Personality: Fukuro is a quiet, smart type of girl. She likes to keep to herself, and doesn't really feel comfortable when interacting with others. It takes a while for her to become close to anyone. Fukuro does have social anxiety, and slight insomnia, because her sleeping schedule is so messed up. When interacting with other people, she tends to avoid looking them in the eyes, and makes it quite obvious that she is uncomfortable. Fukuro has strong opinions and theories that she is comfortable with sharing.


History: Fukuro grew up with her mother for most of her childhood, until she passed of a bad illness. She then had to live with her grandparents who encouraged her to go to the Zoo Academy. As of her father, she doesn't like to talk about it. Fukuro's mother would always sing her songs and lullabies that Fukuro continues to sing to herself sometimes when she's feeling down. Her mother was the only person she really cared about, considering she didn't really have many friends growing up. After her mother's passing, she focused on schoolwork to clear her mind of any emotional pain. Since then, she has done extremely well in her schoolwork.

Personality: Takashi seems to put on a reputation of a perfect, confident, rich guy. He acts like he's the most important person in the world, yet he honestly thinks the opposite. People would say he's a cocky jerk. Deep down, he feels sympathy for those he hurts, and it only makes him hate himself even more. He hates showing people that though, which is why he acts so confident.


History: Takashi grew up mostly by himself while his & his sisters nanny watched the house. As his parents were busy all of the time, he would get angry at them, and when they wanted to spend time with him, he would refuse. Takashi was either alone in his freetime, or with his friends. He had a lot of friends, and even more acquaintances. He'd go to parties, throw parties, and drink all the time. Takashi had a depression problem, but always hid it. He would drink his pain away, or pay people to be his friend to feel wanted. He never had a real girlfriend, but he had many girl... partners. If he did have a girlfriend, he'd cheat on her at some point, usually more than once.

History: When Averi was 2 years old she flew for the first time. Like many young children, she dreamed of flying and wanted to very, very bad. One day, she jumped off of the stairs and never touched the floor, much to her excitement. However, this strange talent horrified her parents, and they forbade her to do it again. This made Averi depressed and she became introverted. He parents became cruel to her because she was the "strange" child. They locked her in her room and sometimes denied her food. Eventually, she was sent to this school because of her high IQ and flying ability, but she's never been as trusting again.

History: It was known from a young age that Zephyr was special. He was born with his red eyes, which made his mother cry. She soon gave him up for adoption which was the first blow that made Zephyr lose his trust in humans. He was cycled through the foster care system, where he ended up burning a girl (which made him hide his gift). One day a rich, powerful family showed up, wanting someone to show off at their dinner parties. They loved Zephyr, with his red eyes. He was the centerpiece of his adoptive family's dinner parties. But he hated it. Behind closed doors they kept him locked in his room, and he would secretly develop his fire gift. Eventually, they sent him off to this school, where he hates being in the top class.

Out of water:He has narrow slits for pupils and has sharp teeth filling his mouth that can be grown back within about a day. Zander has gills on his neck to breath under water but does not require water to breathe. Finally he has dorsal fin protruding from between his shoulder blades.


In water: Everything above applies, however, his skin gains a blueish tint and the lower part of his body turns into the body of a shark. This makes him appear like a shark merman. His hands also acquire webbing and claws. Zander grows pectoral fins from the middle of his ulna.

History:Before coming to the school he and his family lived on the coast of Brazil. His mother and father were both successful doctors there and they are the only reason he is attending this academy. He promised he would do his best since the were the ones paying so much for his schooling. He has always been quite open of his differences and cherished every friend he had because they all so often just ran away from him.
