Fandom Zoids: new century AU in character

"Umm Luna are you okay?" Rex asked after went off on small rant of anger. Then after Xan and Luna had a short conversation and Luna said kinda of sadly about needing to talk Blizzard. "If you need to talk to any we can..." Rec said before Luna kissed him on the cheek. "Okay have a good time" Rex said ignoring the weird things Luna said after.

Then Rex realized Xan asked him to get the box she was holding. "Ohh sorry about that. I'll get the box of... When did we get fireworks?" Rex asked taking the box from Xan.

Luna looks at her food, "Blizzard....I know how you have been feeling don't think it didn't go unnoticed." she looks at him "I know you feel angry and guilt and blaming yourself but...we are partners. we are both to blame, me importantly..." Luna relaxes "I know they want the zoids to be like you...and I would too but.....in all honesty we are the jealous ones huh" She smiles softly "Xan and her leadership skills, how she shows every good quality a leader has....Sora....the smart one of the group. the one who knows more about zoids than anyone, rex the best of the best at what he does. All those qualities I wish I could have...you know...instead of how childish I am...how I am the side lines......how I eat sweets for crying out loud!" Luna sighs "We are a team yes, but I don't know how I ended up with such great team members.......what did I do or become to be a team with them! They're like the perfect duo without me in the picture! Heck I wish I had the ability to show no bounds..." Luna rubs her head, "And I know you don't like who you are...we both don't like who we are.....the feeling of bringing everyone down slowly because of our actions......" Luna looks at her reflection in her food "To feel really needed in a team....in reality we all have our flaws....no one is perfect.....but in my eyes...my team is perfect..." she eats quietly afterwards

No one on her team knew that Sora liked girls. She even had a small crush on Xan before she knew Xan had a crush on Rex. So she burried her feelings. She didn't want to put Xan into a weird situation and the team was the closet she had to having siblings. "No. Your payment is soup and half my earning on the next match." Sora says to Rex with a bit of laughter.

Sora wasn't really into firing off fireworks. Other than lighting the occasional sparkler. She prefer to watch them and see the colors. "If it okay I just watch you to play with the fireworks. I rather watch." Sora said with a calmness and sweetness to her voice.

" If you are not going to use them then go after Luna" Xan said as she looked to the fireworks that were no longer in her arms " As for when we got them, I always had them they are from when i left home" She explained though that answered little just her folks thought to buy her some fire works.

Xan would rather they all be there, but luna was off likely sulking with her zoid and it was best to not eave people to go insane by themselves. She really didn't mind it being just her had Rex but she would rather actually have everyone here having fun that was one thing she wanted out of this friends she could have fun with even if he had to act distant.

"Make sense I guess" Rex said with a shrug. Then he sat the box on the ground and started digging through it, looking at the different kinds of fireworks. He pulled out the ones he wanted to try out. "So do you want to take turns setting them off or just do them as we like" Rex said already lighting a firework off.

Sora didn't really want to go inside and miss the firework. She just didn't want to mess with them. "But Xan I don't want to miss the fire works." Just as Sora finished saying it there was a loud pop coming from the sky. It making her jump from the surprise. Ahhh! What the hell?" Sora says holding her hands in front of her chest.

Luna pats his leg, "Go on buddy get your rest.....you need it" she gets up and heads back. She had a new attitude and smiled, watching the fire works go off standing besides Rex "The fireworks are mighty fine....Sora...Xan....I want to tell you girls something" she replies looking at them "And I really need to get this off my chest...."

Sora doesn't know what was going on with Luna. She hope she didn't upset her in any way. She also wanted to see the fireworks show Xan and Rex were doing. She went over to the box and found sparklers. She grabbed a few and lit them as she headed to Luna and handed her one that was unlit. " We will talk after the show okay Luna. For now let's have fun and watch the show."

"Do as you like " Xan said grabbing a rocket snd setting it off. It exploded seconds latter high in the sky and even Luna came back. In truth Xan kind of wished she could cheer up she had gotten her scolding now it was time to move on. It wasnt like Bilzzard had hurt anyone he was just a little to wild and needed to me domestcated more.

"If you must then speak loudly " She said as if she didnt want to play with the fire works.

"I know how you guys feel about us....but.....honestly I am more jealous of you girls to admit it. Xan your like the BEST at what you do! Every day I idolize both of you girls because of how talent and smart and how you work. I know I can't be those things cause I don't have the same perspectives and thoughts like you guys do, you both are my idols to becoming stronger for the team. I still don't know how I even gotten accepted to be apart of the team but I am glad I did, because I wouldn't have met any more amazing people like you two"

Sora took in what Luna said and felt a bit out of place. She thought to herself yea I could do ns by things but so can the others. I am not unique or special in anyway. At least not more than any other person. Sora feels uncomfortable trying to come up with something to say with out hurting Luna feelings. " I am not really that special and neither is Xan. If we were we be alot higher in ranking. I learn to repair zoids and zoid weapons from my dad because I have small hands." Says Sora as she grabs Rex hand and place it over her. It clearly showing his hand being twice the size of hers. " See my hands are small compared to Rex. Anyway we got a match tomorrow and three of us should sleep and Rex should do the dishes and clean up." Sora says laughing slightly at Rex expense as she leaves everyone for her room.

"Ohh welcome back Luna! Just in time for the fireworks." Rex said smiling before getting back to firing more fireworks. Rex was then a little surprised by Luna had to say, slightly because he was not meched during her speach. Though because mood of the whole thing he decide not to but in.

Rex was surprised that Sora took his hand for her comparison but was more surprised when she said they would go to bed early and Rex would have to clean up. He was about to say something about that when he sighed and figured she was right.

Luna looks at Rex, "Mind if I help you Rex?" she offered. It seemed logical cause she was Plan B as always when it comes to a match, before thinking about sleeping. She knows she should but, everytime in the match she didn't really feel like she was contributing much effort like the three did so why not stay up a little longer to help Rex

It is now the next day. It about 1 hr before team Cobalt Blaze goes again team Dino. Sora been busy out fitting Blizzard, emperor, and shadow with ammo packs. She checks their close range weapons like their claws, pitchers, and teeth. "Blizzard I may not be able to understand you like Luna but I just wanna say you pass check up with flying colors. You and Luna will do good today." Sora says not knowing if Blizzard understood her.

Just as she finish there was knock on the carrier door. Outside stood the old man that Sora order the parts from yesterday. Sora ran over to the door and direct the old man to drop the parts inside and out of the way of the side hatch and launcher for the zoids. She thank the old man for the parts and gave him a nice tip for the delivery.

Xan was not worried about today, or at least she didn't look worried, she had left luna and Rex alone. She might have maybe had something of a crush on him or so she thought but perhaps it was for the best that he and Luna tried it out instead. She had to focus on getting to rank S before it was to late she didn't have her whole life to do this. In truth she didn't know when she might have to go home things could only be put off so long, that also was a thought for another day she should cross the bridges when she came to them.

Right now she saw that Sora was looking over the Zoids, Xan did want them all to compete it self bad to have one person sit back and wait. " You almost done we will need to start moving soon?" Xan asked her tone as ever lacking emotion.

Sora looked at Xan a little puzzled. She was trying to think of a snappy comeback, but decided against irritating Xan. " I finish adding the ammo packs, Sharpen emporer's claws and been working on blizzard. I just got the parts I order. Do we can go at anytime. Are the other two awake?" Sora says with sigh. See went to bed early last night because she knew she be the first up to prepare the zoids for battle. She didn't even grab her version of caffeine in the morning. A popular energy drink on Zi named after Cas system of liger zero. Her favorite was a blue raspberry one called Jager.

" I did not check i assume they will wake one another" Xan said having noticed the two did make a cute pair and perhaps that was for the best. " i did not track them after they started doing the dishes."

This was all matter of fact and spoken in her usual tone though to her it did mean putting aside any feeling she might have for something greater, something she would always have to do. right now they should all focus on the match coming up instead of silly drama there would be plenty of time for that latter. In truth it might be better to stay near to Sora she was more calm than the others and had the motivation Xan wanted out of everyone, in a more direct form. They all had the desire just it manifested in different ways.

" Yyou really do not want to go on a date with them do you?" Xan half asked half said her tone not indicating any real interest.

Rex of course accepted Luna's help and the two were able to finish the cleaning shortly afterwards. The next morning Rex woke up late and came out of his room as Xan and Sora finished talking about him and Luna. "Of course she doesn't. When their some one like me around it makes it hard for other guys to compete for a woman's heart" Rex said hearing what Xan said before entering the room.

Luna had slept and suddenly woke up, quickly getting ready before running inside after rex and arrived "Ahhh!! sorry I am here now awake and ready" she replies before walking over to blizzard and pats his leg, smiling

Sora was trying think of a response to Xan question. When Rex entered and interupted her train of thought. " Our great hero. What would we do without a man in our lives." Sora says with an eye roll. His cockiness didn't interest her at all. "Just so you know great warrior your fly is down." Sora says with a laugh just as Luna walks to Blizzard. She wonders if Blizzard is telling Luna that she worked on Blizzard fangs or not.

Rex shook his head as Sora said his fly was down. "My fly is not..." Rex said before looking down to see his fly was down. He quickly zipped up and whistled trying tp pretend it didn't happen. "Anyways, how your zoid doing here? Ready to take on those dinos" Rex asked curiously.

" Good then everyone is here" Xan said " Even if all of us will not be competing today"

Xan still did not care for being a man down it was like missing a limb but there was little choice this was a match and they did need to points to move up the rankings in truth the money was unnecessary, it was just better to keep a team on edge knowing they might not get repairs if they were careless.

" At least with this money we will not have to try fishing for dinner again, to save a little money" She said referring to her simi failed plan yesterday acting asif she actually meant for them to have to eat what they caught.

Sora remembers Xan side bet. She shudders at the thought of going out with one of these guys. " We better not lose either. My love life in your hands." Sora says with a determine look on her face. She was hopeful that their synergy of their team was better than the dino team. " So do we know what kinda zoids they use. I assume dinosaur type, but that till as vaig as saying they use cat zoids."

" It is a mix it seems, though their theme is prehisoric creatures. " Xan said switching back to the fight coming " The current info says they are being a dark and red horn along with a cunsniper, so long range and strength will be key" Xan continued turning to look to Luna and blizzard.

" You will be very important for this fight to negate and defeat their long range while we deal with their brute force" She said actully having no doubt in Luna and Blizzard they coudl do it so she and Sora woudl just have to focus on the two strong zoids.
