The Summer had seem like it had just begun on this vibrant Wednesday morning. A body shaped itself underneath an assortment of blankets that snug to the body like a shield. A delicate hand removed itself from the cocoon and grabbed the iPhone6 that was on the nightstand beside the bed, turning off the alarm that was on the phone. A female emerged herself from the bed and walked over to the curtains, opening them up to let the sun shine directly into her room. It was the second week of Summer and she was happy to have come back home to Bridgeport, Connecticut.

A male's voice called out from her behind her that breakfast was ready as she nodded her head. It was her brother. Someone she often got along with him but other times couldn't stand him. Her eyes fluttered towards her iPhone6 as it was ringing and she answered it, dropping her jaw at the news that she had just received. One of her best friend's had just died of a heart attack. It was a call she wasn't expecting at a moment like this. Morgan ended the call and walked down the stairs, sulking a little bit now as her brother, Micah raised a brow at her. "
What's wrong?" She sat down with a stunned look plastered against her face. "Mr. Monroe just died." Micah looked at her and walked over to her, comforting her into his embrace. "You going to be alright?" Micah asked her as she sniffled with the the nod of her head.

"
I have to go by there this afternoon since I was left in his will about his property." She smiled softly as her brother put the plate of breakfast in front of her and she proceeded to eat, slowly. After breakfast, she got up from the table and went out back to the patio and leaned against the balcony, crying her eyes out. She was close to Mr. Monroe and he was like a second grandfather to her. In the back of her mind, all the memories of Mr. Monroe also lead to thinking about Sam. She tried to shake her head of Sam's memories but couldn't as she wiped away her tears then made her trek back inside.

While inside, she went back to her room and picked out a yellow sundress and white flat shoes to go along with it. A few minutes went by and she emerged from a steamed filled bathroom that smelled like Apple Cinnamon. She sat down in front of her vanity and applied a small amount of makeup on her face before placing her outfit for the day. She reviewed herself over in the mirror as he hair was cascading down her back. She walked down the stairs and told her brother that she'll be right back. She grabbed the keys off of the counter and went outside.

Morgan backed out of the driveway and proceeded to go to Mr. Monroe's place. It was a nice, country house that was adorned with a small garden in the front of the house but a bigger garden behind the house. There was a bright, ocean colored shed behind the house as well. Morgan parked her Volkswagen Bug beside the house, only to see that someone was at Mr. Monroe's place already. She turned her engine off and got out of her vehicle, walking with hers folded over towards the male with a smile. "
Uhm, hey." She said softly, waiting for the male to recognize her presence.

Chestnut Brown eyes stared out of the plane window as it came to a landing. A male silhouetted a part of the plane as he walked down the stairs and directly into the airport. He went over to the baggage claim and grabbed his luggage then awkwardly smiled at the female that stood beside him then lowered his head while walking away. He walked outside and eyed around, seeing his mom greet him. "
How was your trip?" She asked him. Corey smiled but said nothing.

His mother sighed at him as she helped him load his luggage up in the trunk of the car. Corey insisted that he'd drive and his mother accepted his request, handing him the keys as he got in the driver's seat and waited for his mother before driving out of the airport's parking lot. After about thirty minutes of driving, they pulled up to their townhouse and into the small driveway. Corey shut the engine off and leaned back with a sigh. "
Are you happy to be back?" His mother asked him as Corey still didn't reply but instead just closed his eyes, reminiscing about the perfect memories he use to have here.

"
Glad to be back, actually." He said towards his mother, opening his eyes and turning to look at her then got out of the car. He proceeded his trek through the door with his luggage and went up to his room. "Dinner is at six! We're having guests over." Corey sighed softly, opening the door to his room to see that it has indeed been untouched. He sat his bags down on his bed, looking at every piece of item in his room and making sure they were perfectly aligned. His mother came upstairs and leaned against the door frame, smiling. "No one has been in here since you left." She said while turning around and going down stairs to get dinner started. Corey sat down on his bed with a soft sigh.
