I sent out the writing for Strawberry's Jean post. I'll give you a heads-up, it has a lot in common with Uncanny X-Men #319 from 1994, but with a different context and some details changed to fit our setting. I felt it was a great canon moment that would be criminal to omit entirely.

damn, that was an amazing read from everybody so coming up is issue 2: Nightmare of Future's Past, the current time and place will resemble that of the dying universe in Doctor Strange 2 and there will be an alternate future i'm calling Nightmarica set about 10 years down the way, the objective for anybody who wants to be left behind in the dying universe is basically just do damage control and save what little they can, and since the powers of Prof X don't work on vibranium and adamantium then Wolverine will be at least one of the ones left behind, as well as Legion who can basically come back from anything. the future storyline however, imagine your character's worst nightmare and age it by ten years, take Rogue for example her worst fear could be that she touches and kills someone, taking all of their power with her, if this is done constantly for 10 years she'd be a friggen powerhouse or a bomb waiting to go off. Also, this issue ive decided will be 2x the parts of the first (so being 10) every odd part (so 1,3,5,7,9) will be about world building from a non mutant character's perspective of what's going on both in the dying universe and nightmarica, that also gives the characters you guys write some room to breath and develop more, but the 10 parts will just be with this issue before we're back to regular 5 parts. Also, if you guys want to who are partaking in Nightmarica, you can create character sheets for your future characters so we can get a handle on the who's who of it all, but don't worry about them being accepted or anything. Any questions or concerns about what's coming up?

Well, I could see a nightmare version of Rogue having an absorption aura as a secondary mutation; it's bad enough she harms anyone she touches, but being unable to exist in the same room as another person is even more hellish.

now that the holiday season is more or less over, time to get back to writing. How was everyone's holiday? get any goodies? It was my birthday on the 19th, so i got sushi for lunch, bought 50 bucks worth of yugioh and pokemon cards, saw Mufasa in a theatre where the seats reclined, then on christmas with my dad my stepmom got me a lego version of the ship from Skeleton Crew from Star Wars which took me 3 days, i bought myself some comics including Absolute Batman #3 and the collected editions of House of X/Powers Of X and then i bought myself Dead Rising Deluxe as it was on sale

A quiet affair for me. Just me and my brother this year. Got each other a few games each and he got me a MEGA Pokemon Motion figure that I am still in the process of putting together.

little update on issue 2 part 1's progress for you guys, i'm 1 section of 11 done (like going from Immortal City to modern day being 1 section) i took a break during the holidays, and then did a bunch of brainstorming for how i want it to go now i'm putting it all in written form. If not tomorrow (simply because i don't work tomorrow, thus i have a boat load of time) i'll have it up presumably by the 7th which is my next day off

IC has been posted everybody, in case you all had the same question, Nightmare rules Nightmarica from the White House in each world, think of it like Battleworld from Secret Wars.

Also sorry, i had to get the exposition out of the way to set the issue up so if it feels too exposition heavy, thats why and i'll change it if folks have an issue

Hey, sorry about disappearing everyone, I was just so busy with real life issues like major health issues for myself and my family members. I did really like this roleplay, and Thatguy1 has graciously allowed me to come back as Northstar and Blink. I’ve read through the IC thread, though I’ll probably need to read through it again before posting as it was a lot of writing. Anyways I’m ready to jump back in whenever is a good time story wise and Thatguy1 gives me the go ahead.
