If you're kinda lost on what to do, we could say that she and Nick split apart, with Nick volunteering to stay there and wrap their interrogation up with the "Cow Photographer" while she runs to take care of her "Family Business"... or something like that. That way, you aren't stuck waiting for him, and can cover two places at once!
