Literature Writers, what genre would you publish in?

Published or unpublished, writers tend to stick to one or two genres that they're really passionate about. For myself, I love writing children's short stories, and medieval fantasy. Occasionally I also dabble in writing old westerns. I've never published any novels, but I one day want to publish the children's stories I've written. Not entirely sure if I should illustrate them and publish them as individual picture books, or if I should compile all of the stories and release one large book. I used to love books containing many short stories the most, but I feel like children of today wouldn't have the attention span for it haha

What genres would you publish in if you could?

I'm thinking sci-fi, fantasy, and medieval. I don't know, I've been writing stuff that's not just one set genre. Whatever comes to mind, I put it down. Most of all I would just love to see some of my stuff published. That would be awesome.

Fantasy speaks to me best, its the language my mind works best in. Though I don't write a lot in it these days, it's what makes me happy.
