grrr
My sister only liked him after he became hot. My mom liked him more after he became hot. I guess it's a lesson to people, that even fat uglies can become beautiful, but I don't see why fat uglies can't be loved in the first place. He was a beautiful angel to me from the beginning.
Yes, I love the underappreciated characters. My angels.
They're the best aren't they?
Especially the ones who recieve fandom backlash like my precious avatar, Chidori, and she only got it because she wasn't special like Noriko, who was a bitch who should have just let everybody go.
And I had a movie crush on Neville since I watched the first movie
My nine year old self really had a good eye just look at him now.
I always felt like the dynamic between Snape and Harry was really weird. Like, I know that Harry was literally the result of the person he Hated the most and the person he Loved the most, I just wish there had been more of a confliction in his attitude towards Harry. He only ever showed Harry contempt, and I just don't feel like there was ever a time that he looked at Harry and just for a brief moment saw Lilly and did something kind and unexpected.
I feel like there should have been something that happened, before the last book, where Harry said, "Hey, maybe Snape isn't who we think he is." Instead he was always the one they though was evil first, always the one that tried to bust them and get them kicked out.
His interactions with Harry aside, I really like the Sacrifice that he displayed. Voldemort was very good at getting people over to his side, and Snape was just another Disenfranchised wizard who clung to his ideals, and then realized the errors of his ways when Lilly was targeted, tried to backpedal, failed, and then lost her forever. He spent the rest of his life trying to make up for that. His role in The Order of the Phoenix was admirable, and in the end he agreed to kill his friend and mentor in order to SAVE THE SOUL of a student, someone who in reality didn't deserve to be spared. Someone who for the last 6 years of his life enjoyed making other student's lives miserable.
He was a tortured soul and I really like a character that sacrifices everything for the greater good, and through this sacrifice redeems themselves. I'm a sucker for that, but he was a petty dick to a child for nothing the child had done, and for that he himself proves he's got the mentality of a child, and for that I'd have to say, I just sort of stumbled on this conversation about snape, I don't know who I'm supposed to decide if I am going to marry them or not, I just have strong, conflicted feelings about Snape. Carry on.
[[Please note, it's been a while since I've read the series, and if I missed something that invalidates everything I just said, just know..ooops]]
Honestly, I don't know
Maybe I just have a natural dislike for him or something but I really hate Snape.
In my opinion lots of shit wouldn't have happened if he kept his trap shut and not told Boldy avbout the prophecy.
