Y'all should do a shipping shart that includes justifications about why you ship it. That's away more didactic.

Trip x Flux Trip first develops feelings for Flux when she opens up--just the slightest--to help calm him after an a fight with Rip. Not just any fight. In this argument, Rip finally managed to hit that special nerve that made Trip question himself. Made him question his place as a Green Lantern. The argument turned into a fist fight where Rip abused the yellow impurity of the Green Lanterns to shatter Trip's barriers, only furthering his self-doubt. Flux realizes this is what bothers Trip the most. Not what others say or do, but himself. If he can live up to what it means to be a Green Lantern. And, in a way, she can relate as the only real fear she has is of herself and what she is capable of. The two bond over this notion and their romance blooms.

Trip x Ash A short fling after a night out. A long, strenuous mission brought the group to the brink and back. Trip and Ash found themselves bonding over a night of Ash proving just how unpredictable and fun a speedster--and a speedster--can be. The chemistry grows from this direction into a heated moment of forgetting their close call with failure. Reality comes in later that it wasn't really sustainable between them, but they remain close friends.

Trip x Karma I don't see it.

Karma x Flux The two become close and bond as the only female members of the group, but that's plain. No. The real connection comes in when Karma opens up about her time with Jinx and Flux explains her own fears and walk with the dark side. It's this shared ground that the two become close confidants in, and sparks fly--if only for a while.

Karma x Rip Only by request. ;) This one is my favorite.

Karma x Ash Karma manages, for just a while, to make Ash slow down and enjoy the world. Her weakness for nature becomes the strength of their budding relationship. It's not much, but in the moment he slows down to really see the world and enjoy the moment, he stops to enjoy Karma along the way. From then on, the Speedster realizes that instead of seeing the world around him as exceptionally slow, he's stuck in the moment with Karma and he always finds himself chasing from there.

Rip x Flux Not gonna lie, I see this as a booty-call relationship. It could start in a handful of ways. From there, on a more emotional level, I don't see the two connecting well. Rip doesn't have that same dark part of him she does, really, but if it did come out, it would be by Rip showing Flux the life he enjoyed. Carefree. Surfing. The ocean. Her disdain of water (or inability to function with it) is something they could work on as a bonding exercise, and equally, Flux could push Rip closer to actually fulfilling a purpose.

Flux x Ash I don't see this one, either.

I'm not posting anything for Josh yet. I don't feel his character as well--yet.

"Riptide isn't hypermasc"
"Riptide gonna punch you tho"

:) :) :)

All comes down to context.

I was more along the line of thinking that Trip was on the belief his barrier would hold--and it didn't.

Should probably keep in mind the slight disparity in abilities. Riptide presently doesn't have anything in his kit that could effectively break a GL barrier from a full-fledged Green Lantern.

Literally, in terms of scaling, both Trip and Josh should be able to put Rip in a bubble he just plain can't break. Let's not forget this.

I'm babysitting for 12 hours today, (r i p), so I'm gonna be pretty much out for the count for the next day. I'll write for Ada as soon as I'm back and not drained from energy.

Um excuse me, WhispFlick WhispFlick , some of us have real jobs that pay in money and need to go to work to earn that money <3

But for real, work was crazy slammed today so I didn't get a chance to check my phone. Slinger is right though, you get paid in cookie reacts that I loving make with my own mouse.

Hey, wait a second.. You have a real job that distracts you from being the #1 true GM. So, uh, what's with the double standards or whatever?
