The amount of people who say they'd like to be support/healers in my Idea makes you a superpower thread is hilariously incongruent with the number of people who play healers in any roleplay/RPG I've ever participated in, notably D&D. XD
Ideas are rarely as cool or interesting as the one that came up with them thinks it is, in the eyes of other people. It is the interesting things that the other gets to be, use or experience one should emphasize.
Luck is an interestingly contradicting thing. Good luck is found in low expectations and optimism. Bad luck is found in high expectations and pessimism.
"To me the reason why it's so lame, is not that companies are scared of advertising on a mildly controversial video, they are scared of potential harmful brand association in the event that Sally voluntarily clicks on a video about ISIS, voluntarily watches a clip of terrorists blowing something up, and then leaves thinking 'man, f**k vitamin water!'."
I never really thought about it that way, but when I heard it phrased that way, it's both hilarious and pretty true haha.
One thing that certainly gets a bit on my nerves is going to the forum games and not even making a slight attempt at playing the rules or doing something a little creative (within those rules). It's like showing up at a poker game with uno cards and expecting to be taken seriously.
