Fantasy Youkai Koutougakkou

Hanna shrugged, "I'm guessing, we folllw the crowd." She said, grabbing Jake's arm so not to lose him. With a little bit of shoving, she dragged Jake to the Main Office where they could get schedules and all that jazz. "Hanna Cho here." She said to the woman at the desk, who got to work.

Kira jumped, and shook her head, but then stopped. It made the collar around her neck make the stitches on her throat feel even more weird than they already did. Then, she gave in, slowly nodding. "Yeah, I'm lost." She said, she found it more difficult to speak than most due to the stitches, so she usually didn't talk much.

Jake was glad Hana had taken hold of his arm, other wise it would have been quite hard to make it through the crowd. "Hey, I forgot to ask do you know how dorms work around here?" He asked her once they got to the office.

"I can show you to the office if you like." Karou offered the girl. "I need to head there anyway."

"...Its quite..." He responded. And it was true; there wasn't a sound to be heard except for the soft rustling of the wind between the trees and the gentle chirping of the birds. It didn't really show but he had already grown fond of the place...and his new company wasn't so bad either.

Smiling Luna picked her crown and placed it on top of Yukki's head as neatly as she could, giggling at the stoic Yukki wearing a crown. Luna wished she had a camera with her.

Yukki tensed a bit as he saw Luna leaning towards him until he felt something soft and light settle on the top of his head. He realized it had been the flower crown she had been wearing before. Yukki gave her a slightly questioning glance as she began to laugh and giggle.

Continuing to giggle Luna blew at her bangs, "You look a lot more approachable like that!"

Laying back down beside him Luna softly began to hum a melody.

"Approachable...?" Yukki muttered, a bit bewildered. He never really had the need for 'companions'. He leaned back against the tree listening to Luna's soft humming. Most of the time he would have been irritated by the unneeded noise but for Luna...he'll make an exception.

Several different birds flew down and landed on top of Luna, soon she was completely covered in birds stopping her singing Luna giggled at the tickling of their feather on her skin. Asking them to get off her the birds all flew away at once and Luna sighed.

"Wings would be nice."

Yukki gave her an inquisitive stare. He agreed with her opinion, having always had wings since the day he had been born. They made traveling overall less inconvenient and being able to fly...was something he admittedly enjoyed. But he was curious as to why Luna seemed to favor them since she was..wingless.

"...Why?" Yukki asked, surprisingly himself. It was a rare occurrence that he of all people would ask questions, usually opting for silence instead.

Looking at him Luna smiled cheerfully, "I love the feeling of running and feeling free, even though I don't do it much... But I think that if I had the ability to fly wouldn't that give you even more freedom? When you are running you can only go a fair distance until you are forced to stop. But wings would give you the power to get over that obstacle."

Nodding with approval of her own speech Luna hugged her knees and lent her cheek against them.

"...Do you want to 'fly' with me sometime then?". Now Yukki was beyond surprised and was utterly shocked at his bold statement. It was considered a very romantic gesture for his kind to share flights with each other and are usually shared by family, lovers, or close friends. But Yukki reasoned that he was only offering as more of a kind gesture then anything else. He fluttered his wings slightly at his less then reasonable logic.

Luna looked at him with bright eyes, "Really!? I would love to!"

Smiling Luna clapped her hands together and smiled goofily. Yay! This is almost like a dream come true!

Yukki let a small but rare smile grace his lips. He had admittedly been the slightest bit worried that she would reject the offer though at the same time he had no idea why. He felt that her excitement was more infectious than displeasing like most others. Especially since it was over something that he found equally as interesting.

Looking at Yukki she noticed him smiling. Not the bog goofy ones all over someone's face but one that reached the eyes, a true smile. Looking at Yukki's face a little bit more closely Luna smiled.

"You should smile more often."

Placing the flower crown back on his head, Luna giggled again.

Yukki blinked a bit in surprised silence at her statement. 'Smiling more?' The thought and gesture was foreign to him. He rarely expressed his feelings outwardly and had long since forgotten how. Even smiling properly was hard for him to do. It was a sad thought that slightly darkened the atmosphere around him. But his worsening mood seemed to dissipate as he felt the familiar soft and light weight of the flower crown being placed right on top of his head. He glanced at Luna as she giggled. Maybe he could learn how one day.

"You know Yukki, I think that everyone has a bud in them trying to bloom. For some it is easier than others and that just depends on wether or not the person decides to find a new spot of sun or if they will continue to stay in the shade of others," after saying the random piece of what seemed like wisdom.

Luna clapped her hands as she began to sing again clapping along to the beat and smiling at Yukki as she did so. She was a weird girl and she acknowledges that but it doesn't mean that she shouldn't be herself. Remembering slightly sad memories her smile faltered slightly but then returned as she spotted a butterfly and went over to it trying to get the butterfly to play with her.

Yukki silently contemplated Luna's words. He supposed he was too deep in the dark to reach the light of day again. He ran a hand through his dark blue hair as the wind rustled the leaves above him. Streams of light seemed to break through the dense foliage and fell upon his dark red eyes. He watched as it illuminated the darkened patches of grass around him, moving like fireflies among the shadows. The light seemed to rest on Luna's figure as she attempted to play with a butterfly. He knew that at that moment that she was someone that belonged in the light where as he would be forever in the dark. If that was indeed the case then he wouldn't mind becoming her shadow.

Luna looked back at Yukki and smiled at him brightly. He doesn't smile often... But then Luna remembered th rare smile she had seen earlier and giggled a little. Well... He certainly does become bright when he does so... Taking another look at him Luna noticed that flower crown was still on his head. Smiling happily she got him up on his feet.

"Come, come! We need to let these flowers bloom!"

Laughing she jumped up and down giggling happily.
