Fandom X-Men: The New Class

Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters has been the home to mutants for many years. A safe haven if you will. Even in this present day 2014, mutants are still not accepted in society, looked down upon and killed daily. Hate crimes are at an all time high. To make matters worse a new group of evil mutants have appeared, led by Magneto. He has gathered mutants and is back to his old ways. The X-Men have stepped up their game and a new batch of recruits is just what they need. Just so happens that the new school year is starting and fresh faces have appeared. They could be a hero or they could turn against the X-Men and join the New Brotherhood. Only time will tell.


Rules (Gotta have em' sorry)

3. Be literate, have proper grammar and spelling. (Don't tlk lik dis)


4. No overpowered mutants, no powerplaying, godmoding or perfect characters.


5. 2 characters max


6. At minimum a paragraph (5-12 sentences)


7. Post once a day or more if you can. I don't want this to die.

Xavier was sitting in his office ( xD Obviously!) thinking about how the day was going to start out. This was after all the beginning of a new school year, in which more mutants would come and ask for the help of the famous Charles Xavier. Once again he would have to put up with screaming, near deaths, children with no respect for there elders and anything else imaginable! He groaned in annoyance, then clicked a button and spoke over the intercom.


"All teachers and helpers to the front doors now please, we will soon be inviting our newly found students into our big home. Make sure everything is darn close to perfection before you leave. I will see you soon."


He smirked and made his was to the front door hoping that he would look his best, after all this was his first day with his new students. All ready though he could tell someone was gonna be late, but they would show up. Just he had no idea when. (My character )


He exited out of his office, and rolled towards the front door seeing most of his staff there he was prepared for the new year. The year of the Mutants, not ones that harm, but ones that help and understand. He smiled as the doors were opened.

Yukino Hoshia (Binary)


Location; Cafeteria


Mood; Determined


Yukino was clacking away at his laptop in the cafe area. He had a bunch of snacks scattered around him. He himself had gotten there early and set right to work on his laptop. What was he working on you ask? Beating some asshole's high score on a game. He had been the high score holder for three weeks, before this guy came along and stole it from him. He bit into a pocky stick and chewed. His eyes set into a determined gaze. "Oh come on!" He said as he died for the fifth time. He could just use his powers and make himself have the high score but, what fun would that be? He took a sip of his iced coffee and scowled.

[Zero]

Walking up to the school in a black leather jacket with a hood up over his silver hair. Zero looks around the school seeing the teachers and helpers, he sighed as he reached in his pocket and put a pair of leather gloves on as he walked up and shook hands with each of the teachers. Looking at Xavier he inclines his head and holds out his hand. "Professor its a pleasure to meet you."

Skipping up to the school humming a light tune as he looked at all the teachers, helpers and other students around the school. There were so many and he knew he was going to try and be friends with everyone of them. Looking around he spotted a bald man in a wheelchair that he knew must be Xavier with a silver haired boy. Beaming at his find he skipped up to him and introduced himself after the silver haired boy." The names Saki Haven professor its great to meet ya."

He walked into the school building through the main front doors, wearing a blue/grey-ish jacket, blue jeans, and a large scarf that covered his mouth, while also flowing down to his knees. He was worried about coming here, as the only people who had ever taken care of him as long as he could remember was always strangers, which never did end well. Carrying a backpack with some notebooks and school supplies given to him by some of the government officials that had been taken care of him since they found him in the warehouse. He continued walking and looking around the school, occasionally asking which teacher taught which class. Before he realized it, he had gotten lost, and couldn't see anyone nearby. He decided that he would just have to continue walking and not use his powers, which his caretakers told him everyday since they had seen him.

 

[Athens]

Elliot sat in the cafe area a good distance from Yukino typing furiously on her computer. She smiled triumphantly once she saw that she still held the top score on a game, she had tried out last week. A friend of hers from the city had suggested it, and now in simplest terms, she was addicted. "Come on, come on. Just beat your high score Eli, even by just 10 points." She grumbled to herself, tapping furiously on her keys. "Come on.... YES!" Elliot ducked her head, and looked around innocently as other students stared at her. She smiled triumphantly, seeing as she had beaten her original to score by 110 points.

ELI She typed in her nick-name and sent in the newest top score. Go Elliot, now let's reward ourselves with a nice Hot chocolate with extra whip cream. Elliot walked over to the cafe counter, and bought her drink, with the smile still planted firmly on her face.​

 

[Vol]

A flow of students, teachers and other personnel walked by him whilst he kept his head low to avoid eye-contact. Casper didn't intend to make his first impression on others as a shy type, but he couldn't help it since of his condition.


The noise of stampeding feet on the floor of the school didn't make it easier for him either.


Casper started to lift up his head slightly as he heard an announcement come through the intercom. While his head was raised, he was looking at a small reflective glass panel, a window. From that window, he saw that he had something above his baggy beanie. A dreary medium-sized cloud solemnly floated in the air. Grey pupils blinked at the reflection before quickly walking away from it.


He clutched his wrist and continuously rubbed it, anxiety running through his body. The cloud won't go away, even if he tried to force it by will. Most of the time, he didn't mind it since it always appeared whilst he was at home, but now since he was in public...


Casper's eyes was focused on the ground now, while thoughts of wondering where he should be going ran through his head.


He took care on not bumping into other people, but since the boy was so focused on keeping his anxiety under control, he accidentally crashed into another student. Casper wheeled backwards and saw the student's backpack fall onto the floor. "...!"

Yukino slammed his laptop closed in irritation. He was beaten again, that high score was so close to being his. That was when he noticed something or someone. The girl that just passed him was the same girl that was in the picture on the game. This was his rival, the one that stole his high score? You had to be kidding. He scoffed and put his laptop in his bag and stood up. He whipped his head around and crossed his arms. "Yo, you over there. What do you think you are doing, beating MY high score." he said with an annoyed face. He wasn't really angry, annoyed yes but he wanted an answer. He blinked "Well?" he said sharply. This school year hopefully wouldn't start with a fight.

[Zero]

After meeting the teachers Zero walked around and found the weight room. Figuring no one would get mad he walks over and adjusts the weight on it to 500 pounds. taking his gloves off he places his hands on the bar. Concentratin on the weight he lifted it as if it weighed 100 pounds. Doing 20 bench presses he sets it back and resets the weight. "Man i can get so many people pissed at me here." He says before putting his gloves on and heading toward the class sign ups.

As another student bumped into him, his backpack fell off, and landed on the floor. Luckily he had zipped it up, so none of his supplies had went across the floor. "Oh, sorry!" He said to the boy getting back up quickly and grabbing his backpack. He quickly put it back on his back again. He tried to run in another direction as to avoid embarrassment, but instead ran into a wall, and fell back on the ground again.

Stopping he goes and kneels by the guy. "You ok?" Zero asked and offered his hand to the guy.

Elliot looked up from paying for her drink and smiled in confusion at Yukion. "I don't understand- Wait. I know you, you're that guy from that one game." She raised her eyebrow as he questioned her angrily. "Well, I was informed to try the game by a friend, so I did?" She didn't understand exactly what he was so angry about. Elliot was just hoping that he wasn't one of those Sore Loser gamers who got mad whenever a girl beats them or when they're no longer the top score, because that was the impression Yukion was giving off on her.

Xavier smiled as everyone slowly found there place, he loved how independent some of these kids were they were so unlike the students of his first years. He felt like he should call a school meeting as of the fact that nobody knew what they were supposed to be doing. He sent a mental message to everyone the read out in there minds. "Go to the courtyard please. There is important information to be explained. If you have no idea where you are going look at the map that you should have picked up when coming in." He smiled then made his way to the courtyard and weant up on the little stage/ledge thing. Then waited for everyone to make there way there.

Saki began exploring the school after e met the teachers. After all if he was right it would soon be his new and only home. His parents hadn't been very happy when they found out about his powers. Stopping to cringe at the memory absently rubbing his left wrist which still bore a scar he continued walking intent on discovering every nick and crany of the school so he could see and protect it better. He was forced to stop when Xavier sent a message about a meeting and pouted as he turned and began heading to the courtyard.

 

[Zero]

(No my character isn't at all from that anime. And my character is still learning his powers. Later on his powers may advance into seeing or being in a specific radius of him.

Hearing a voice in his head, he remembered how one of his caretakers talked about The Professor and him being able to read minds and stuff. He quickly got up, grabbed his backpack with his map held out with his hands, and ran to the courtyard. After about a few minutes, he finally found it was the area with the statue. Upon arriving there, he saw alot of other people who would be students like him here. A bit nervous, he was wondering what classes his caretaker had set him up to take, and who would be in his classes with him.

Storm stood in the courtyard watching as the students steadily filtered into the courtyard, her white hair fluttering in the wind. "What have you called us here for professor?" She asked Xavier, walking up to stand next to him. It was a wonderful day, and a new school year. Storm breathed in contently, closing her eyes to soak in the sun. (@HollyLeafForever )

Yukino sighed and rubbed the back of his head "Sorry I have anger issues." He said and picked at his jeans. He could get over protective of his score, but it honestly wasn't that big a deal. He held out his hand "I'm Yuki, or Binary. A technopath" he said with an awkward smile. He heard Professor X's voice and ran to pack up his sweets but only getting on Pocky stick out. He held it out for Elliot "Good game" he smiled.

 

[Athens]

Elliot shook her head, signaling that it was no big deal. "Elliot, but my code name is Silver Wisp." She looked up with shock -she'd never get used to the sound of Professor X's voice in her head. She smiled as Yukino gave her a candy. "Right back at ya, now I would hand you something back, but all I have is this." She held up her Hot Chocolate smiling sheepishly. "I'll be sure to give you something later on today, and don't try to argue with me, I won't take no for an answer." (@Nico )

Professor X, smiled at storm. "Yes it is quite the day, not that you might have changed the weather though right?" He asked smiling, he looked down on all his students. Then began to start his speech "Hello new students, I if you did not already know am Professor Xavier. You are here because your different then everybody else. Because maybe you can see things and maybe you can do things unimaginable. But either way, you have not been able to fit in anywhere else or you never tried. I am very proud of all of you for having the courage to come out and go to school here. I know all of you must have a lot of questions and I will not be answering them all right now, but I will answer a few now. All of the teachers know your powers, we are quite aware of what you can do. We all also know what troubles you have had at home or anywhere else. Now that is the end of my speech, you will find any information you need to know in you rooms." He smiled as he went to leave, "Oh and there will be someone here tonight, as she could not make it sooner. I do suggest you wear you headphones or the earplugs we left on your stand, because she is a handful." He laughed and left the stage.

Leo walked over to Yukino and Elliot and introduced himself "Hey, sorry to intrude, I'm Leo, AKA Shift" Leo winked and continued "And you guys are?"

Before Casper could react, the student he bumped into grabbed his fallen backpack and ran into a wall. He stared at him for a few seconds, not knowing what to do until the boy got up and rushed off somewhere else. Grey pupils blinked but then closed in relief. A small part of him wanted to be with someone but rest didn't since there was a chance they wouldn't understand sign language.


As Casper started to walk to wherever his feet would take him, a voice rang in his head and he stopped walking. It sounded like a older man's voice, maybe Professor X? He was directing him to head to the courtyard. But Casper didn't know which direction was the courtyard until he noticed a steady stream of students going outside. The small frown fixed on his face turned into a worried one as he quickened his pace to go to the courtyard.


Finally in the courtyard, the little cloud hovering above his head shrunk a bit but still visible to the view of others. It was a colour of light grey now.

Leo was upset he was late so he hurried in and hoped he hadn't missed much "That was THE professor X" he thought to himself. He was honored to be in the presence of such greatness as he clinged onto his words. Leo walked over to Yukino and Elliot and introduced himself "Hey, sorry to intrude, I'm Leo, AKA Shift" Leo winked and continued "And you guys are?"

Storm smiled innocently. "Of course not professor."


"You're not intruding on anything." Elliot watched Leo with an amused smile. "I'm Elliot, AKA Silver Wisp." She mocked his voice as she introduced herself. She had been listening to the professor's speech from the back of the crowd, not feeling the need to push her way any closer, and find herself stuck between a bunch of rowdy teenage mutants. "So I'm guessing you're pretty excited?"

"Yeah, it's great to actually be here, I've heard so much about it. So.." Leo had never met another mutant and was kind of relieved there were so many like him with an uneasy smile he asked "So, what's your mutation?"
