I'm 28, female, and for work I'm a retail assistant manager and also an actor at Frightworld America's Screampark. I need a hobby to keep me busy outside of work, and seeing as I've always loved reading, figured it might be worth my while to practice writing and possibly turn it into something that can make me money down the road.

Hopefully i'll get to meet some cool people here. I was part of a consistent roleplay back in high school and enjoyed it a lot, but that's about all I've done in the roleplay world so far. If I can get invested and lost in a new one that would be awesome. Hopefully I can connect with others at my skill level as I do worry about jumping in with experienced writers :S

I am delighted to explore this new form of roleplay community since I have grown from exploring the rp forums on Fanfiction.net to the rp books of Wattpad before settling in on roleplaying via Discord. I am a full-time college student pursuing a secondary English teaching major, aka just an English Major. I work part-time at my local library so I am trying to get back into reading presently. So, the last time I was here...was 2017 based on this profile, which, I am highly surprised (and thankful) for remembering. Since my extended hiatus -

I had a baby - a boy (main reason for extended hiatus)
I got an education - diploma in animal welfare.
I opened up my own animal rescue (2022).
I stopped being cringy - maybe.
I have gray hairs now.

Yes, I take frequent breaks because of my health. Typically, they are about 6 months to a year (sometimes less, sometimes more) and I take breaks every 2+ years. Anticipated next break is 2025. Gross.
