Your thoughts on the Infernal Preview?

I like it so far. While it is in a state that can change, I find it interesting. I was always a fan of the old 2e way, always hated some of Chapters 2 and 1. Loved the heck out all the fluff and stuff, but I realized that the complaints people had kinda made sense.


This new version promises to be fun, and while it looks like my Star-Faring Sword DT will never see a 3e run, the new Shintai system looks like it could grant me a few other chara ideas. (Granted I really do have issues with Point buy powers... I really do. ><)

It looks pretty cool, frankly I love the whole go out there and be awesome. The point buy shintais I think is their ways of doing heretical charms/devil tiger in a simpler way for 3e, as the infernal essentially customize what kind of monster that he wants to become.

I doubt it will be any worse than buying merits or mutations for Lunars. So a very small pool of points and broader range of powers for what you buy.
