Your Favorite(or prefered) Exalted martial arts style

I wrote up a Dragon King-focus Celestial style a few months ago- but I never got around to submitting it, and I finished polishing it.

Basically it's a Celestial MA using the Dragon Kings as a theme.

Submit it.  PM Still or Quicksilver Cheetah for a MA submiting, er, thing, and share with us all.

Ok, guys, seriously, I've got it this time. A Dragon King MA... based on beating up ghosts. And one for demons, and one for Fair Folk.

Eh? Eh?

Yes, and that was unarmored. The [Five-Dragon] style itslef has no armor restrictions. Imagine if he was wearing armor.
Last night I ran a session where the "boss" villian was a lunar sorcerer/necromancer that used moonsilver armor, five-dragon, DBT and some lunar bashing soak boosters. His lethal soak was somewhere in the low thirties.

Here's the cool thing: my players actually discovered genuine tactics, adapting to the fact that their usual "hit it, hard" style wasn't really working. They figured stuff out about their characters that even I didn't know. This is rare for this crew, and I was proud of them. I guess maybe you had to be there.

I also discovered that Flesh-Sloughing Wave isn't as effective as it looks.

Yeah... in my first Solar game, the Dawn caste chose to learn 5-Dragon over Snake or Tiger, just because then he got to keep using his Reaver Daiclave and Articulated Plate with his form charm and the rest of the MA charms.

It was somewhat gross. His average soak was about 25L/30B, and of course, he could increase that with the basic charm from 5-Dragon...

His nickname was Judas "Takes the Hits" Warforger....  yes, he made his character 6 months before Eberron came out.

not everyone has those charms and not every lunar has the high stamina, and even if the spell dosent weaken them much what you just did is still going to seem pretty damn scary, say a Solar and his little army of followers run into somone who uses this on them, the mini army is dead since it kills extra automaticly, the solor having used HGD get to see everyone die in a horrable way, and while the spell didnt really harm em, they still got to watch the effects on their body, that is a powerful mind screw in itself, suddenly this lone guy did somthing to kill off your whole army and did somthing to you, your stronger then your buddys ya, but whos to say its effects are immedt in you?

even without a mechanics effect its going to trip you up and if your smart youll likly run away, since who knows what else this person has up their sleeve

Um, hate to break this to you, but SVM is a single-target spell, not an area-effect one.

Actually, I take that back; I loved breaking it to you.  8)

Oh, and I just realized that the reduction of damage from SVM isn't Stamina-based; it's natural soak-based. Soak-increasing charms, anyone?
