Fandom X-Men: A New Generation

(Super sorry I haven't been on most the day. I was in the great wilderness known as Lake Erie for most of today. I'm almost done catching up on all the posts, so far looks awesome. Members of the brotherhood, my plan to get everyone together is going to commence soon, so just go to the meeting that magneto is calling. Also, I hope you don't mind me switching to third person instead of first person writing, I figured it would make thing less confusing since everyone else is doing third person.)

Eve did one last sweep of the roof, and upon seeing nothing of interest she walked to the edge and looked at the ground that was about 20 feet below her. She could have just gone down the ladder, but that wasn't any fun. So she took a few steps back and ran off the roof, spreading her wings and letting herself glide to the ground, landing close to the back doors of the warehouse.

She tucked her wings against her back and ran inside, heading for the main room, it was the only place where they would be able to house a meeting for so many people. Along the way she saw a girl leading what looked like a silver man walking down the hall. (@PKCV2 ) Eve stopped for a second, "If your going to the meeting, that's the wrong way." She said, looking at the girl and her companion carefully.

Tali and her companion continue their venture through the unfamiliar warehouse...which apparently was her base of operations. Together the two had checked empty rooms, rummaged through boxes filled with assorted items, and stared out the window...nothing noteworthy was here, why had she ever decided to come here?

Lost in her thoughts of self deprecation, she hadn't noticed the mutant off in her blind spot.

"If your going to the meeting, that's the wrong way."

She flinched violently, her silver friend melting to the ground in a puddle, a consequence of being surprised. Slowly Tali turned to see the owner of the voice, who happened to be a blonde. She gave her a weak smile and a small wave.

"How did you...where did...um...maybe you wouldn't mind showing me where this meeting is. My name is Tali...if you were wondering."

Tali stepped towards the girl, hand held out. Willing the puddle to return to her body, a single line extended from the mass of mercury, the glob shrinking as it slowly became a thin line, snaking across the floor and seemingly going right into Tali's calf.

Eve watched as the silver man melted into a puddle on the ground. "Cool ability." She noted and gave the girls hand a quick shake. "Most people know me as obsidian, but in here you can call me Eve." She said. "Just follow me, there holding the meeting in the main room." She took off at a slow jog in the direction of the main room. "It something big, everyone's going to be here." Even though she was a little unsure about her feelings about whatever was going to happen after this, Eve could keep the excitement from her voice.

A couple of bullets dunked off Peter with no effect, he ran towards a black minivan, grabbed it, and pushed it between the cops firing and his allies. There were more sirens in the distance, he had made the simulation create one SWAT team and he looked forward to how the team would react. He was happy with how quickly Sean had accepted his role and started the simulation. Some students when abruptly thrown into the leaders role protested it at first, Peter certainly had when Scott did it to him a few years prior. As he knelt behind the van, out of the way of the bullets, he looked toward Sean again, awaiting his next instruction.

Tali only nodded at the girl's compliment and introduction, letting her hand fall to her side after a rather firm handshake. Eve took off to the meeting in a jog, thankfully she was going slow enough for Tali to keep behind her, only 2 big strides away. Her mind was wondering about the amazing powers she was about to see. If what Eve said was true, there should be a lot of mutants...hopefully.

The thought of being surrounded by people like her, shunned and ousted from society just because they were different, made her more than a little excited for what was to come.

"So...what do you think this meeting is for? We get greenlighted for wreaking havoc? T-that'd be real nice."

She could only try to fill the silence so that the sound of their footsteps wouldn't be the only thing heard.

Eve looked back and smiled at the comment about wreaking havoc. "We can only hope that we would be that lucky." She said over her shoulder. "Whatever it is, I have a feeling it's had something to do with the X-Men. Why else would he call so many of us here. I can tell you no human is worth this much effort."

Just then Eve slowed down to a walk and turned to walk through a set of double doors. In the main room, there were tons of mutants. She had never seen so many gathered in one place.

Tali bristled at the X-Men comment, as far she knew (which was whatever Magneto had told her when she had woken from her second faint attack), the X-Men were enemies, mutants to make it worse, they wanted to ally with humans, as if something like that could ever happen, they were too trigger-happy for peace.

Eventually they came to double doors, in what Tali assumed was the main room, an inconceivable amount of mutants were already making themselves comfortable, Tali could only stare in awe, mouth slightly open. How had she not come upon this room while she was exploring?

Taking an empty spot beside the double doors, she stood off to the side, waiting for the meeting to start. From her position, if somebody pushed those doors open with force, it'd swing right into her face, she didn't move, too much excitement was building up inside her mind ad body.

Fray late to the simulation watches from the observatory panels. Interesting choice of simulations I wonder how they will manage. Her tongue feel dry in her mouth, "Coffee" she makes a circle with her finger opening a portal and then a cute cup and plate float up from the portal and landed in her hand. The steam resonating from the black coffee warming her face. Fray sipped and continued watching interested in how this will play out.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kamala slid into the abandon warehouse. She calmly walked into the area with the others already crowded around. "Has it started yet" she asks in a cold monotone voice not really caring about the answer. She finds a free box and sits on it, her cold eyes stare at what is to be her new comrades. This is it? We need more people to turn dark. Weren't children today suppose to like power? She thought to herself. She sighed.
North had joined the crowd of mutants and sat along them waiting for the meeting to begin. He looked at the crowd of his fellow abominations looked restless. "I wonder when this starts? I want to see the great Magneto with my own eyes." North still had his board but it rested on his lap.
At the corner of his eyes he saw two more mutants enter the room, Ladies. "More come, I hope these are the last."
Eve looked around and didn't see much room to sit left. I shouldn't have done that extra sweep on the roof. She thought. Next she looked up and saw that there was some space up in the rafters. "I'll see you after." Eve said with a quick look at Tali, then with one quick move of her wings she propelled herself up to the rafters and sat down.
No sooner had she done this everyone started to get quiet, and in the center of the room magneto stood on a makeshift stage. He gave a short beginning speech, superior race our time is now kind of stuff, and there was plenty of cheering. Then he finally got to the point of all this. "We need information. To try and fight them with know knowledge of what new team they have gathered would be unwise. So several of you have been chosen to infiltrate Xavier's school. Find out everything you can, try to fit in. Our success in this war depends on you." He said and then someone else came up and started calling names. Eve's was among them and so was Tali's. This wasn't exactly the havoc wreaking she had in mind but this was pretty close to it.
Apart from small bits of clapping, Tali sat through the meeting quietly, trying to absorb every word the man named Magneto was speaking. She only nodded and clapped approvingly along with the more rowdy mutants. Her ears perked up as he mentioned infiltration of the X-Men's base/school, a bit of nervousness flooded through her, she had seen some of the mutants there already. Those deadly looking adamantium claws of Wolverine, the explosive nature of Storm's powers, the hulking beast of a man named Colossus, the body-splitting lasers of Cyclops, the tricky and disorienting abilities of Kitty Pryde, and a whole other cast of mutants she had never seen before.
As if to confirm her worries, her name was one of the ones called for the job.
What? Why?! Is it because I don't look like a murderous villain? Should I feel bad about that? What enemy is going to take me seriously if I can play as a good little mutant that goes to school?!
Managing to get herself and her random thoughts under control, Tali patiently waited for everyone to leave, maybe she had to wait for a debriefing of sorts.
North was impressed by Magneto, He spoke with a strong and father like voice. He invited enjoyed the speech, They were talks on how they were held down and the mutant were the alphas. This cause a uproar of cheering that North found himself doing.
As the person who called of names after magneto spoke he was confused on the fact he was one of them. Why him, He was 22 and the only way to pass as a student was for him to shave and cut his dreads some. He didn't want to do this but looking at the reward of it. Magneto would praise him for this, He was trusted to gain information. North stood up and looked over the crowd. "I Kenny North accept the assignment. For the Brotherhood!" He shouted proudly putting up his fist.
Kamala smiles this was interesting, she expected the we are the future speech from Magneto from what she had seen on television. However her name being called was a surprising, she had done lots of information gathering in her time but not in a school at her age, she was giddy for the challenge. Hmm how will I do this the seductive teacher? The shy student? The X-men are so pompous maybe the skilled woman with a heart of gold. She sits pondering the possibilities.
After the names were called people started to leave the main room, with the exception of those of the mutants who had their name called. As soon as there was a clean spot on the floor Eve flipped down from her perch in the rafters and landed softly on the ground. She was sure Magneto would talk to them in more detail about what they would be doing. She looked over and saw him motioning for them to gather at the center of the room. So Eve walked over with the rest of the mutants, she wasn't quite sure why she was chosen for this, but there must be some kind of reason.
As the names of the other candidates were called, Tali couldn't help but discreetly laugh the man who yelled and threw his fist into the air as he stood above everyone else. Then she looked at a girl who looked to be planning something devious for the school, dangerous and coy.
During her analyzation, Magneto beckoned the mutants whose names were called to the center of the room. Of course, Tali wasted no time getting to her position, not wanting to spend another minute in this warehouse.
Macy, or Anima, was in battle mode. Her training with Kitty had paid off. She instantly morphed into a raven and flew out of danger and made one less target for the cops to shoot at. She listened carefully when she saw the SWAT team pulling up. They were all sorts of decked out in anti-mutant gear. They charged at the group of X-Men like they had no fear, stun guns at the ready. Gravixx shouted out more commands, "Kayln! Can you put up a wall of fire between us and them? It might hold them back until Storm gets here!" Noticing Anima in her bird form he shouted, "Anima! Scout ahead and see if you can't guide Storm to us faster!" She couldn't respond in any of her morphs but she followed orders and took off.
The crowd of mutants left the room, As North saw that magneto had beckon them. He followed the others and joined them as they waited for there debriefing.
Okay, how to not hurt people with electricity? Oh you expect me to answer that? Well tough luck, because I don't know either. I'm lucky that I don't get hurt by it. But how what am I supposed to do? And how? I guess I'll just wait for commands. When he looked around him he saw Gravixx leading the team and was tempted to ask him what he was supposed to do. But he was afraid that he would look like an idiot so he kept his mouth shut.
Lucian watched silently from the observatory panels. He watched the team trying to get away without harming the law enforcement. He noticed one of them seemed to be confused and not asking for instruction. that's gonna be a problem he thought to himself
Gravixx wasn't sure that a wall of fire would hold off that SWAT team for long, if at all. He scanned the street for anything that might help. Leaping into the air he was suddenly weightless. He wasn't flying, just jumping like he was on the moon. He spotted a giant semi over on the next block.
He landed quickly and ordered, "Fire Bolt, hurry to the next block and get that semi over here. Don't be afraid to ram these guys down, their suits should protect them as long as you don't go overboard.
(Just for the sake of saving time, I'm just going to post this and the next post anyone in the brotherhood makes can just be their entrance into the school, first impressions and everything. And then as soon as everyone is done with their simulation training then all the characters can start to meet up and start drama and all that good stuff.)
Magneto quickly told everyone what the plan was, it really wasn't complicated at all. You go and pretend you need help, gather information. The hardest part would be acting like they're really on the same side as everyone else. The fact that they were a little bit older than high school age wouldn't be a problem, there were plenty of people that age around the school. Erik knew that Charles would never turn away someone in need. This would be simple, lasting only a few weeks, and the information will be invaluable.
Aaron nodded at Gravixx and ran towards the giant semi. But when these people got in his way he didn't know what to do. So he just shoot electricity at them. Not long enough to burn them but long enough to knock them over. When he almost got by the giant semi he looked around himself. This might work. He raised his hand and the giant semi did move towards his directions. Even if it wasn't that much it was still visible. I guess I have to work on that.
Fray still looking out at the confused group from the safety of the observatory notices someone has entered the room. She turns to Lucian coffee cup still in hand. "Hello, you come late to the party as well?"
**************************************************************************************************************************************
Kamala walks into the school, she is dressed in casual red net sari/saree and has her long black hair down over her shoulders. She peaks around "Hello is anyone there?" her voice waivers a little. This place is so huge she thought knowing that professor X- can read minds she will only think as this version of herself would.
Please come in child, this way a disembodied voice said resonating in her mind
She follows the voice and enter into the headmasters room she was face to face with Charles Xavier. She trembles this man is so powerful she thought. Charles chuckles at this and smiles "Please sit," Kamala sits not wanting to be rude. "My dear" he begins, he talks about the school and its mission and then asks her, "why are you here today?"
Kamala knew not to lie "I'm here for information," she says looking Charles directly in the eye. Charles eyebrows raised he is intrigued "what kind of information?"
"I want to know about your training and educational programs for college students, I want to know how the X-men work and how they treat new members, because most of all professor, I wanna know if I can fit in here and do good as a X-men" her voice trembles and short off at the end. Charles looks at her and smiles "you seem to have apt control of your powers Kamala, you are welcome to stay and lean as much as you want. If you would like some of the other students are in the observatory downstairs take the elevator its three doors down on the left"
"How did you know........ ohhhh mind reading" she smiles "Thank you professor, I am looking forward to learning a lot." She gets up bows once and turns out of the room seeing other new prospective students outside. She tuns left and takes the elevator down to the observatory. I can't believe it I'm really here.
A solitary bird flew through the air, only it was much bigger than the rest. It's wings flapped heavily, but gracefully, attracting much attention as it zipped by all kinds of people. Eventually the X-Men school came into view, causing the bird to nosedive into the yard in front.
The bird abruptly turned downwards, making it's rider's, Tali, stomach turn. Right before the point of impact, the bird straightened it's flight path and slowed as it reared back, the flapping of it's wings rustling the grass. Tali clumsily dismounted her ride, willing it to melt back to a puddle, reabsorbing the metal after. It had been some time since one of the girls had gone in (Kamala), Tali tried to spread out the time she would enter to reduce any kind of suspicion...then again she had no idea how many mutants came here daily. A weird feeling spread through her mind, a voice, directing her throughout the school's halls ad eventually to a desk, a man she recognized as Xavier. His smile was warming, welcome, and trusting. Tali returned the smile, feeling only a twinge of guilt about her real intentions but immediately squashed the thoughts.
She took a seat, hands placed on her knees, fingers curling around her knee, gripping her knees hard enough so that her knuckles turned white...Xavier took no notice.
The man want on about the school's purpose and then they went to personal inquiries, mostly about Tali.
"Um...I-I was shunned by the humans...and I just w-want to show them the good mutants do."
Partly true.
Then she had to showcase her powers to Xavier, manipulating the mercury inside her, fortunately this impressed the man, who let her stay and told her that he could visit some other mutants that were doing some kind of simulation. Bowing her head, Tali took her leave, a little too hastily, that had to be where Kamala was going and she needed to find someone on her side as she got acclimated to hanging around her enemies.
Eve made her way to the school a good while after Tali had left. In hindsight, it probably would have been smarter to spread everyone's arrivals out over a series of days instead of hours, but it was too late for Eve to worry about that now. As she walked through the front doors Eve put on a red lether jacket, covering her wings. She found her way to professor Xavier's office quickly and went through what she was sure was the same process everyone else that came to this school went through. He said something about going and watching some kind of simulation training if Eve wanted to, but she respectfully declined. Instead she wanted to just walk around the school, learn the lay out, there would be plenty of time to meet and learn about the other mutants later.
