Epiphany
Proverbs 17:9
Ms. Koto's enthusiasm was underwhelming but not particularly surpirsing. What was surprising was the admission to drinking on the job. ...Before the job? Was there even a rule about that? Perhaps there wasn't because no one she knew ever had.
Not that Agent Weaver had any business judging someone else's self-destructive behavior, given her own.
"As you wish," she said primly. Weaver picked up the set of keys for one of the vehicles (she's not particular about which) and tilted her head in the direction of the door.
But at the door, she turned back to the Field Director. Then she flashed a smile and said "Be seeing you, Ms. Wright."
At which point she got on with the mission.
