I love lever action rifles the best. I can literally shoot some of them at full aIto speeds. At a distance though I can agree that the bolt action rifles are the best, especially the M1903. I've been wanting to buy one of them for a while now but just haven't had the chance. I'd have given my character one but he already has a lot and I only wanted to give him things I own.
 
I have a swiss Karabiner 11 made in 1924. It's got a straight bolt and its never going to be fired from someone's hands. Maybe from a table but that's it. I also know someone who owns a Browning M1919. It's semi-auto though but still fun to shoot

Yeah I do, but mostly in Cowboy Action Shooting if you have heard of it. Thats why my character tends to use a pair of six guns (Ruger Vaqueros) and a lever action rifle (Winchester '73). I do however practice lots of other kinds of shooting and know quite a bit about tactical pistol type sports and am pretty handy with those types. Shotguns are another strong point of mine and I'm also a good shot a long range.

@Jennifer Shotain I can take hunting, scavenging, weapons, ammo stock, or security. Any of those fit my character.
 
Yeah thats a nice rifle you got there. Those M1919s are a hoot to shoot aren't they. Have you guys ever shot a gatling gun or a cannon? Those are awesome to fire as well.

Each person can vote a different person for a role, you may not nominate yourself (this is mainly for leader and command positions). The person with the most votes will get the role. If you want a role that no one else wants, then you can take the role without being voted in.


If you do not want the role you are voted for, you can opt out of it and another person can be voted in.

Well it was difficult to nominate based on the profiles and what little we've done in the Rp but I went with...


First off I'd read the characters profile and pick two positions I thought they fit best.


Second I only included those who'd posted more than once in the Rp since I dunno if the others are sticking around. :x


Third I voted my own character in his two slots as well assuming that was alright, which I think it was said it was as long as you didn't put your own character down for a leadership spot? If I'm wrong then ignore my own characters votes.


Fourth I agree it was difficult to put anyone in the mechanic/engineer field as nobody seemed proficient in their profiles.


Fifth are we meant to narrow it down to one person voted per category, cause I could do that I suppose. :]

I think it's funny that people vote for Austin (someone with no hunting experience) to be Hunter over people that actually have hunting experience. I mean everyone can starve and live off what the runners bring back while he learns how to do it. LOL

Hey all, time for to tell you why I'd make a great leader.


If I'm elected I promise

  • Not to spend half a season looking for a girl we all know is dead (Im looking at you Rick)
  • Not to turn farmer when the group needs a real leader. (Again Rick? Didn't you learn your lesson in season 2?)
  • Not to keep someone known for being a killer alive only to start a fight with my best friend. (Seriously, that whole Randall affair led to you killing Shane which led to a swarm of 1000 zombies. Nice going.)
  • Not to try to move several thousand zombies out of a quarry pit where they are perfectly harmless (Damn it Rick, this one takes the cake. If Glenn is dead you are dead to me)
  • Not to risk the entire teams life over a box of twinkies.
  • Never to try to hold up in a pub
  • Never take us on a boat to the middle of nowhere
  • Never underestimate the hordes around us
  • Never underestimate the humans around us
  • Keep us well armed and equipped.
  • Keep us well trained and fit
  • To never loose sight of the real condition of the world and put up an allusion (Its the only way we'll become stronger.)
  • To never unnessearily waste lives
  • To lead every charge personally (If I can't do it I won't ask you to do it either.)
  • Find us a good place to hole up. Not a mall or a rooftop, but a tactical place.
  • Provide a detailed back up plan to the back up plan in all possible scenarios
  • To create new society which will be remembered in the pages of history.

Hey, I think Rick is a fine leader. :v


He just had his moments and breakdowns, and anyone in that situation would eventually do the same with enough stress and loss. Atleast he has the brass to keep coming back to the spot and people still follow him. :P


Also the list is adorable.

I'm begging yall please don't ruin season five for me I'm only finishing season four. I'll cry. xD and quite frankly the dude lost his wife killed his best friend and is trying to protect alllooot if people. Poor fella is doin his best haha. On another note I feel Un clean my best friend/ roommate just made me watch 50 shades of grey *drops brain in bleach*
