Came back to try it out again because I've got the RP itch and want to write again! I used to rp on other forum sites so RPnation isn't completely new to me but it will take time getting used to its new features. ✨
 
Howdy! I'm GadTheDad but you can call me Gad. I've been roleplaying for about 4-5 years with an old friend of mine though it seemed the story we made sorta died off and ever since I've been looking for a new partner through places such as Reddit and Discord but with no luck.

I am a 22 year old male writer who has a lot of fun creating my own universes with their own lore, races, etc. Just world building and breathing life into a story is what I love about rping and I hope to find a partner who is just as excited as I am to do such things. I am an (amateur) artist and love to draw my characters along with my partners (If they allow it) to give a more idea of their descriptions. I mainly did Fantasy Medieval but I am open to any except for fandoms.
Other than drawing and thinking about stories to play out I am usually gaming or working out if I'm not at work. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope so find a partner on this forum.
 
Hello! I'm still trying to figure out how everything works here but thought I'd introduce myself first. I'm Eliza and I go by she/her pronouns. It has been a very long time since I roleplayed and I wanted to start again for fun. About 4 or 5 years ago I started my very first roleplay on the Amino apps and loved it ever since. I stopped after a year of roleplaying due to personal stuff and haven't roleplayed since.

I have never used forum sites for roleplay before and have only ever done DM roleplays so I'm quite excited to try this!

Thanks for reading and because it's been a while since I've roleplayed, any tips would be appreciated!! Hoping for this site to be my new home for RP ideas and fun times! :D
 
hi everyone i go by nyxxie or nina <3 i’ve been roleplaying for quite a few years now, around 4 or 5. even though i’ve been switching around sites and trying different places, i remember trying rpn a while back and none other site has managed to impress me as much ! what can i say? seeing the beautiful code creations of the talented creators here is just amazing. even though i am a big fan of slice-of-life stories, i also do enjoy world building and fantasy plots (extra points if we refer to greek mythology ). i’m looking forward to creating stories with you all !
 
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
    I'm turning 37 this year so if you count recording the adventures of my friends and I on my grandma's typewriter when I was 8-9, I've got nearly 30 years of RP experience. I do a lot of writing but my new job has afforded me less time to dedicate to long-form writing and so Roleplay is an easy way to integrate that energy back into something productive, and after a bit of searching around, here I am.

  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
    Generally speaking I'm mostly open to most things. I'm a big shonen anime fan (or rather, I was in my heyday) and like some LitRPG and Cultivation novels, so generally speaking I'm a bit more in the action-oriented sort of things. But with that said, I'm mostly here for things that are character-driven and ways to explore interesting character concepts, and of course, to meet other characters with their interesting concepts too!

  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    Honestly being married and a dad, I don't have a lot of free time, and so hobbies are pretty small. I do like to play video games, mostly older RPGs (~32bit era and prior is my preferred) and as I mentioned before, writing now and then if I have the freedom to do so. Otherwise most of my time is spent either working or playing with my 3 year old.

  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    I answered this above but I recently got a new job which affords less downtime than previous and so while I used to do writing in spurts at work, that's no longer an option. So instead I thought maybe some light Roleplay would fit the bill so I'm here to check things out.

  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
    I have a cat named Medli (after the Rito from Wind Waker) who is loud and obnoxious and yells about pretty much everything. She's also timid and doesn't like being petted so she's less of a pet and more of an angry roommate.

  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.
    - I have aided in the development of several indie games
    - I have a long-running fan fiction going on hundreds of thousands of words
    - I've created an original RP world with my wife which has been going for almost 15 years now

im male and only rp as such and only do MxF rp. but i have no problem play npc's as part of a story though.

i am a adult and ok with such content but i know there are rules against using such content on this platform.

i typically use discord for my rp's .

i prefer that my rp partner be capable of +2 paragraphs most of the time. im not overly picky about spelling or grammar so long as its not terrible.

I'm Sorin, but feel free to call me anything that you'd like. I'm twenty-five years old, a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community that responds to any pronouns, and lives somewhere around Philadelphia. I've been Roleplaying for a long time, but tend to jump around with interests, and often struggle to stick to anything longterm because of my ADD. I'm not even sure what I'm looking for at the moment, but I'm thinking of trying something outside of my usual comfort zone to see how well I'm able to adapt. I suppose that means I'm open to anything for now, but we'll just have to see where I land in the end. :)

Behind the screen and my Roleplaying, I'm pretty average (I promise that I'm not a dog). I'm fairly interested in The Sims, especially The Sims 3, though I absolutely love following the development drama of The Sims 4. I also enjoy Stardew Valley, Coral Island, Rune Factory, Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon though on a lesser scale. I've also very recently gotten back into Bethesda titles by diving headfirst into Skyrim, but New Vegas is next on my list. I also enjoy some animes and most comedies (especially Community and Schitt's Creek, but Brooklyn 99 is slowly winning me over too) as well as plenty of YouTubers, especially ones that upload video game challenges or video essays. I'm currently in college for Engineering with a particular interest in Nuclear, but I'll probably go the way of Civilian for the sake of job security. I also am still searching for a job in general, but our local job market is kinda sucky, so that's been a slow climb. In the meantime, though, I'll just be sitting around making playlists and sifting through Roleplaying websites to see if anything stands out to me.

Availablity: Whenever really. I work from home, set my own hours, and have a completely destroyed sleep schedule, so I'm pretty much always around.

Seeking: Anyone, so long as they are willing and able to play Male CCs

Frequency: I'm a multiple posts per day kinda girl myself, and would prefer to keep to that if possible, but I'm adaptable.

Platform: Discord only please, I don't like any other platform as they don't have the level of complexity and organization that Discord offers.

Timezone: I'm EST but I've got no problem having partners from drastically different time zones.

Experience: I've been rping pretty consistently since I was 16. Suffice it to say I've got a fair few successful stories under my belt.

Style: I am an advanced literate narrative writer. I prefer paragraphs with dialogue in quotation marks and lots of introspection so that we can both really get to know our characters.

Complexity: As I said, I'm a narrative writer, so I prefer to have as much detail and inner monologue as possible in my replies. I would like my partner to try and match that, but so long as I can track the how and why of whatever your character is doing, I'm happy.

As an aside, I am a novelist by trade. Some of the people I've partnered with in the past have found this intimidating, but there's no need to feel that way. I only mention it because I like to get to know my rp partners and offer assistance in making their writing better if they want me to do so.
 
Hey all, I'm Tiller although you can call me Tyler or TC. I'm fifteen and have been rping for several years now, I started when I was probably too young to be honest haha. I use he/him pronouns and only play male characters, but I'm fine doing any pairings (or none at all). I'm fairly new to rping like this and it's been a good three or four years since I last roleplayed so I consider myself more of a beginner in that aspect, but I do a lot of creative writing so hopefully that can be applied here. I'm looking to participate in 1x1 or small group roleplays of almost any genre, although I lean into slice of life/realistic roleplays more than fantasy/sci-fi. My response time will vary quite a bit but I can promise at least one reply a day for the next few months unless I'm on vacation. Anyway, I'm excited to get back into things!

I am new to RPNation, but I have been roleplaying for seven years (give or take). I am currently twenty years old and live in the United States (Central Standard Time). I am a guy (he/him/his) majoring in biology with the hopes of someday becoming an ornithologist. I'm interested in all things music and play six different instruments (I favour the guitar and bass guitar). I enjoy reading historical nonfiction and messing about with synthesisers (namely analogue). I've been trying my hand at stand-up comedy and comedic screenwriting as of late. I have no shortage of creative outlets and am constantly making things through various mediums. I like to make people laugh and often find myself being a rock, anchor, or voice of reason to others. I am naturally very caring but straightforward.

I've sought out this website because I am unable to find a roleplay partner(s) with the same interests as me. I only partake in three (3) fandoms, those being Metalocalypse, What We Do in the Shadows (film, not show, because I like making things more difficult for myself), and Flight of the Conchords. I like to play as Nathan Explosion and Vladislav the Poker, predominantly. With that being said, I am exclusively interested in male/male pairings.

I'm happy to be here and hope I can find someone interested in collaborating. Peace and love.
