Hi! My name is Ellie (she/her!), I'm 19 and from the USA! I used to roleplay quite a bit but I stopped for quite a few years, but I've always loved writing! I've recently hit a bit of a dry spell in my writing and missed roleplaying a lot, so I thought joining an RP website would be a perfect way to get my creative juices flowing! I'm taking a year off of college to work with the whole pandemic going on, and I'd really love to spend my personal time writing more. Just a warning to those I might roleplay with in the future though: my writers block is so intense rn so my writing skills might start out pretty basic on here :O

In terms of hobbies, I'm a huge huge kpop fan and really like anime! My favorite group is Super Junior and my favorite anime is Steins;Gate!! ^-^ I'm not really interested in anime or kpop roleplay though, as I love creating my own characters and crafting worlds and original stories. I'm down for pretty much any type of roleplay, I'm a sucker for including romance though!

I have two dogs, Leo (a mini Labradoodle) and Sebastian (a Wheaton Terrier)!! They're my best boys, I love them so much :D
 
Hello! I've been looking for RP sites (haven't done anything in a long time), so I'm very new to here, trying to check things out, see how things work.

This place seems very cool, but I had a couple questions and I'm not sure where to ask them? Mainly:

1) Is there a reason the site doesn't really allow ownership of accounts or RP's? E.g. You can't delete your account, you can't delete your posts or threads, the rules make it seem like the work one puts out is essentially the site's. It makes me kind of nervous that there's that level of staff control on things, esp. having seen staff abuse on other old websites. There's also work I've done when I was younger where I was embarrassed about it later and would probably want to delete it, even though there was nothing wrong with it rules-wise, and obviously if I grow as a person, that might be the case again later.

2) I don't know how to ask this - does this site prioritize protecting people in political minorities? Some places expect people in those groups to leave their identity at the door while pushing for cultures that are unwelcoming to them. It does seem like the website cares about protecting minors and being generally inclusive, which is great to see.
 
Hello everyone!

My name is Kaylee, but I prefer to be called Phantom! I'm a female college student looking to get back into roleplaying. I used to roleplay a lot back in high school, but eventually real life took over and I lost track of roleplaying/creative writing. I had an amazing english professor in college that really helped me analyze and improve my writing, so I want to put it to the test! While I wrote mostly research papers, I never let research restrain my creative thoughts. In the past, I've dabbled in a couple different genre's, but I enjoyed romance and fantasy the most. I remember fondly joining a Fairy Tail Roleplay Guild that hosted various missions, tournaments, and socializing posts! I spent a lot of time creating spells and various magic types to fit my characters. Additionally, I liked to test myself with different personalities and genders. It always posed as a challenge to try and think as someone who didn't closely resemble myself.

Outside of roleplay, I enjoying playing video games, drawing, and spending time with my dog. I like to play a variety of games, but some of my favorites right now are: League of Legends, Rocket League, Osu, and Apex Legends! My dog is a Chocolate Lab mixed with an Irish Setter!

I guess, in the end, I decided to join RpNation to try and experience the enjoy I had while roleplaying while I was younger. Looking forward to starting a post!
 
Hello! I'm Ciel, I use she/her pronouns and I'm currently in my senior year of high school!
I've been RPing for a really long time, although I lost track after six years or so. I didn't know a site like this existed since I'm used to just sticking with my friend groups when it comes to roleplay, but I'm excited to start branching out and meeting some new people through my writing!

As far as genres go... I love fandom RPs but I'll always prefer using my own characters; otherwise, I'm really big into fantasy, superheroes, sci-fi, or even slice-of-life, and I'm always down for a romantic subplot! Ask me what fandoms I'd be down to roleplay for and I can give an entire organized document, so I won't even bother listing them all down here lol

Outside of roleplaying, I write my own stories in my free time, along with drawing, playing the piano or violin, or generally finding any way I possibly can to be creative.

I hope I can meet some fun writers here soon! ^^
 
Hi all, I'm Jay. I'm he/him but also advocate for the general acceptance of "they/them" as our common pronoun. I wandered here with some sci-fi, fantasy, and historical RP ideas that I'm hoping to try out soon. I haven't rp'd in a very long time, but I'd like to take a break from solo writing to dabble into some collaborative stories (hence why I'm here).

Greetings, loves! I'm Kactis, or Kac! I am not really that new to roleplay, but I also still have a lot to learn. I do a whole ton of genres, lengths and perspectives. I actually started collaborative writing on Amino a long time ago, and then went on Scratch because of a friends' recommendations and because it was where said friend posted animations, and finally Discord. I found out about Forums a few years after learning how to write better, and... now I'm here :]
 
Hi. I go by Pet Panda on this site. I've been RPing for a while and the amount of it that I'm currently participating in just isn't doing it for me, so I dragged myself out of the familiar, smarmy depths of (other RP sites) to dirty RPN's doormat.

I also am familiar with tabletop games, so let me know if an open spot needs filling in a "Dice" section RP.

Hello! My name is Zexu and I've been RPing for a long time, but only recently started using RPN to find partners. I'm your typical gaming freak with MMO/RPGs being my favorites. My favorite game of all time is FFXI although I don't play it anymore. I also enjoy some animes with some of my faves being Naruto, One Piece, and more recently My Hero Academia.
 
Hello~! I joined yesterday, but I didn't get around to introducing myself until now. I'm Cream.snekkle (at least, on here)! I use she/her pronouns and I mainly use Discord (I'll only share it privately, though) for roleplaying, although I wouldn't mind seeing what it's like roleplaying on a different website once more. I haven't done that in a very long time, as the only two other websites I've used to roleplay on were ROBLOX and afterwards, Skype.

I joined here so I could start sharing some of my own works and maybe even meet a few new people to roleplay with. I've been roleplaying for around seven to eight years now, and a few particular favorite genres of mine are fantasy, sci-fi and adventure. I don't do fandom roleplays though all that often, I prefer original universes.
Also, I'm a huge fan of all reptiles (snakes and alligators take the top of my list) and I'm an absolute sucker for magic and superpowers/abilities.
I can't wait to see what RPNation has in store for me!

I do have a job that often takes my attention but I usually will try to respond as soon as I am able. I love slice of life, romance, and action based roleplays and I am always open to critique and new genres.
