magical time traveling elves
Hello, as someone who hasn't had much luck on other roleplay sites with a few of my prompts, I thought I'd post some here and test the waters! I've had a huge craving with role playing these two and I have a few starters you can pick from that are set around various games in the series! If there are none you like, feel free to connect and we can hash out plots. I'd also be really interested in doing a Twilight Princess set one cause I'm interested in what types of post game interactions can occur!
Basically what I'm looking for in a partner is someone who is decently actively and can post around a paragraph on average! My writing is by far not the best but please have at least decent grammar and put effort into your responses. If things are getting boring, just feel free to tell me and we can work something out. These prompts are mainly slice of life so I understand if you want to throw something interesting into them.
Feel free to message me and tell me the prompt number or other idea that you have!
Prompts:
Prompt #1
Playing: Zelda Looking for: Link Game: Post Skyward Sword Relationship: eventual boyfriend/girlfriend
Zelda sang softly while her fingers carded through Link's hair, arms bracing him up as he slept soundly. It was true, the guy could really fall asleep anywhere. This time he had dozed off while sitting under the shade of an apple tree. The position he was in looked uncomfortable, more than likely going to leave him with neck pains. So Zelda took it upon herself to hold him, something she admittedly had wanted to do for awhile.
It was typical for him to sleep for prolonged periods, usually in one setting. Though something about it had troubled her. When she woke up, Link was already out and about their little cottage of a home on The Surface. Did he have trouble sleeping last night? At this thought, a small frown tugged at her lips. If so, why had Link not talked to her about it? They always talked about everything. It was unlike Link to keep everything bottled up from her. She looked down to see Link's eyes start to scrunch up before opening softly. She hid her troubles quickly and greeted him with a soft smile.
"Hey sleepyhead, did you not get any sleep last night?" She asked, brushing some of his hair away from his face.
Prompt #2
Playing: Link Looking for: Princess Zelda Game: Post BOTW Relationship: eventual boyfriend/girlfriend
Somewhere along the way Zelda had fallen ill out of the blue. It was only a few minutes after they had departed from the Bazaar that she showed signs of feeling a bit under the weather. Pushing herself in the harsh climate of Gerudo Desert probably wasn't the best option, even though Link had urged her to take it easy on herself. It didn't take long for the princess to topple over in exhaustion and soon faint from her ailment.
Link was obviously low on options so taking her to Gerudo Town seemed to be the only reasonable one. With a quick change of clothing, he brought her to the Oasis Hotel where she could at least be under proper conditions. Over the next two days the princess laid in a unconscious, sick daze. Link did his best to seek the help of others and was advised to give her plenty of fluids and elixirs. He'd just recently came back from the Northern Ice House to retrieve some ice to help combat that cursed fever of hers. Otherwise, the knight had been always by her side.
Lightly, he pressed the pack against her forehead and then dabbed her cheeks gingerly. It wasn't until he saw those green eyes open after all this time that a majority of his concern was lifted. Zelda was looking better afterall, with most of the color returning to her face. When she tried to sit up, Link was quick to ease her back down to rest. "No, no. You need to take it easy Princess..." Link insisted, his concern hidden away under the Gerudo veil. He just realized how embarrassing this was, walking around in women's clothing in front of the Princess of Hyrule. A light, rosy flush rested on his concealed cheeks while he continued to help cool her down.
Prompt #3
Playing: Princess Zelda Looking for: Link Game: Post BOTW Relationship: eventual boyfriend/girlfriend
The princess sat by the warmth of the fireplace, hands clutching her blanketed body tightly. Nightmares had made it impossible for her to relax and fall asleep. Even after everything was all over, nothing could keep Zelda from worrying. The way her life seemed to be returning back to normal after these agonizing 100 years was almost too good to be true.
She glanced over at Link who was now sound asleep, a fond smile tugging at her lips. She wondered how he was fairing out through all of this. He seemed to be handling everything better than she was at least. With an idea in mind, Zelda headed over to the foot of his bed, her face barely peeking out of the blankets. It was embarrassing to admit but perhaps if he filled her with the strength she needed to seal away Ganon, he could also aid in warding off these cursed nightmares. However, she didn't know how to exactly go about this.
She had never really shared a bed with anyone before, especially not with a man. The very idea seemed frowned upon considering the morality behind it. Though Zelda felt it shouldn't be considering she was only looking for comfort out of this. It couldn't be that wrong. Sucking in her breath, she finally found some words. "Link...are you up?" Her fingers clutched the blanket tighter while she waited. It would be easy to pass it off as her just being cold and nothing would be made of it, right?
Prompt #4
Playing: Link Looking for: Princess Zelda Game: Post BOTW Relationship: Established boyfriend/girlfriend
After a long journey, it was nice to see the familarity of Hateno closing in around him. The sounds of children laughing and playing in the streets, storekeepers advertising their lastest deals, and the women gossiping amongst themselves. Link was only gone a week yet he felt like he had been away for years.
While finally being home was nice and all, his return was more anticipated by another, Zelda. He couldn't blame her. After being cooped up in their small little cottage for a week all alone, Link would even start to feel a little lonely. Hopefully Zelda had occupied herself with more of her studies and research or spent some time with Purah and Symin. He was sure to hear something new from her considering she was as sharp as a tack and always had extra knowledge useful on hand.
After being greeted by a few people, Link made his way across the sturdy wooden bridge and tied his horse down at the stable. He caught a glimpse of the curtains cracking open and then tugging shut, soon accompied by the sound of the lock unlatching. Either he was really loud or Zelda had been keeping a close eye out for his return. It made his heart tug to think of her missing him that much, his feelings mirroring her own.
It wasn't even a day into his trip and he realized how much he missed her already. He'd already went 100 years without being able to see her and that had been enough alone. Link was just grateful to now recieve her uttermost love and affection. His mind often boggled at the fact that a princess would want to hug and kiss on him as much as she did. She was so smart, beautiful, and down right amazing while he was just Link.
As soon as the door opened, Link had been greeted by a blur. The blur being Zelda's quick bolt out the door to lock her arms around him tightly. The Hero chuckled softly as he was almost knocked back by the intensity of her embrace. Rarely did she act in such a manner like this. Of course she got excited about certain things but hardly to this extent. "I take it somebody missed me?" Link asked, a little winded but still returning the embrace nonetheless. He wasn't sure if his messy, disheveled self was even worthy of such a greeting. Before returning home he tried to clean up a bit but that had been the extent of it.
