    Amalia howled, or more likely, loudly growled. She needed to get out of here. She couldn't take being in the air. She was angry and hungry.

    Kai wasn't done turning everything to stone, so she busted through the door. Amalia's wrist was bleeding but she ignored it. It would heal anyway. She wasn't in her right mind. It would come and go, and when it did, she would try to stop herself.

    Amalia began screaming. It was excruciating pain. She couldn't handle it. She knew her eyes had changed from their usual light brown to red. She tried to break free from her handcuffs and succeeded. A layer of sweat covered her entire body.
