Worlds Collide ♥ Reality & Fantasy!

It seems that Xavier's going to be missing a cultural festival. I wonder what I should have him do then.
 
Just read the update. Joshua might try out for a spot acting the "The Nutcracker."


He's not a very good actor, but he wants to try it out, so this ought to be amusing.
 
Seeing as how Xavier will be by himself until characters start playing the game, I'll be creating another character for real life interaction.

Worlds Collide Relations!


Alright, being that the school day and/or work days are nearing their end, I think this is a good time to discuss Worlds Collide Relations. You know, things like guilds, titles, and basic who-knows-who details. Now, Worlds Collide isn't exactly a new game in the markets, but it isn't exactly super old, so anything could be happening. It's been here for a long enough time for some guilds to be forming and quite a few boss battles to have already been fought, so there's a high chance our characters already know each other. However, there are plenty of people who may enjoy being a solo-player, only interacting with others when an event calls for it (boss battles, raids, annual game events, etc).


I know Tsukaiza mentioned bringing back a guild familiar to me and a couple others in this RP - Unorthodox. We can discuss who knows about it, who's in it, and who's not. I know Su (Masumi's character) is friendly and may know some of you, but she's mainly a solo player. Rei (Reina's character) is more of a social battler - maybe she can be apart of a guild and have some relations. She's quite the blacksmith, so you guys may have heard of her. I think I made her only make her own weapons, but perhaps I can have her own a store or something. The same with Nao (Naomi's character); she's a skilled tailor - perhaps you guys have heard of her. Su is simply an Apothecary and Cook - so, she may be known for helping someone out with a potion/buff here and there, but she mainly helps herself or someone she's been in a party with before.


If you guys want to discuss like, maybe our characters have been in a party together before in the past or anything like that - now's the time, so we can know who-knows-who.

Oh, I'm going to be posting an update about all this once it's settled. If the characters from my last update that were close to getting booted don't respond, then I will kick them from the RP within the next update. (Those who have posted don't have to worry about that.) I'll also strike out the names of people who did post once before, but haven't posted again, marking them close to getting kicked. Just giving y'all a heads up!

Okay, so before I start writing, I need to know the stats of the polar bear. Health points, defense, types of attacks, etc. etc..

Um... I don't think we've said exactly where. But there'll be an announcement on the notification board when you enter about the polar bear and where it is, and the Unorthodox has a Guild Hall in every city, and in the Guild Hall there'll be a notification board that'll tell you where we're gathering. Spirit and Selera (Soren and Alara) are already there, and are waiting for the others.
 
Alright, I'm going to propose a time skip. I'll make up some weird reason that school's letting out - perhaps one of the floats caught fire at the high school and they're sending everyone home as they repair the damage. That way, we'll have plenty of time in Worlds Collide. I'm sure you all are anxious to get going in there. c: ♥ As for college, it can let out after lunch. Not all people have classes all day - there are some days where one may have no classes at all. x) The benefits of college! xD

Hello, I'm new here, in fact I'm new to this whole role-playing thing, and I wish to join this RP. I see that you are accepting males only, but I must ask, what if someone plays as the opposite gender? For example, a male plays as a female, or vice-versa. Also, do I PM my character sheet to you or something ? (Haven't made it yet, just asking first.)
 
-claps- I suppose I should talk about my plans for Valien in the upcoming event run. He will be acting as an Artillery support, his barrage will begin after the main party establishes hate on the target. Though, he will not present himself to the main party. As I am in a little bit of hope that he can just be one of those random surprise aids that go poof afterwards.


Edit: As well, I plan on his mana reserves running out around half to a third health remaining. (This includes using Abraxas's mana as an additional reserve.)


Edit again: So do feel free to post about the random barrage ending around one of those two points in time. Even if I do not manage to squeeze a post before you ^^.


I do ask that no one interacts with him, nor the crimson haired girl currently with him for the time being xP. Because that would just be awesome ^^. (At least until the polar bear is killed xP)


Though feel free to interact with Kuniri and Kurai. Kuniri I placed around the train simply because it is funny how many people are gathering there currently.

Excuse me, I know I haven't been accepted yet, but I've made up the skills and spells (well, really, I based it off another game.) for my character, Tatsumi Hikari aka Luna Akame, and I will now await your approval of these following skills (as well as the approval of my own character). They're still pretty rough, so forgive me on any mistakes and unbalances. As a Witch, she (just calling it a "she", because we're talking about his online self) mainly focuses on debuffs, but she also has other, albeit limited, spells, and even her only fully-offensive spells inflict debuffs.

  • Duk Lei: Inflicts Poison on an enemy.
  • Suvi Lei: Inflicts Paralyze on an enemy. Bosses may have high resistance or immunity, and players are immune.
  • Dek Do.: Inflicts Slow on enemy.
  • Miu Lei: Inflicts Charm on an enemy. Bosses have high resistance or immunity. Players are immune.
  • Ranki Lei: Inflicts Confusion on an enemy. Bosses have high resistance or immunity. Players are immune
  • Dek Corv, Dek Vorv and Dek Torv: Decreases an enemy's physical attack, defense, or accuracy, respectively, Lasts for 20 seconds in PvP, and 30 seconds in PvE.
  • Dek Corma, Dek Vorma and Dek Torma: Same as the above, except it's magical attack, defense, or accuracy rather than physical.
  • Ul Repth: Her only support spell. Restores 25% of Max HP.
  • Vak Don: Casts a ball of fire. Range of 10 meters within caster. Inflicts Burn on the enemy, If used directly after an ice spell such as Rue Rom, and addition 20% of damage occurs.
  • Rue Rom: AoE Ice Spell, All enemies damaged will be inflicted with Slow.
  • Tel Tierem: Teleports caster to the nearest town, and if already in town, to the nearest town other than that one. Can only be used once an hour. Best used in emergencies, as it drains the caster of all it's remaining energy. Can only transport one player, and that is the caster.


Well, I need to learn how to use tabs, don't I? Anyways, almost all of these are based of the spells in the .hack// franchise, except that last one which I made up.


As you can see, many of the status effects do different things if the opponent is a monster or a player. This is mostly for balance, since monsters and players are two very different things. I also made bosses have high resistance to many of these, maybe even immune! Again, balance. Actually, most bosses would most likely have resistances to all negative status effects, but the ones mentioned are especially high.


Please tell me if these are accepted and if not, what I should do to balance them out.

I. Am. SOOO-HOOO-HOOO sorry, guys!!


I've been a bit busy these past couple weeks with school, exams, family stuff - you guys get the jiff, right?


However, I shouldn't be too held up for a while now. I'd like to keep things going and pick it all up! I'm going to review the thread, though I honestly can't respond until a couple others do. Those people include @LannaRae , who plays Yui, and @L u n a , who plays two characters, though the one in particular is Yuuko. Both are interacting with Masumi, and I can't really respond with her until I have something, you know? Plus, I don't want to just move on and ignore you guys, not giving you the chance to respond.


However, about that time skip. Since things have been pretty uneventful lately, I could just post and skip everyone to their residences - apartment, house, where ever - and have them log into the game so we can get things started. If everyone is alright with that, I'll have my characters do it, and everyone else in school or where-ever should do the same. That being so, I'm going to wait until I have a majority vote to do all this.


Oh! Also, being that I've accepted a few new characters, I'm going to post an update about all of them. You know, what I did before - with the occupations, jobs, and whatnot - and I'll also be listing those who are at risk of getting kicked from this RP, as well.


I'll try to have that up ASAP! Again, I'm sorry, you guys. Thanks for being so patient with me! <3

The serendipitous resurrection of this RP has finally occurred! For realsies this time! Thank goodness. I was beginning to worry.
