Max followed the doctor and listened to him intently taking in all of the information. She went a bit wide eyed when he told her about his legs and took a deep breath "Okay...thank you doctor." She said quietly before she went into his room taking a shaky breath seeing how battered, bruised, and bandaged up he was at the moment "Oh Ivar....." she whispered as she sat next to him

Angel yelled taking his anger out on everything before he looked at his brother with broken eyes whem he finally came back to him "I fucking lost her damn it! I should have stayed by her side!" He yelled shoving EZ back a bit before he went to sit in the car his head in his hands as they waited for everyone else.

He frowned some, still feeling groggy from all the painkillers they had him on just reaching for her hand, wanting her to sit with him "Hey... What... What ar eyou doing here?" He croaked out, gripping her hand tight as he could.

EZ frowned some watching him "Is her phone here?" He asked him, trying to check the glove compartment and all the other places she would usually keep it, not finding it anywhere. "This is good... She might still have it on her.... You got her on find a friend right?" He asked him, "Cause then we can track the gps and find where they took her." He explained as Angel stared at him blankly

Max moved to sit on the edge of the bed not wanting to hurt him if she laid with him "Don't worry about that right now baby." She whispered leaning forward and giving him a long gentle kiss on the lips "You're with me okay? You're safe." She whispered

Angel sat there staring at thr ground blankly now in shock of what could be happening to the woman he loved. He was soon snapped out of it though when he felt his brother smack him in the back of the head "What? What did you say?" He asked completely missing it

He frowned some but tried to squeeze her fingers again, “I don’t ... we were doing a job,.. and I think someone shot me.... I don’t remember anything after that.” He mumbled starting to pass out again. They had yet to tell him about his injuries and right now he was just too groggy to take in any information.

EZ frowned re-explaining it to him right as the rest of the charter got down there to them, taking Angels phone from him and started going through the steps to try and track Carmens.

Max gave him a small nod and sighed softly "I know baby, you'll be okay though." She whispered softly to him. She was not about to tell him about his injuries until she knew he was completely stable. She looked over at the door when she saw Ubbe walk in "Hey....he just passed out again." She whispered noticing Aslaug out in the hall "Give me just a minute and I'll step out."

Angel took a deep breath as he lit up a cigarette to try and calm his nerves but it was to no avail "Text Maxxie, I don't think they'd try her but just to make sure she is safe." He muttered to his brother before he went to speak with Bishop

He nodded some to her and stepped over, placing a hand on her back gently "How you holding up?" He asked her quietly, looking over his youngest brother feeling sick to his stomach as he saw how fragile he looked. "Why don't I take you to get something to eat?" He suggested quietly. If more than one person was allowed in at a time then he would never have been asking her to leave his side but their mother was desperate to get in and so he was more concerned with getting Max out of there so she could have the chance.

Carmen was sweating and shaking in the room they'd left her in with all the other women in the truck, frowning some as she felt a familiar buzzing down her bra, reaching in and finding her phone was buzzing with an alert on the find a friend app, swallowing back tears as she realised angel must be looking for her, trying to dial his number but there weren't enough signal bars for her to do that and so she just discreetly shoved the phone back into her bra so any of the Vatos wouldn't find it. Just hoping that they would find her before she got to more dangerous levels of dehydration

Max gave a heavy sigh and nodded softly "Alright.." she whispered quietly before she got up and left the room with Ubbe so that Aslaug could see her youngest son. She sat in the cafeteria poking at her jello while she sat in silence with Ubbe before she finally broke the news "They said he will never walk again.." she whispered

Angel frowned as he pinged her phone trying to use the find a friend thing. It was a faint signal that was going in and out but so far it didn't seem to be too far across the border at the moment. He quickly got on his bike and yelled for the others to follow before he roared off trying to follow the signal

Carmen frowned sitting back away from everyone, not entirely sure what they were trying to do with these people and not entirely sure she wanted to know what was going to happen to her if Angel couldn’t find her.

Ubbe frowned some shaking his head. “They didn’t tell me that when I asked... shit... must have severed the spinal cord.” He muttered frowning some until they heard a call over the system for assistance to the room Ivar was in, getting up with her and took her back up there seeing them trying to get him breathing again, keeping both max and his mother out of there for now.

Max went wide eyed when she heard his room called and quickly got up rushing to it with Ubbe going wide eyed as they rushed in a crash cart "Aslaug what happened?!" She asked her worriedly trying to get back into the room but Ubbe was keeping her back.

The Vatos came in with another man and let him look them over. They picked out a few of them to take out before his eyes landed on Carmen "That one, give me her."

Carmen frowned getting up when they shoved her and grit her teeth, spitting at the guy who’d asked for her, getting another slap but this time her phone came out of her bra and fell to the floor still flashing the gps location.

She was shaking and frowned as she heard Max’s voice. “He.. he woke up and he was trying to sit up but he couldn’t move and he started panicking. I didn’t know how to tell him... he wouldn’t calm down.” She whimpered shaking some.

Max frowned more and shook her head some "Did you tell him what happened?!" She asked starting to panic even more now. She knew her husband, she knew his pride and he was no where near stable enough to take a blow like that to find out he would never walk again.

The man slapped her hard around the face as she spat at him "You will learn your fucking place." He spat at her. He frowned though when he heard a thud on the ground and growled clenching her jaw in his hand tightly "You think you're smart puta?! Kill the tracker and if anyone shows up shoot on sight!" He yelled to the Vatos before he dragged her along

She grit her teeth and kicked out when he grabbed her by her hair, standing up and shoving off of him, walking with him after that swallowing back tears. This wasn’t not going well.

she shook her head and just stared at the door until someone came out to let them know he was breathing again, allowing all of them in this time while Ubbe sat with his mother to keep her calm.

Max rushed in sitting right next to the bed holding Ivar's hand in hers letting a few tears fall seeing the tube now down his throat to help him breath "You'll pull through this, I know you will." She whispered

Eduardo smirked some as they crushed her phone and chuckled a bit as she shoved them off of her. She had balls, he would definitely give her that. As they got to his car and pulled her aside while the loaded the other women into a truck "This one comes with me."

He was being kept lightly sedated while they were getting his strength up again but he was awake and watching her scared just gripping at her hand as much as he could.

Carmen grit her teeth as they started tying her hands behind her back so she couldn’t cause any more harm, finally being pushed into the car, feeling her stomach drop when they had been driving a few minutes and she saw all the bikes driving in the opposite direction. Towards the house she had been held at.

Eduardo paid no mind to the bikes, thinking they were more of the Vatos. He pushed some hair from her face as he watched her smiling a bit "You sure are beautiful, I'm sure you'll make a good addition."

Max watched him quietly making sure he knew she was there and he was okay "You're going to be okay babe I promise. We're okay and you'll be out of here soon enough." She said softly to him

EZ sighed heavily, watching his brother down another drink and got up, heading over. “You can’t get on your bike if you keep this up.” He muttered to him, taking the beer away and chucked it. “We got that meeting later with Eduardo.” He reminded him. Bishop and Taza had asked everyone to join them in that meeting.

Ivar was leaned back in his chair by the window, watching out of it while he waited for max to come visit for the day. He was miserable. He couldn’t fake it anymore with her either. He was trying but he was in constant pain now and physio had proved pointless.

Max was on her way to see her husband for the day making sure to get one of his favorite coffee drinks for breakfast. Things were starting to take a tole on him and she could tell. His physiotherapy was becoming more difficult as he pushed himself to try and walk in some way. He was determined to do it and she encouraged him the best she could but his temper was starting to wear thin. She got into the room smiling softly at him "Good morning handsome, I got a little surprise for you." She said happily

Angel sat at the bar sipping his fourth beer staring at the photo of Carmen he had on his phone shaking his head a bit. He had spent his every waking moment trying to find her. When they found the house and her smashed phone he had lost it. He killed every Vato there and eventually it nearly started a war. Miguel had helped stop it but now in return they had to help him take down Eduardo, another drug lord that was trying to get in on his turf. Today was their first face to face meeting to try and get an 'aliance' in place with him

He frowned some, looking over at her. “Is it going home? That’s the only right answer.” He muttered, pushing himself back over to the bed and got back in then pat the space next to him, reaching for her to come close.

Carmen frowned some when she took Eduardo his breakfast on a tray, “Juan said you wanted to see me?” She muttered frowning at him.

Max sat down with him and placed the coffee on the small bedside table "I'm afraid I haven't been told that yet. They said you're making good progress though and it should be soon." She said softly before she kissed his cheek gently "I brought you a treat though." She said softly handing him the starbucks drink hoping it would brighten his mood a little bit.

Eduardo looked her up and down and smirked some letting his hand travel up the outside of her thigh "Mmm we have company coming tonight. I want you to make sure the girls make this place spotless and that if they so choose give them a good time understand?" He told her softly before he grabbed her wrist tight "Best make sure they do as told." He said giving her a warning look before he let her go off. Carmen had quickly become his favorite play thing once he had brought her over and he made sure to keep her on a tight leash.

He sighed a little and frowned "Thanks." He muttered shaking his head some as he pulled on her, frowning when she just kept walking round the room and tidying "Would you just sit with me?!" He yelled at her, glaring at her for a minute until she came to sit with him.

She frowned some and watched him, swatting his hand away "Or what? They'll get hurt? Like they do even when they do as you tell them?" She muttered, shaking her head and walked off to go talk to the rest of the girls and have them doing different jobs. She wanted nothing more than to get out of there and go home but there was no escaping him and she had resigned herself to this life. She worked her normal chores for the rest of the day until evening came and she was told by him to come downstairs and be cleaning while they were here. He liked to show her off to the people he had meetings with and she was used to it by now but when she was just wiping down the table and she heard the bikes approaching she felt a little hope creep in

Max got up and tidied the room a bit for him throwing away a few pieces of trash but frowned as he yelled at her. She sighed softly and moved to sit with him wrapping her arms around him "Sorry,I just wanted to tidy up." She murmured before she traced patterns on his chest gently.

Angel got off his bike that evening and sighed heavily lighting up a cigarette wanting nothing more than to be at home right now trying to track down Carmen. He walked inside with the boys and frowned seeing Eduardo standing there with a smug look on his face. This guy was nothing but a piece of scum in his books, he could get over the drugs but human trafficking was a whole other story that he could never get with.

Eduardo smiled some, "Welcome men, come on in, I've had a couple of my girls prepare drinks." He told them, leading them through to the dining room, "Carmen... would you please bring our guests their drinks?" He asked her, tapping her ass on her way past him towards the kitchen. She had caught a glimpse of Bishop and the feeling of hope she'd gotten was getting bigger, getting back with the tray of glasses and started handing them all out but she got to Angel and had to swallow back tears. He was right there and she couldn't say anyrhing. He'd threatend her countless times that if she were to say anything she would be shot immediately and she'd seen it happen so she wasn't about to risk it, just trying to send him a pleading look as she handed him his glass but he hadn't looked up at her yet.

He frowned "Why are you tryna tidy up somewhere I'm trying to get out of?" He muttered, rubbing at his face and just watched her "All I want is to go home." He muttered shaking his head some and held onto her desperately. The last thing he wanted was to be taking it all out on her but he couldn't seem to help himself any longer

Max gave a small sigh and nodded softly "I know I just want to make sure you're atleast in a clean area." She murmured before kissing him lovingly "You'll get out of here soon okay? And once you're home we'll spend the first few days just us in bed." She said smiling softly kissing him again

Angel hadn't noticed Carmen at all completely in his own world. Though when he felt a cup rest in his hand he looked up to say thank you but soon went wide eyed seeing her. He wanted to say something but the look in her eyes told him not to. He watched her leave trying to play it off as he was just checking her out and went on with the meeting

She frowned and carried on with what he was asking her to do, not saying a word the whole time until after the meeting was over and she was called back to the room, making her way to him, seeing he was talking to Angel 'Ah, here she is... my best girl... show this young man a good time. To new alliances.' He told Angel and clapped him on the shoulder while Carmen took his hand in silence and led him away to one of the spare bedrooms they used to entertain guests, getting inside, locking the door and turned to face him, not having a moment to breathe before his arms were around her and it was all she could do to hold in the sob, gripping at his shirt tightly, tugging him to the ensuite and turned the taps on, shutting the door in there as well so no one would hear them. "Oh Angel." She whimpered, shaking a little.

Ivar frowned and just held onto her "It's where I'm mostly stuck anyway." He muttered, frowning some and rest his head back, holding her tightly, "I don't understand why they can't fix this." He muttered, gritting his teeth a little and looked over at the window "What a fucking waste." He spat as he finally started getting drowsy again from his morning dose of painkillers and started drifting off, leaning against her.

Max gave a small sigh and kissed his cheek gently holding him close to her "Rest babe, you got physical therapy soon." she murmured softly to him. When he finally fell asleep she gave a heavy sigh and cried quietly as she watched him. She was scared to death about loosing him right now to this. She looked over seeing the door open and sighed softly seeing Aslaug come through the door "Its not a good time Aslaug."

Angel chatted up with Eduardo after the alliance was made chatting him up about Carmen just trying to seem interested about her. When he finally got her into a room he pulled her into his arms inhaling her familiar scent. He followed her quick into the ensuite bathroom and looked her over letting tears fall "I thought I fucking lost you." he whispered kissing her lovingly and holding her close to him "Are you okay? Tell me everything you can." he told her quietly wiping her tears as she sobbed in his arms "I got you babe, I promise."
