After I had heard about what the plot is /generally about/, I'm avoiding it. The last thing I want in my morning coffee is fanservice. It's a quirk of mine.

The thing with kill la kill though is that yes its fan servicey, but its fan service done right. You won't care just because how amazing the show is.

Hurrah! I can tell you one thing is that I have never seen an anime pull off so many intense episodes in a row. Normally most animes have the big climax in one episode that everyone looks forward to,but kill la kill managed to pull off such a feeling for about 8+ episodes straight.
