It's2042, and finally, the Extraterrestrials of Mars have invaded the planet of Earth. We had been monitoringthem with Stealth Satellites for decades, since around 2017, when we first came into contact with them. We've been trading with them, but since 2034, they have been getting more and more hostile.
The Invasion began with a skirmish between a British trading spacecraft and a Alien battleship. The British space craft accidentally fired a torpedo into the side of the Alien Battleship, resulting in retaliation. The battleship utterly destroyed the British trade ship, and the Extraterrestrials of Mars declared War on Earth. They sent a fleet of a thousand battleships toward the right side of Earth. Every UFO-Destroying Anti-Air weapon on Earth was set up on the Great Wall of Western China, and we waited, our guns aimed toward the sky, which had enhanced telescopes on the side and had incredible range, and we waited for the Fleet. Suddenly, a huge plasma bomb was sent down right in the middle of China.
The soldiers on the Wall that were manning the AA guns saw it, we all did. Saw the entire continent of Asia just....collapse. Screams filled ears, fire filled eyes, and the smell of smoke filled noses. We all watched in Horror, until I, Commander Kurt Henderson, screamed on the top of my lungs. "FIRE!!!"
The soldiers snapped into action. We sent our missiles into the air, the battleships sent their missiles into the Earth. The shootout was quick and brutal. Soon, the entire China Wall was crushed. China was...No, the entire Earth was alight in a fire that scraped at the skies. And those skies were occupied by the enormous, hellish Extraterrestrial Battleships. I scrambled to my feet.
"Commander! Commander, it's me, Lt. Phillips!" A name cried out. He pulled me out of the rubbage, and pulled me to my feet. "They're sending down drop ships! They intend to settle and occupy Earth, not destroy it! Their landing all over Earth and killing anyone they see, as well as sending Battleships into our Mesosphere to provide support for their ground troops. We need to get to the Asia XCOM HQ and send out the Interceptors, dispatch our Battalions!" So, he dragged me to my feet. "Star! Star!" Yelled a voice. It was the code that friendlies used to identify each other in the U.S. Military. "Star!" Yelled Phillips. "Phillips, s'that you?" The voice asked, approaching. "Colonel Sandra!" He yelled. "That's not all" said a male voice from behind the Colonel. "Bradford! You survived!" I yelled. He was the Second-In-Command. "Yeah. We need to get the fuck out of here, their sending drop ships down all around us" Bradford said. "Here, get ready." He handed me a N-Tech Assault Rifle, and everyone else loaded their's. "We need to fight our way to XCOM Asia HQ. There will be Resistence, so be ready for anything. Shoot anything that moves, and if it screams in a Extraterrestrial sounding voice, shoot it again. Let's move, team!" I yelled, and we began to sweep through the destroyed continent of Asia toward XCOM Base.

- (So, one character will be Lt. Phillips, one will be Col. Sandra, one will be Commandant Bradford, and I will be Commander Henderson. If we have insufficient people, all unoccupied roles will be controlled by me. If we have a surplus of people, all others will be XCOM Soldiers we come across during our sweep. Things will change once XCOM Asia HQ is reached.)
