#10 is especially important to keep in the very front of your mind, but I ask that you read it all as well, please! (': Thank you!
Just keep these in mind! But most of all, have fun!
#1 Please try to respond once a week, if not more! If you know you're going to be gone, or if you have lost interest, the OOC chat exists in part for that reason. Please, make use of it!
#2 That said, I encourage you to get to know each other in the OOC as well.
#3 In your response, I think it will be helpful to state things like the time(s), interaction(s), location(s), etc. that your response takes place in.
#4 Your first response may include what happens before the events of "at present" below, to give context of your character's life, etc.
#5 If you're unsure, do ask the other party for consent when your character is going to do something. Better safe than sorry!
#6 Character deaths may only happen if (a) the user has dropped out and they are okay with having their character killed, or (b) the user is doubling (or intends to double) and gives consent that one of their characters may be killed.
#7 All RP Nation rules apply here. Don't get too graphic.
#8 I included a balm for demons to conquer the sun for some time (read below). I hope with this, it will be a bit easier to respond for those who are playing a demon.
#9 If you have a question or any issues, feel free to ask me either in DM or the OOC thread!
#10 Since this is KNY, a story with undeniably very strong characters, I feel obligated to say this: powerful is okay, but let's not cross the "too powerful" line, yes? I'm giving any benefit of the doubt and my trust on this. Even hashira should not have a breezy time facing against demons equivalent to that of an Upper Moon. In other words, I'm trusting there's flaw in power, be it in personality or in the ability (eg. the nature of it) itself. The same applies for demons. TL ; DR Please don't spoil the fun for other members of the RP with severe OP-ness or god-modding!
If you do, I'll ask you to physically impair your character such that their abilities are hindered. And if push really comes to shove, I'll have to either (a) start hitting the kick hammer or (b) kill off your character and ask you to make a new one that's just not as powerful.
#11 Once again, and most importantly, have fun! โก

โ BACKGROUND
It was 192X when the demon slayers have driven away Muzan under the rule of Ubuyashiki Kagaya and Kiriya. However, it is not yet the end for them. Muzan is still out there, alive and breathing somewhere in the shadows. Somewhere, he is gathering a new force under his sleeve. Therefore, the Ubuyashiki family, with its head now Haruto, continues the hunt.
The Demon Slaying Corps have still not been officially recognized by the government, even during Haruto as the head in 200X. However, he still has members (all of them who fit into society, leading their "day lives") who are willing to work with him to slay Muzan and his new subordinates, once and for all, so that Japan's "peace" is no longer just a fragile perception, but rather a fortified reality.
โ AT PRESENT
19:00, the Ubuyashiki Estate.
Haruto, age 15, has gathered a few of the demon slayers to discuss with them about the growing demonic activity, especially at night. The young boy was aware that these members seemed busy during the day, so he felt truly grateful, and so he offered them a brief bow, dipping his head. He expressed his worry through his posture, though his expression remained passive, calm. He would like the present slayers to come up with a consensus together. This issue is a serious one at hand right now, so he would like everybody to be on the same page and in agreement regarding how to solve this problem. "I would like this to be a space for discussion," he stated in a quiet yet undeniably firm tone, "I believe for such a serious issue, it will work best if we can come to an agreement so that we all know how to proceed and so that we are all willing to proceed as such."

โ BACKGROUND
Around a thousand years ago, the first demon was born: his name was Kibutsuji Muzan, or the "father of demons." Ever since then, the demon had formed the Twelve Demon Moons in order to attain his goal of becoming a demon that can walk completely conquering the sunlight. However, he has not had much success with that back in the Taishล era, when the Demon Slaying Corps drove him away.
After the Moons were completely abolished, Muzan hid in the shadows, gathering more demons, turning them and giving them his blood. There have also been humans who have made mutually beneficial deals with Muzan, and so with their help, a balm was created to temporarily block off the sun. Any demon who applied the balm would be able to temporarily conquer the sun. However, this balm didn't provide complete protection, as demons would still be prone to sensitivity (ie. it may feel uncomfortable). Because of these deals, the humans working with Muzan can continue a flowing supply of this balm.
So, under the veil of "peace," Muzan once again takes a step toward his goal...
โ AT PRESENT
19:00, Dimensional Infinity Fortress.
Muzan, with the help of the Biwa Woman, has summoned his subordinates to a meeting in the Dimensional Infinity Fortress, where no sunlight penetrated through, giving it its cooler air. As he looked down at them with his sharp, plum-colored eyes, he felt a knot of irritation flowing through his veins. He still kept a coldly calm composure though. "Well, have you made any progress? You should be aware that the Demon Slaying Corps still exists, and they are still on the move. Have you killed any of their members?" He narrowed his eyes: an attempt to instill intimidation. "Why else do you think you received my blood? You've got absolutely no right to my bloodโ it's a mere privilege. One that I can revoke at any time." He paused before continuing. "I care not if you have to work together. I just need your full devotion to fulfilling the goals on the table." When his statement was finished, he returned to a neutral expression; it was a silent gesture for the others to speak.
