One Thousand Club
Hi there!
So as the title suggests, I'm looking for a partner to write 1x1's with. I had some plot cravings recently, but before I get to the plots here is some information about me and what I look for in a 1x1 partner:
Partner Criteria:
-Be 21 or older-- Nothing against younger folks, just a personal preference.
-Be able to write at least 3 paragraphs per response with proper grammar (I'm a huge advocate for quality over quantity, but I'd like some meat to the response.)
-Be able to play the male main character (I’ve struggled with putting this because I hate the recruiting threads that stubbornly state I WILL be playing the female. However, I'm really looking to play female since I have been forced into writing as the male in all of my rps recently). I can be convinced to write as the male character, but I promise if you come to me willing to write the male lead, I’d be 100 times more excited to plot with you.
-I am LGBTQ+ friendly, but this round of plots/pairings are mxf, generally.
-Communication is key (let me know if you're losing interest, not going to be around for a bit, etc.)
-Effort (I want the plot to be a collaboration, add some plot twists of your own. I love drama)
-RP over PMs. I don’t have discord.
-Be a friend, I want to get to know you too! Though, I’ll mirror your comfort with OOC chat.
A little bit about me:
I’m a 29 year old female (she/her). I work full time so don't expect responses from me during the day, though I may be able to crank a response out over my lunch break. However, with that being said, I can still usually get 3-5 posts in per week (sometimes more if I'm having a lazy weekend). I will always try and keep you posted about my absences. I typically write between 4-7 paragraphs in my responses. I love drama, plot twists, and romance. I am open to playing more than one character of any gender (I’m just looking for my main character to be female).
Without further ado, I'll get to the plot ideas I have. I'm flexible when it comes to the plots so please feel free to propose changes or add any ideas you may have. We can also combine plots, etc. I want this to be collaborative so please give your input!
Plots:
Pairings:
-Professor x Student
-Nerd x Popular
-Broadway actress/actor x stage crew
Fandom Pairings:
Harry Potter:
Preferably OCxOC. However, would also entertain canons. (I would prefer this take place in an AU where Hogwarts is like a university and characters are 18+)
Disney (Inspired): [Realistic/Modern Day plots]
Meg x OC
Meg X Hercules
Belle x Beast
OCxOC
Hopefully something here caught your eye! I am open to hearing your ideas as well, so if you think we'd be good partners feel free to share your ideas. If you're interested send me a PM and I'd be happy to get to know you more!

Plots:
Character A and Character B had a summer fling. They thought that they were never going to see each other again. At the end of summer Character B and their family have to move. On the first day of classes, A sees a ghost from summer's past. The new student that people are mumbling about is in fact B. Will the summer fling rekindle? Or will the flame remained extinguished along with the summer heat? (This is college aged. Can also be a work setting so characters are older also)
Character A is the popular bad boy a small private college. He doesn't follow the rules and loves to throw a good party. Character B is a new transfer student who is rarely seen around campus, unless she is in class. This new student doesn't attends parties and overall tends to keep to herself. The reason she keeps to herself and isn't participating in the normal college life? She doesn't have a choice, she's the President's daughter. Luckily for her though, many college students don't keep up with politics and don't connect her face to being the president's daughter. However, one night she makes an appearance at a party after receiving a drunk call from her best friend who is sworn to secrecy, asking for a ride home after drinking too much. B shows up and tries to retrieve her intoxicated friend before being noticed by anyone at the party. Her plan fails and she accidentally knocks into A, causing his drink to fly along with the sparks. (Could also be President of the country instead of the university)
Several years ago, Character A moved away from their quiet hometown to explore life in a busy city, only to discover that it’s not as great as they’d once hoped. Looking for comfort and a break from the hustle and bustle, A travels back to the place they grew up in with the intention of staying only for a few days. As Character A crosses the town limits, they recall one of their favorite childhood places to hang out - a small field out by an abandoned farmhouse that had an old tree with a wooden swing. Taking a chance, A drives out there, pleasantly surprised to see the tree and swing still there. A remembers how they used to meet Character B at this swing after school when they were kids. B was A’s first everything. They grew apart just before A decided to move away and then they completely lost touch. Unbeknownst to A, B still comes to this spot to reminisce about the good, old days. When A takes a seat on the old swing, relaxing in the gentle breeze, the familiar, but aged, voice of B catches their attention. B could also be in a new relationship if you wanted added drama.
Character A is a single parent. They work hard to support their child, their world. Character A works as a waiter/tress full time trying to provide for the two of them, barely making ends meet. Meanwhile, Character B is a wealthy businessperson and is also a single parent. Though B is more of the parent who leaves their parenting up to the staff. It's not that they meant to put their parenting responsibilities off on their staff, but work just took up more and more of their time and it just became a habit. The relationship between B and their child is straining. One day B makes their way into A's place of employment and is seated at her table. Will sparks fly? Will A help repair B's relationship with their child?
Character A is a single parent. They are raising their child(ren) the best they can while maintaining a full-time job, a home, food, etc. One day they have a meeting with Character B, their child's teacher. There is some spark between the pair. Is the spark hatred because B is criticizing A's parenting style, maybe B appreciates A's involvement, or is it something more?
