S trangers connected by the strings of fate, it's nearly impossible to go against such a thing. Jumbled limbs tumbling into a near-empty classroom, instruments clattering, and shoes flying, they found their way inside the music club room. Completely new to the school, they had barely managed to finish introductions with their classmates before they joined the club, their love of music connecting them without even trying. So they practiced and played until their fingers were split, their voices were raw, and their heads were empty from writing too many songs. But it's what they wanted to do with their lives and they would be damned if someone made them give it up.

Welcome to Your Voice! (If you remember this from my OG account, no you don't lol). This roleplay will follow a group of third-year students who are fighting against the pressures and expectations of their teachers and families as they pursue a music career. The band was formed in their first year after they found some flyers for a music club and so they all made their way up to the third floor to the old music room, only to find a homeroom teacher Sato Ibuki relaxing and eating ramen. He was visibly surprised to see that people showed up but wasted no time in signing them up and properly forming the club. He worked with the five boys every day after school and even got them to place during school events and festivals.
Now in their third and final year of high school, the band has gained popularity within the school and has even branched out into playing at underground clubs. But with a looming competition that their teacher has signed them up for and college entrance exams, the band has a lot of things to think about. What's more important to them, a possibly stable office job or the thrills of being a musician and fighting for your place among the stars? It's up to you to decide as we play these characters and watch as the band moves in various directions towards their goals.
There are five available roles in the band and another five for fan characters that can hang out with the band and help to encourage and motivate them. The roleplay will consist of their final year in high school, various competitions/concerts/events, and if we can, their graduation and post-high school life! This is meant to be a slice-of-life roleplay and pretty casual but fast-paced. DO NOT JOIN IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT TO IT!

Leader โ TAKEN
Lead vocals and lead guitar, he has always thrown himself into his role as the leader. He takes care of his band members better than he does himself and tries his best to keep them afloat. He works tirelessly on his days off to write new songs, practice difficult things, and always think of ways to improve.
Vocals & Bass โ OPEN
Outside of providing backing vocals, he also sings some songs and even does duets with the leader. He is the sole bass player of the group and is almost a second-in-command when needed. If the leader loses his voice, the bassist will fill in for him and take over vocals for the time being.
Guitar โ OPEN
A talented guitarist, he can play a wide range of guitars and is allowed solos like everyone else in the band. Sometimes he will be the only guitar player if the leader chooses not to, giving him plenty of time to shine. He is very knowledgeable about instruments so most of the band members go to him for questions.
Drums โ OPEN
The only drummer and the only one capable of keeping the band pulled together, he is the glue of the group, always doing his best to keep tempo and help out when he can. He is known for leaving his drumsticks around the club room and it has now become a ritual to find the various abandoned equipment before practice starts.
Keyboard โ OPEN
The newest addition to the band, he joined them in their second year and is still getting adjusted to working alongside everyone else. Though this is his second year playing, he still is a popular member of the group and is supported by the other boys.
Fans โ OPEN 1/5
These girls are dedicated fans of the group. They always support them either from the sidelines or in person. These can range from childhood friends and siblings to regular students who didn't know the group before their performances!
