Hello! It's been a long time since I roleplayed on a text forum. I first got started at about 11 one the Runescape RP forums, then took a break for a few years. In college I went to Japan for a summer and picked it back up for a bit during that time. Since then it's been a few years. I'm not in graduate school pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry and I live with my boyfriend and our cat. I play DnD with friends twice a week over google hangouts and love RPGs on the xbox or PC. Really looking forward to getting back into this with a little bit of every genre.

lmao no but all jokes aside, I've been roleplaying since I was twelve years old, and I've always found the idea of creating new worlds and characters and fleshing them and their stories out incredibly exciting and fufilling. I really like to roleplay anything with a good plot, and I also really like domestic kinds of things to. I think I have about thirty different boys who i use on a daily basis, and I've been working on them for years and years and years lol. In my real life I go to college and do a lot of volunteering, as well as sitting by large lakes and writing twentieth century french bohemian poetry and drinking energy drinks and listening to metal and stupid stuff like that. I do love to write, and I'm flexible with just about anything honestly. I joined this website to put myself out there again after my roleplay partner and boyfriend died a year ago, and I think he would really want me to move on as well. I really hope to make some friends on here

• Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.

I have had a pretty good experience with roleplay, as I tend to have an open mind and do almost all types of roleplays. I have been roleplaying for around 2 years now, and ten to do it whenever I have the time to.

• What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.

Some of my main interests when in comes to genre and setting tend to be either fantasy, action, or highschool, though I am more than fine with any other genre except sexual topics, as I truly despise those. I tend to be more inclined towards semi literate roleplays, as it is somewhat easier for me to write. My limit is probably semi literate turning literate, as it is extremely hard for me to write more that due to inspiration.

• What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.

Some of my hobbies outside roleplaying are writing, baking, watching anime, watching John Oliver, reading, making characters, and walking around with no concept.

Hi! I'm Azure and I'm very excited to find all sorts of interesting partners on this site! For a quick run-down of my interests, as listed in the original post, here it is:

• -I've been roleplaying for about 6 years now. I like to consider myself to be rather experienced with writing, specially with partners, but that doesn't mean I'm a master at anything! Learning and evolving is part of the fun, after all.​
• -My main interests in roleplay, genre and setting-wise include, but are not limited to: adventure, action, suspense, drama, and sometimes horror. I absolutely love playing with the human psyche in my plays, pitting people against situations that test their limits and reveal the nature of humanity and of course, how far one would go to achieve their goals. As for settings, I adore fantastical and futuristic worlds, but as a History student in college, historical settings are also a blessing.​
• Outside of roleplaying, I love to: write, exercise (nothing on a crazy scale), play video-games and do extensive research on interesting topics.​
• I've decided to join RPNation because I wanted a place to share ideas and make them grow. Plus, the site looks pretty neat, so that's a counting factor.​
• As for the pet question, I got a dog! A 12 year old Labrador. He's old but still a ball of (destructive) energy. Anyways, he's a lovely doggo and great company at all times.​

I guess I've been roleplaying for... quite a few years, five-ish maybe?
I like storytelling in general, but I procrastinate a lot so honestly roleplays are the best way to motivate me because they sort of force me to write.

I love developing the dynamics between characters, although of course I love a good general plot and worldbuilding as well. Still, I guess I care more about the dynamics than the setting, so while I might have some preferred settings they're not really set in stone.

Hello to all you wonderful people!

I'm 23 and from Canada. I've been roleplaying since I was about 11 or 12 so have about 11 or so years of experience with it. I started on chickensmoothie way back when that was *the* place to roleplay haha. From there I moved on to a few other websites (once they changed policies and geared their content towards children so RP content was very restricted). Over the past couple of years I've been busy working through mental health challenges and university, but as of now I'm probably healthier and happier than I have been since I was a carefree little girl!

For the sake of anyone who is struggling to make degree decisions for college or university... I started out in the Arts (initially for English, then Sociology, then Creative Writing) spending two years at two different universities trying to pursue my bachelor degree. Due to health issues and uncertainty about my degree path I took a gap year in between each of these, ultimately culminating in 4 years with only 2 years towards a degree. Last year I came to the realization that while I loved the subjects I was studying I hated the thought of a career in any of them. As a result I took this past year off and (having had improved mental health which made me more confident in myself) I accepted that my passion lay in the sciences. I spent a lot of time looking through these program choices I had previously closed myself off to, as I don't enjoy math and so had told myself I could never handle sciences, and discovered the Freshwater Science program. It was a perfect fit for me and I now know exactly what I'd like to do with my life insofar as career goes. This last year then became dedicated to doing adult upgrade courses to get high school requirements that I was missing to switch my degree. I'm now accepted back into my university as a science student in the Freshwater Science program and will be starting this September with a clear roadmap for the next three years till I graduate.

My point with the above being this: if you're not sure yet what you want to do or don't feel the program you've chosen is the right fit... don't be afraid to change it! No one is locked into their decision and it is *so* worth it to find what you're passionate about.

This turned a little bit long which is fairly representative of me, I have a tendency to be a bit long winded lol, but I love chatting with people and am looking forward to writing stories together with you My inbox is always open for talk about anything (be it mental health, school, plots, books, anime, manga, tv, movies, video games... I like a lot of things) and I look forward to getting to know more of you lovely people c:
