v1 RP: Try to execute posts within a day or two of their post to maintain momentum. If you cannot, please apprise your partner.
- For Group RP: Try to execute posts within the day of the post, at the latest; allow yourself to be skipped as needed so not to hold others back.
Rule 3: Do not coerce or 'force' actions or events (e.g. powerplay) on your fellow partner's character. Please speak to them before you involve their characters in specific ways.
Rule 4: As writers, we all experience fatigue and writer's bloc. That said, we do encourage our roleplayers write longer than a single liners. Try to mirror, as best as possible, the length of your partner's post or define what your capacity is ahead of time (e.g. 4-5 liners).
Rule 5: No more than 3 character for each member (not counting NPCs).
Rule 6: All characters must be reviewed and approved by a DM before players can roleplay as them.
Rule 7: Erotic RP is prohibited and cannot be done per RpNation's rules.
Rule 8: All roleplay actions will occur in third person only.
-> Do This: He went to the door and retrieved the parcel from the mailman.
-> Rather Than This: I went to to the door and retrieved the parcel from you. OR He went to the door and retrieved the parcel from you.
...And arguably most importantly, HAVE FUN!
There is a general plot/story but I leave it to all members to find what this story means and how their character lines up to the plot for themselves.
