Why is there no option in combat/social combat to go on the defensive? Guard is kind of, but it's more of a "do nothing until some better option comes along" action. What about actively being defensive?
So I've started a new group of gamers on their first Exalted adventure and they are loving it. But we're all having some trouble naming their characters. Here's the circle so far:
- the Dawn, a Tya woman, wields a grand daiklave, seeks to captain her own first age ship and eventually to unify...
So with CoCD6 being finally complete I want to run an Alchemical game, but with only one core book and more than a couple players, I was thinking of how to speed up char-gen. The idea of the Storyteller's Companion model of Charm Packages struck me as great, even if it wasn't implemented well...
I had an idea I wanted to run past you all; what if the only charms were Excellencies? There may be a few things that couldn't be done any more or things that need exceptions.
Martial Arts - I'm tempted to make an exception for MA styles, but the problem there is non-MA fighters would be...
Ok, so I'm working on an Exalted-hack for another system (which I don't want to name so it doesn't become a system discussion) but what I want to do is get a good feel for the types of themes each Exalt type has in their powers. Now, I haven't really decided if I'm going to make Caste/Aspects...
Ok, since the RPG.net forumites are being mostly unhelpful, lets try again. (Why I didn't come here in the first place? IDK)
I had an idea for the Neverborn to create their own version of the Investiture of Infernal Glory and make death-akumas. Can anyone give me a reason why this wouldn't...
Ok, after getting feedback and running it by my players, I think what I want to do is find the least amount of changes that absolutely have to be made, in order to make Social Combat work, rather than completely reworking the system from scratch as my last thread was attempting to do.
So what...
...act as social health levels
+ Intimacies are rated by the associated Virtue
+ Choose a number of Intimacies for each Virtue equal to it's rating*
* the more virtuous you are, the more things mean something to you
- Social Attacks do not use speed and rate is irrelevant
+ Social...
Yeah, either pick one or the other. Either you can want everything on a subject to stay in the same thread regardless of how old or unused it is, or you can want to leave dead threads dead. Personally I could care less one way or the other, but if its that important to avoid thread necro, then...
Dude, that's me! Holy crap people actually look at my stuff and recommend it! I'm just blown away.
Sorry for the thread necro, I just happened to google my name based on another thread talking about name stealing and originality.
