The Sop
Overview: A young and determined Zhang Mei seek to become a Xian herself after witnessed the death of her beloved uncle. The story begins when she meets a senior Xian and once a pupil of her uncle in the funeral. This story takes place in The Xian Of Wu universe.

Personality: Calm, dexterous, down-on-earth, responsible and curious about people’s resolution to become a Xian. She trains hard to keep herself and her family alive without having to rely on others. She rarely expresses affection, but cares for her family and those she feels connected to. She hates losing self-control, but also refuses to die without trying her best to survive.

Biography: Mei grew up happily in Jinhar with her parents, siblings, uncle and his wife. She admires her uncle Jianwei and his wife Yue who were both capable Xian. The wife reached madness when Mei was 12. The death of his wife drove Jianwei into alcoholism, he slept through all calls for duty until a Jiu’s raging attack struck the village. He died succeeding in defending the village, a sad yet resolved smile remained on the dead’s face. Jianwei himself did not have much time left before reaching despair.
Mei learnt 2 things from that incident. First, the path of a Xian only brings about misfortune, and mundane humans are mere fireflies under the claws of Jiu. Second, no one is strong enough to protect others forever.
At the funeral of her uncle, she encountered his acquaintance Shi Ci. After a series of events deepened her understanding about her uncle’s past life, she decided to receive guidance from Shi Ci while preparing for the entrance exam of the School of Charms. Mei currently lives alone in the capital for Xian's training. She always wishes that someday, without the Jiu, all villages can grow as half-freely as the capital, and people get full access to things and opportunities that villages of a few thousands people can't provide.

Catalyst: Darts made from sturdy silver-color metals. Water steam in the air support the velocity and throwing distance of the darts.
Element: Ice wraps around individual darts or connects between darts to form the shape of walls, weapons etc. Any kinds of liquid (except metal) and water vapor can be frozen can controlled by Mei.

Personality: Personality: By appearance, Shi Ci looks uninteresting and plain, and if someone says it to him, Ci wouldn't be mad about it. Ever since he was still a child, he has been like that, he always was aware of where he's and never bothered about what people thought of him. As he grows older, Ci actually prefers not to be noticed as much as possible, especially bout being a Xian.
But despite his contrasting appearance, Shi Ci is known for his capable intelligence and vision. He always comes up with more creative ways to evaluate his abilities, making him much more unpredictable from time to time. In combat, he isn't as excited as other Xian but instead trying to keep distance and analyze the situation as much as he can. During his time as a Xian, Ci also studies and looks for ways to improve a Xian ability and health. Because of this, sometimes he is looked down on by some of the traditional Xian but respected by modern Xian.
During his time of training, Shi Ci wasn’t like any other students who liked to focus on offensive styles. Ci knew too well he wasn’t as strong or quick as the other, and the same time didn’t believe in raw violence to be the best attribute of a Xian. He instead focused on studying runes, supportive and manipulating technique. Ci was patient, he believed if he could manipulate his surrounding, he could turn any battle to his favor without fighting. When graduated, Ci usually played a supporting role in any Xian unit, luring and setting trap for the Jiu and letting his comrades finish them off.

Biography: Shi Ci was born a third child of the Shi family, a poor family in Yuanxing. At a young age, Ci was an intelligent child, but his appearance being plain and weak physically made him unpopular comparing to his brothers. Despite so, Ci was happy, he was not interested in attention toward himself and the same time loved his brothers. Among his brothers, Ci’s oldest brother, Shi Hui, was the one Ci admired the most. Hui was the most talented child of the family, kind, smart yet a genius swordsman. Ci spent his child hood looked up to Hui.
When Ci was 14, the town where his family lived was attacked by the Jiu for the first time. Fortunately, before it could become a massacre, an unit of Xian came to aid and protect the town. Leading the Xians rescuers, there was master Zhang Jianwei . Master Jianwei soon took noticed in the Shi family’s oldest child, Shi Hui. To the point he asked the family permission to take Hui under his wing to train him to become a Xian once the fighting done. Ci’s family was excited for Hui to become the first of the family to ever join the honourable Xian warriors. But then things didn’t go as they expected. In the final battle again the Jiu, Hui was attacked by a Jiu when it attempt to go for his family. He fought bravely but without the Xian’s ability, Hui didn’t stand a chance. When they came to his aid, it was too late.
The death of Shi Ci’s brother hurt him greatly. He felt guilty, anger toward himself. The pain and sadness became motivation, a responsibility for him. After the incident, Ci asked master Zhang to take him as his student. Jianwei turned Shi Ci down the first time, but seeing the kid determination more than once, he decided to accept Ci as his pupil.
Shi Ci followed master Zhang for quite a long time until he was old and well-prepared enough to be accepted into School of Charm. After graduated, Shi Ci still followed master Zhang and became a part of his unit for a while before leaving and working on his own.
After a long while, Ci heard about the death of master Zhang, he quickly left his post and returned to attend the funeral. At the funeral, he met his master's niece, the young Zhang Mei, for the first time. She wanted to be a Xian as well, and said that she would require his guidance. Ci was reluctant, he didn't think he could handle such responsibility, especially with the recent depressing death of master Jianwei . But then Ci saw something within the girl, not just something similar to himself back when he was young, but she was a lots like master Jianwei as well. In the end, Shi Ci agreed to take her under his wing.
Catalyst: Ci's main catalyst is a jewel which he calls it the Eye of the Sun. The Eye of the Sun (or just The Eye) is a crystal clear jewel with runes written on it. While the Eye contacting with any source of light (mostly from the sun), it will absorb the light and Ci can either release the light source (to blind his opponent) or use the light source within to create imagery and cause illusion.
If not using the Eye, Ci usually wears it around his neck. In combat, Ci put the Eye on top of a long staff. His fighting style involves wielding a staff, which usually makes a lots of people mistake him coming from the School of Blade.
Element: Knowing that he doesn't have a talent for inflicting pain to others, fate was kind enough to put him under Fire and grant him the talent to manipulate Light. Ever since Ci discovered his talent for it, he's quite happy and excited about it. He spent most of his youth learning thousands of way of making illusions, techniques to duplicate imagery to manipulate and trap his opponents.
The story takes place in a land known as Wu, a land that is at war with a race of monster known as the Jiu. The Xians are the warriors that specially trained to defend the land again these monster and this is the story about them.
