Since Blake is living with her brother I’m assuming their parents may have passed and he’s her legal guardian until she turns 18 or something of that sort. If that’s the case she’ll be kind of overwhelmed by the loss whilst also having gained a sister in law and a bunch of nieces/nephews one of which is adopted and possibly her age.

That’s probably why she’s more rebellious than she used to be

I am super jealous, I used to live in California as that is where I was born and I remember us going to the beach all the time. I remember that we used to go there when I was like five, that's when I first started writing. My mom would have us write little books, my brother and I and then she would take us down to the beach or the pool and we would read them. That is one of my best memories and the reason that I love writing
