• How long’s it been since I’ve publicly declared that Daisie’s the greatest? A month? Consider this yet another formal declaration. Don’t @ me.
Why is it the worst feeling in the world when someone pours something cold down your back, but then when there's a super cold breeze, your instinct is to turn your back to it?
I've been pondering this for several days, now, and I need answers

This is a picture of the human body in proportion to nerve end density (read: how sensitive a person is supposed to be in those areas). Most of our most sensitive areas are facing the front, not to mention most of our sensory organs including the eyes are likewise facing the front. The instinct to turn your back to it might have developed because you are less sensitive to if it comes from the back and also as means to avoid, say, getting dust or such in your eyes or nose that could be carried by the breeze.

And no, I don't have a problem with your fandoms. Do people regularly have problems with your fandoms?

Why's everyone so surprised when animals turn out to be majorly screwed up in the wild?
    Daisie
    Daisie
Probably something like that. I guess it just doesn't surprise me anymore - I work around farm animals all the time and they can certainly dangerous. That doesn't mean they can't be loving, of course... But compared to the stuff that humans do, they can be pretty messed up, yeah.

Whaaat? But animals are so sweet and innocent, they'd never do anything like that!

(just kidding, I know they do)

In the wise words of a family guy skit... "DAMN NATURE, U SCARY"

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore animals, I have since I was young. But a lot of it is...adore from a very safe distance.
You've seen past tense writing, you've seen present tense writing. But there should be a RP where it's in future tense.

"Ashley is gonna kick Gary's butt and laugh at him mockingly"
"Gary is going to cry and magically overpower her with the power of friendship suddenly."
    "Ashley will hecking die"
Question time: Where do you draw the line between fear and phobia? What behaviour counts as a legitimate phobia?

Yeah, like I've only ever really had horrible experiences with medical needles which just compounded over time. I still hate medical needles and IVs, but I've improved greatly the past few years where it's not a phobic reaction, more a cringe and "get this shit over with" while staring hatefully at a wall or ceiling. XD

And yes, talk to someone about it familiar with phobias or anxiety focused treatments.
    PSA for newer artists:
For the love of all that is good, be gentle about your colour schemes. Try to use fully saturated colours sparingly, if at all. Dulled colours can convey emotion, too! Don't shy from them!
Everyone is complaining about generations today, dang
    Abendrot
    Abendrot
It's just the cycle man. people will think the current generation sucks and every one before was great, but it's either just old people being salty that they're old or young people who have a romanticized view of the past.

I don't get why people bother caring anymore. It wouldn't bug me so much if people didn't complain about it SO OFTEN. It's pretty much the "hip and relatable" thing to say.

Every generation is gonna have a reason to complain about the past, present, and future generations. There are a few ways to fix this, though most wouldn't agree with such methods.
Spider-Man Into the Spider Verse was a super fun movie! It's a comic book movie done right.
