Introduce Yourself!

Hello!

Courtesy of some random, almost unheard of pandemic that shall remain nameless, I stumbled into RPing as I stumbled into playing PC games last year. Turns out, I'm pretty terrible at game mechanics, but the RP aspect was fun! I think I learned the basics through observation and practice, but I'm not sure how much was specific to that particular arena and what carries over into RP in general. So if I fail to glom onto particular acronyms or terminology, that might be why. (( I might ask OOCly in brackets if confused....There, did I do that right?? =P ))

I've only created/played a few characters to this point, and I find it takes me a bit to 'get into their skin' at the start, but I imagine this will get quicker with practice =)

So I'm looking forward to trying RP on this platform and hope to have as much fun as I had in the past year!

hi hi! i'm gxxberkit (pronounced goober kit). i've been roleplaying online for ~7 years, but it's been a LONG while since i've rped on a forum. roleplaying in general, like, with plushies too, i've been doing forever.. roleplay is a huge part of my life yk yk? uh, i swear i'm literate, this is just my Lazy Typing. though, i am used to one-two line roleplays, so i'm trying to get better at longer ones. it's super cool to be back on a forum, though :)

  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3

Hi :) I like your profile pic lol. I like roleplaying with plushies too and shortly written RPs. When you say ~7 years, do you mean like up to seven years?

How long ago did you used to roleplay?

Hi ^__^ Call me kiwi. I used to roleplay on gaiaonline back in the day and haven't really found a replacement. I also use second life and love anime, light roleplaying, creating things and hanging out lol. I live in the US and have two old doggies.
