My character will probably be a battle mage.
Question. Due to her having a tome, it will be a bit hard to list each and every spell she might have. How would you suggest i do the abilities part? Should i do a rundown on elements she has in her tome or list her future favorite spells? My character will probably be a battle mage.
I dont think its impossible. There´s medieval fighting clubs, that use full iron armor and steel weapons. At least where i live. Also, for the players: Your experience can't be higher than 6 since you're not used to actual irl fighting.
Idea They're something like a mix of a boxer and a monk, they're also somewhat tanky.
Yes, but in this world, they'll have to fight in order to not be killed unlike on Earth. Meaning that they would need to react and act faster than normal.I dont think its impossible. There´s medieval fighting clubs, that use full iron armor and steel weapons. At least where i live.
Not that my character would have such experience.
Blackrose7 I was doubting between the striker and battle mage which look something like this:
The Fluffiest Floof Since she needs her tome most of the time due to not remembering all the spells, she would need it with her at all times. However with a shortcut, she could use a spell to immediately look for the words in her tome.
Idea Mine will probably be 28 or something.
Oh, I misunderstood. Hmmm, maybe just use the most important ones that she knows now and maybe one or two that she's still learning?Yeah, i know, that wasnt the point. On the cs, how do i list her abilities? Or are magic spells not meant to be listed there? Was it more like a "Skill" thing?
I will try to list those she will memorize as her "favorites" and have her look up all others. And if, during the rp, i ever create a spell for her you dont like, tell me OOC and i will edit. I think that might be the best approach.Oh, I misunderstood. Hmmm, maybe just use the most important ones that she knows now and maybe one or two that she's still learning?
I feel like number 3 might run a bit too much risk from the "nostalgia factor", so proably better not, and considering our GM wanted something monk-esque, maybe the gun mage would be good?I have a few characters in mind, and I'm feeling a bit indecisive as to who I should pick. My characters are as follows (and the class terms I will be using are from the link that Blackrose7 posted):
1. A Dwarf character who's a hybrid of Engineer/Gun Mage.
2. A Beast character (in the sense of what is described below the "Monk" section of the link).
3. A Knight character that I can best describe as a combination of Dark/Monster Knight, in that he's a lycanthrope-esque knight with ties to dark powers. He's a character that I did the most work with when I first starting RPing, on other sites.
