Words of the Land

You and a group of other people were chosen for an adventure in another dimension, another realm. Being summoned by a group of elder wizards who thought that you could help save their world from the evil that was lurking in the darkest corners of the world Tianneron. Teleported into the kingdom Atrana, within the walls of the King’s castle, you’ll witness a lot of different species around you who were chosen to join you on this adventure. The strongest gathered for one purpose only: victory. Almost like in one of those RP games that you had been playing for such a long time. This world was similar but had it’s distinct features which were yet to be explored.

The King only had one thing he asked of you which was to save this world from the claws of Lord Girardus who wanted world domination with his wicked creatures summoned from the underworld. Of course, the King wouldn’t force you into this as you would be putting your very own life at stake, willingly to send those back who didn’t want to participate in this task to kill Lord Girardus and his legion.

Who are you? You are a gamer or one of the inhabitants of Tianneron. If you chose to be a gamer [most slots] you will have knowledge about RPG and how it works, your class will be decided in the king’s palace where you’ll be brought into a spacious room with several equipment hanging on the walls. There can be two of the same kind but variety is recommended. You’ll learn about this world as you go through the story, you’ll even be able to make up some parts if your ideas are fitting.

Chapter 1: The Beginning

”Descenecto Agoictum. Descenecto Agoictum…” The chanting echoed throughout the spacious room. Only a handful of sorcerers gathered, chanting an ancient spell that would summon warriors from another world. People that could save the world Tianneron from Lord Girardus’ claws. The dark wizard craving to rule this world by himself, drowning the people in eternal darkness, enslaved by his demonic creatures whose behaviour was worse than that of the worst criminals in existence. Horrifying deeds were done, many lost their lives, even more lost their homes. All scattering to places where they thought evil couldn’t reach for the time being, hiding from those bloodthirsty eyes, letting fear seep into even the bravest of hearts.

Now it was calm as land got robbed from the Kings’ hands, not being able to even lay a finger on those who ruled these creatures. Knowing very well that they could only do one thing only: summon the bravest of hearts, strongest in souls, doing what was right. They knew that the inhabitants of this world were shocked by the earlier wars which destroyed many lives and even minds. Only three of them rose up to deal with the task in front of them, to protect those who needed to be protected. Yet they couldn’t do it alone, not with the small number of three. Therefore the Kings came to a conclusion: call for help from another realm [Earth]. The wisest of sorcerers assembled at the Royal Palace of Atrana as there the connection with the universe was best. The King watching on from his throne as people started to appear one by one, all with the same confused state of mind, some even believing that this was just a dream.

Letting them take in the new sights, hoping that they would calm down after a while. The advisor whispering into the King’s ear, giving his opinion on who would be a nice fit with the current ‘protectors’. The King however didn’t judge merely on appearance but by action. Once the chattering seemed to become more silent, Vito stood up from his seat and let his voice bellow, making every word sound and clear.

”Welcome Earthians to the planet Tianneron. You have been chosen to become one of the protectors of this world. We have been terrorized with plague-like monsters, invading our territory however they please, therefore we called upon you for your help. Many of us have been defeated, many have fled, many succumbed to the power of this evil. We can’t go on like this for any longer. What I’m asking from you now is if you’re willing to fight for us which is more than I could ever ask for, but there is no other way. There will be many threats and there will be moments that you would even risk your life as you go through this quest. However I am not forcing you into this and you have the choice to go back home to your planet at any time. But if you do decide to accept this request of mine, you shall be rewarded greatly. Receiving what is in our power and eternal fame in this world. You will be guided by the strongest of warriors: Kirron Blackforge, engineer and gun mage. Celes Altissima, healer and mage. Keoni Kanekalau, striker. If you want to leave, please turn to the sorcerers, holding the crystal balls who will return you to your rightful place.” The King said, his tone of voice strong as he wanted to appear so in front of all these people, hoping to gain somewhat of authority from them.

Keoni Kanekalau

Black, red hair tied into a high, loose pony tail stood against the wall with crossed arms. Skin a bit tanned which made his features come out even better. Eyeing each and every person who got summoned by the sorcerers. Every single one having their distinct features. Some scared, some confused, some even angry, others were excited about their new experience. A visible scar running across his eye, leaving it grey and unable to see through. The other a darker colour of brown which stared fiercely towards the crowd. Lips formed into one thin line, void of any emotion as he wasn’t informed about this before. Upon entering the castle and meeting the King, only then the three of them got to know about what was going to happen without any detailed explanation. In short, they were going to babysit newcomers while risking their own lives to protect the Atranans. Marvellous.

Tapping his fingers against his arm as he waited for them to leave which happened as soon as they heard the sentence: “free to go”. Well, they weren’t wrong since he wouldn’t be too happy about risking his life for another country, another world to top it off. Those that would stay were in for an adventure, had their own reasons for doing something like this, greed for money and/or fame or they were just completely nuts. Certainly hoping that it wouldn’t be the last option since they were the most reckless ones and easily caught by evil. Well, he wasn’t an angel either so he couldn’t complain too much about others’ faults.

Emilia had just started up her favorite RPG on her computer, when suddenly, everything turned bright. Then dark. No wait, she just blinked. Still bright. In fact, Emilia could not see anything, due to the sheer brightness of this bright... What was it again? Emilia had no clue at all, but that didn´t make her less confused. The light soon started to fade and Emilia found herself... In a throne room? Dressed like a mage? With Pigtails? Rad. This was like a dream. Just... Emilia pinched herself. Yep. A dream in real life.

After she had had a bit of time to calm herself down, grasp the situation, the person Emilia assumed to be the king started talking. He was very king-y. At least to Emilia. When he was finished, he had explained everything. And it was either the most awesome thing ever, or a prank. Emilia however decided to try her luck anyways. "I will gladly answer this call for assistance. Emilia Maria Victoria Clarke is at your service.", she replied with a bow. She had dreamed of this day in forever. She never liked life on earth anyways. She spent all time she could online. She didnt have to work, her parents were quite wealthy. Therefore, she could use all time in the world to dream of being IN the rpg instead of just playing them.

She looked at the others. Then at the warriors that were supposed to accompany them. She smiled at all of them. She was hyped up, but since she played only fantasy rpgs, online or in a friend group, she knew how to behave at the court of a king. And joyful jumping, as much as she wanted to, was not a good thing to do.

Quinn Ryder

Waking up was strange, it was almost like watching a new T.V, the scene being much clearer and making you realize how dirty your old one was. Quinn had no idea where he was, or how it came to be he was here. All he knew was that he now had muscle. It wasnt as if he was fat before, but he definitely didnt have a toned stomach. He could tell just by the way he sat up, feeling a clutch of tension from the muscle there. His body in its entirety was a bit different, the biggest difference being the small strand of white hair falling in front of his face.

There were others around him as well, seemingly in the same position as him judging by their very concerned faces. He had expected to feel a lot more fear and confusion, but instead a sense of thrill rushed into his bones and bloodstream. He had realized that someone had been talking, their voice booming through the large room that they were in. He had unintentionally ignored most of what it was saying, listening in on the rest of the guys supposedly important speech.

"You may leave if you so please" Well that would be a boring ending. Just getting up and leaving, not even knowing what was going to happen at the end of this story. It reminded Quinn of his video games, the vibe of the whole room matching up with the tutorial stage. When Quinn stood up he was a bit taller than before, it wasnt that noticeable but seeing as he use to have pretty short legs, this was weird.

What Quinn could understand from what little of the speech he heard, was that he was not going to leave. But he did need a bit more understanding of the situation at hand. He was kind of a dumbass to ignore most of the important stuff that was said, but if this was going to follow a cliche RPG story line then he could guess what was going on. A girl stood up a bit of ways in front of him. She seemed just as excited as he was, judging by the facial expression plastered on her face. She said her name, something that Quinn would never remember, and then bowed. Well Quinn wasnt the best in social interactions to people who were in higher authority.

So to avoid any tom-foolery, he decided to stay quiet this time. But that didnt stop him from looking over to the gentleman leaning on the wall near the king. He looked like he had a really deep backstory that was borderline cheesy but would still stay with you seeing as he was the first companion you got in the game and you would refuse to get rid of him because he had grown on you. But HEY. Judging people by how they look is not cool and for all Quinn knew the man could have been a baker and tried to juggle knives.

Celes Altissima
Standing in the throne room, alongside a couple other warriors, the tall lean woman eyed every new guest summoned in. Her hair was black but seemed to near grey at the ends, and her skin was a pale olive. The only distinguishing features the tall woman held was the mask she wore and her vibrant eyes, making her gaze more intense than intended. She held herself high and tried to avoid lingering too long on any specific person.
Most seemed frightened and it would come as no surprise to Celes if this endeavor proved to be fruitless. Though their physiques seemed to be promising, most people didn’t seem like they were used to it themselves. A male and female, each with white hair seemed to be adamant on staying, and less than frightened. Celes felt her lips curve upwards under her mask. Either brave or stupid, she thought to herself, as the girl smiled at her and the others after introducing herself.
Celes glanced at her new companion with black red hair and a vacant pale eye, wondering what he thought about this job. She herself had the utmost respect for the task and recognized as a warrior and healer that her assignment would be difficult, though she hoped that each of these “earthians” understood and took to heart the kings words.
Everyone who remains should understand this is a matter of life and death, correct?” Celes asked, her voice was light and contrasted her serious demeanor. Her eyes went to a few who seemed set on staying. She did not want this mission to devolve into protecting trigger happy brats with little regard. Celes aimed her next question at the first to introduce themselves.
Miss Clarke, are you prepared to lay down your life alongside us?
Celes was aware of how threatening she might sound, but wanted to deter any newcomer who was halfhearted.

Kirron fiddled with his magic weapon as the Earthians were summoned to potentially take on the grand quest ahead. This most unusual device resembled a mahogany wood musket in a number of ways, but bore a small crank at its left side, connected to miniature cogwheels that led backwards to a grey stone disc that was completely flush against the frame, aside from a hemispherical divot that dipped down to reveal a red-orange glowing fire symbol at the top. The weapon's barrel was thinned down, lengthened slightly, and decorated with angular engravings.

His light brown eyes, old and filled with wisdom, surveyed these newcomers. His figure was a great deal shorter than everyone else in the room, and this hardly surprised him. After all, his fellow dwarves were rarely ever seen above ground, aside from the occasional metal and stone traders as well as weapon and armor hawkers.

At the mention of the term "strongest of warriors", Kirron's mouth tilted sideways. Though he wouldn't be one to argue with the King, that sort of description wasn't exactly accurate. Kirron was indeed clever, but not much of a fighter. At the same time, though, he figured the "strongest" bit applied to his intellect.

Kirron looked up after the King had finished speaking. "To say these are trying times would be a monumental understatement." He added rather matter-of-factly. "Before this whole kerfuffle with these dark forces trying to force us into submission, the worst occurrence I had to deal with was keeping salamander eggs from my city's channels, AND! I will have you know that trying to remove them by hand is nigh impossible, unless you just so happen to be equipped with enough heat protection to not only get within mere inches of scorching liquid rock, but to pick these eggs up as well." As Kirron went on his tangent, his tone became gradually more irritated.

Having gone on that diversion, Kirron let himself cool down before clearing his throat to speak to the Earthians. "Ah, I apologize. That was something of a force of habit. At any rate." He adjusted his spectacles, making sure that each of the magnification lenses were properly oiled. "As his Highness has stated, I am Kirron Blackforge, resident inventor of the Dwarven city of Keldir. I look forward to accompanying you lot on this noble quest of ours." Despite how hopeful his words seemed, his expression seemed to have not changed in the slightest.

He next turned his attention toward Celes and then Keoni. "So you two are respectively gifted in magic and physical strength, then? This is quite an excellent pairing, if I may admit. With her spells..." Kirron pointed toward Celes with his weapon-toting hand, "...your melee prowess..." Kirron pointed toward Keoni with the same hand, "...and my long-range capabilities, I would deduce that we have our bases covered as it stands. Though, additional reinforcements, wherever they may stem from, are most certainly welcome. The more the merrier, as they say." It was only then that his expression changed into something of a small smile.

Emilia watched another boy seem glad to have this chance. She herself was hyped. This was the best day ever. And she hadn´t even discovered her abilities yet. She was dressed like a mage, so she probably was one. She couldnt wait to get some equipment and finally witness magic herself. A dream of hers since she was a small kid.

One of the warriors did not seem that convinced however. Adressing Emilia directly, she asked a very scary question, probably expecting to lower the dedication and hype the girl was displaying. If that had been her goal, however, it was not reached. With a fire in her eyes, Emilia nodded. "This is literally my greatest dream come true. If i die here, it will be a happy death. There is nothing that could convince me to turn down an opportunity like this. And not only do i get to fulfill a dream of mine, i also get to help others with it. This is great and i am willing to give anything, even my life, to fulfill the quest that was laid upon me."

She looked to the dwarf. Then to the warrior. Lastly to the healer. Then she looked at the people around her. Looking back at the king she smiled confidently. "I cannot speak for anybody but me. But i am ready to help you in this campaign with all that i might have to offer."

This world harbors all kinds of people. Strong and weak. Brave and fearful. Leaders and followers. Big and small. Tall and short.

Why have we all gathered in this tiny world? What must we do with our small lives? Many wise men have searched their entire lives for the answer to this question. Philosophers argued and kings waged wars over them. Why are we all here, what unites us above all else? Well, it is but a simple, pure, innate desire to every soul living or otherwise: Porn.

Yes, porn alone unites all the nations in the world! Rich and poor, strong and weak, we are all equal before porn! Follow the porn and you'll follow the money. And I, like a Godsend, I, Iori Onna, am one that brings this magnificent gift to the world! Like the great rivers flow with precious water, like the magestic beasts and beautiful plants deliver onto us meals with their sacrifice, like the air whose breath gives life and whose wrath takes it away, I too through my efforts create and deliver on the needs of all. Some vile people will tell you to look away, to be ashamed, but I tell you, look! See how the vines perfectly wrap around her tighs? Do you see the contrast with the loli's innocence? Do you see- Well, you get the picture. The point is, there is no need to worry, for porn is a way of life, the natural way to live!

Or at least so I tell the people paying me. Really, people are just looking for an excuse to indulge in whatever they want. If I give them what satisfies their indulgence, and a good enough excuse, they'll give me the money in the blink of an eye. All I had to do was come up with that decent and only slightly different excuse every time.

"It's not like it's that easy though." I complained, as I threw my arms back. Just one more day. Tomorrow would simultaneously be the most dreaded and most awaited day of the month for me. The company I worked for, Inukamitech corp, was a huge ass name in a lot of industries and with good reason, they knew how to play they're clients and they're employees alike. The day we had to deliver our reports on our activity was the paycheck day. If you didn't show up with a proper report that day, you get a paycut. A harsh world I wished I had thought twice before entering. Still, my low-effort manga sold, and that's all they cared about. The issue was getting blocks, and the lack of sleep really wasn't helping. I just couldn't think of how to draw this latest chick. Sure, I had a few details in mind: Long, flowing white hair and purple eyes. Some kind of pin on the hair. Moderate breast size, slightly short, a general cute and fancy outline and pose. Slightly pointed ears that make her seem kind of like an elf, but not enough to confirm it. But what kind of attire? What kind of...

attire...

Thus, I dozed off.

When I opened my eyes and stretched my hands, I was first confused that they didn't hit a lamp like what usually happened when I dozed off at work. The haziness wouldn't quite leave me, even as I pushed myself off. Ah, I had probably skipped a meal or two again, didn't I? I felt so weak compared to my usual. Not that I was all that strong to begin with, my days off fighting were long gone.

"Still, where am I? What's going on here?" Hm? Something felt off. I couldn't quite put my finger on what though. Maybe it was just my imagination? As I finished gloving off my eyes and had some ability to see what was around me again, I noticed several people in strange attires all over the floor, many of whom were standing or just beggining to stand like I was. Most of them looked baffled, others excited, and I was just standing there wondering when on Earth I recovered a social life. Nah, it was probably just some weird pitch meeting or something. Still, it was oddly elaborate. There were a lot of people on seats on striking "cool" poses near the walls dressed in obvious cosplay gear. The walls were clean but very old-looking like they were made during the medieval ages but someone added some kind of polish to make them look more fantasy-esque. Plus there was a lot of gold and silver and very old-looking frutinure like the walls, truly a royal palace fantasy setting. I took a hand to my chin, grinning. If this was one of my manga, there would probably some scene right now where a heroic soul would stand out as the king proclaimed they were summoned to defeat some major evil or something, but whoops, better not mention that to the promising kid who took all this effort for the pitch meeting, otherwise they might not want to try anymore because of how cliche the set-

Then the king began his speech. It was like he was following a scrip, but all the cosplayers were taking it so seriously. Were they paid actors? What kind of- wait. No, no, no, no, no. I had been taken to another world? Was I supposed to defeat some demon lord or evil wizard or whatever? No, no way! I couldn't do it, I wouldn't put myself at risk for no reason!

This development is just way too cliché, it can't be happening!" I found myself commenting, and my hands immediately got thrown around my mouth. Did I just say that? It was me, right? Not someone else who somehow anticipated my words? I had to make sure. "Hello, hello, this is Iori speaking."

Why did my voice sound like a girl's?!

I rushed to the nearest mirror or polished metal, a guard's shiny armor, pratically smacking my nose into it in the hurry. The guard was naturally worried and drew his weapon.

"Eep!" I fell to the ground, frightened. That was...that was a real blade wasn't it? So it was true? I really had been taken to a fantasy world! But worst of all, what I saw in that reflection, was a girl wih long flowing white hair, purple eyes and a moderate dress, slightly fancy in her slenderness, but still cute. In other words, it wasn't me. I wasn't me. I was a grown man drawing girls like these in "special" circumstances for a living, who had once beat down dozens of people and even today grew a totally manly poorly shaved beard. I hated pink, and only used purple cause it sold. I ate so little I barely had a belly much less breasts. And yet, that reflection imposed this on me. I felt my voice escaping. I was screaming internally after all, so it was a little hard to do it on the outside too.

I was doomed: Even if I came back to my world as the King suggested, what was I gonna do if I came back looking like this? This girl didn't really exist, she would have no papers, no food, no home! I would be even worse, and I would have to end up selling my body and do this and that and all kinds of despicable things.

"No, absolutely... not! I...I won't ...allow it! I... need to.... make.... sure..." I took a moment to stop panting and catch my breath. Then I grabbed my chest , and immediately dropped it to my waist because I realize that's something an anime girl would do before confronting someone, and walked towards the king, approaching carefully so as to not trigger any more violent reactions from the already suspicious guards.

"K-king! Erm...y-your majesty! This, this must be a mistake! I have no ability to speak of, plus this body, it isn't even my own... If I get sent back, will my real body please get restored?" I requested, careful to not make my tone too loud. If the guys here found out what happened to me, I'd be the laughing stock for the rest of my life whether I stayed in this world or returned to mine. Still, as well as I tried to hide it, my legs were undeniably shaking for a keen eye.

I REALLY hoped I could get out of this predicament!

Quinn Ryder

Risk his life? Well, Quinn must have missed that part, but that didn't mean he would turn back and run. It was either dying in a place like this or dying as a loner in a small apartment. So he could only assume that fighting for something cool would be much more fun. One of the young ladies who had just awoken seemed to say something before getting startled. Her quick action to finding something reflective was fascinating, reminding Quinn that he should most likely do the same. But he felt as if starting a scene now was not the best. New appearances would come later. There were bigger things at hand.

The other girl who seemed much more thrilled about this situation was holding herself pretty well. "I cannot speak for anybody but me. But i am ready to help you in this campaign with all that i might have to offer." She was ready for the worst of the worst it seemed, though she might not know what the worst means. But he wasn't going to just outright say it. He needed to make an impression that wasn't completely idiotic.

"Id have to say that i'm willing to give it my all as well." Quinn held himself strong, straightening his shoulders to seem more sure of himself. Just to be sure they heard him, Quinn walked a bit forward to the two, Making sure not to seem to desperate for involvement. Being the odd one out was never fun and now he had a second chance at his social life, he was going to grasp it with both hands. He had always wanted to be someone people could rely on, so why not try and be that now. "You can call me Quinn, it will be a pleasure to work with you." Though he doubted they could see his face under the hood, he gave a small smile none the less.

School, Kendo, Jogging, Violin, Video games, and repeat. That was mostly Naomi's life before the summoning had happened. It was extremely boring but what else could she have done when Earth itself is a boring place to be.
Naomi was playing a mmorpg on her laptop, because not only did she finish her homework. But Naomi went jogging around the neighborhood with her friends again. "Take this and that, you noob." said Naomi.
She was doing pvp in the game, and her character was beating up her opponents pretty easily. "Nice try, but you can't beat my lv. 250 paladin." said Naomi.
Eventually, Naomi stop playing the game, so she went downstairs to get an apple to eat.
This however was a big mistake since the summoning happened once she did that.

As she looked around the throne room with a confused look on her face, Naomi looked at herself to see her new outfit and her big boobs. 'Oh god. I got big boobs now, but at least the outfit that I wearing is cute.' thought Naomi.
She was then about to say what is going on until the king appeared and said something.
The king explained everything to them, and Naomi got excited by this. 'Holy shit! We get to be real heroes? This will be awesome, and I always wanted to use a katana for something.' thought Naomi.
Now Naomi knew that this world was like a video game, since she had a feeling that this was the tutorial stage cliche. "I wouldn't mind dying, because this place is awesome. Also, when are we going to use magic or awesome physical attacks?" said Naomi.

While Naomi was asking one of the warriors about that question, she did noticed that a girl was talking to the king about something. 'Seriously?! They want to leave from a magical place like this? I need to go talk to them as soon as they are done.' thought Naomi.
She doesn't know that Iori was going to leave her by herself, since he looks like a girl now.

Celes Altissima
Before Celes could get a response from the first girl she spoke to, Kirron, the wise elder dwarf spoke up to the group about the damage done by the dark force. Though on a tangent, his point definitely came across. Celes modded solemnly in agreement. The forests which she came from have been burned down with a lot of her family and she hadn’t had the chance to see her home land before the destruction. Most Dryads die along with their forests, but lucky for Celes, she is only half. It took being addressed directly by the elder Dwarf to snap back into reality. The man knew both warriors skill sets and brought up a good point.
I do agree that we are a well rounded team, however there is strength in numbers and the unpredictability which lies with these um.. Earthians.” She said, with a smile only showing behind her mask by the scrunching of her eyes. Turning her attention back to the girl she was questioning and the boy who stood by, she took a moment to thoroughly assess their attributes. The boy seemed strong, built well but lean for combat and definitely had an air of magic to him. The girl with pigtails was almost certainly a mage. Both showed some potential. She spoke to the overly eager girl first.
There is no happy death, but should you be willing to lay down all you have for our cause, I will do the same to protect you, miss Clarke.” Celes replied, giving the girl a curt bow. She then looked to the man, whose approach was much more tactful and planned than the first person. He introduced himself and Celes gave him the same respectful dip of her head.
It’s a pleasure, Mr Quinn. I am Celes Altissima. I have heard that those from Earth might not be so acquainted with magic and cam at so I am here to assist.” Celes’ vibrant eyes caught a small girl who seemed quite frightened of her own reflection and a girl with long black hair who seemed a little too happy to be whisked away. The short haired woman chose not to question it yet.

And anyone else who wants to jump on board

As Kirron heard what Emilia and Naomi had said, he shook his head. It was apparent to him that these two weren't afraid of death, but their attitudes toward it were a quite... carefree, if that was the correct word. /Death,/ Kirron thought, /is not something that should be tread upon so lightly. These 'Earthians' are most queer, indeed. However, I can see they have a courageous spirit nonetheless. I can and will overlook that nonchalance towards death of theirs, provided it does not prove to be a nuisance./

Kirron pulled down two lenses over his left eye so that he had a much closer look at Emilia, Quinn, and Naomi. "Well, your hearts are in the right place, for sure. Determination is a wonderful trait to have, but..." He furrowed his brow. "...do keep in mind that too much of it leads to recklessness, in much the same way that too much perseverance leads to stubbornness. Put simply, foolish is the builder who manages to create a city entirely on his own, but dies of exhaustion in the process. Still, better than..." He rolled his eyes at Iori, who was presently having an absolute freak-out over her current position. /If she can be convinced to change her mind, that one will need to be shaped, like fine stone./

Now that the Earthians had introduced themselves, Kirron began inspecting them in more detail. A mage, a hooded rogue of some sort, and an armored swordswoman. Like the group Kirron was a part of, the Earthians appeared to be quite varied in their talents. "So, you are Emilia, Quinn, and...?" Naomi seemed to have forgotten to mention her name due to what Kirron assumed was over-excitement and eagerness, and so he raised an eyebrow with expectation. "Unless his Highness has something special planned for you, you should understand this - skills like magic, melee fighting, and archery take time and effort to master. In my case, the Keldir architects and I had to spend years studying how to properly design and construct dynamic flow systems for an entire city. Not an easy task, mind you, and a dangerous one at that when you consider that the liquid used is molten rock. Even one slight differential in lava pressure can lead to a break in the entire flow, and if left unchecked for long enough..." Kirron left that thought hanging as he finished his miniature lecture toward Naomi, assuming that the others could fill in the blank for themselves.

Clearing his throat, Kirron said, "I am not a natural fighter by any means, but I am a man, albeit a shorter man, of science. I bring to this questing party, then, a different form of strength - that of the mind, rather than that of the arm or leg. As you are not of this realm, I suppose it would be fair to consider this journey of ours as an opportunity to exchange knowledge and learn from each other along the way - fill in the intellectual gaps between us, if you will. Besides, I plan on testing this device in the field, against more than just those infernal, idiotic, irritating, iridescent...!" Kirron caught himself before his face started to turn red. "I... do need to keep that frustration of mine in check."

Naomi just simply nodded when Kirron got to the Determination part. ‘We know because our history has a lot of people who do that kind of stuff.’ thought Naomi.
Most people on Earth don’t look at our real history on the internet, as it is not interesting to them.

Kirron then said the other people’s name, and Naomi forgot to say her name because of them having magic.
“Oh, I am Naomi Onna. It is nice to meet you, and we know how to power a city without using molten rock.” said Naomi.
Naomi was getting more curious about planet Tianneron, and wanted to know what else they have here.
“So do you guys ride around in a horse, or created a vehicle to ride in? We have a vehicle called a car on Earth, and we ride around in that. Also, we know what archery is, and we have so many fighting styles and weapons.
For me, I know how to do kendo. Kendo is a martial art where we use a bamboo sword to do sparring for fun. We also wear protective armor during that, since we sometimes hit our partner in the face.”
said Naomi.

Not done with what she was saying, Naomi continued to do the exchange knowledge with Kirron. “We also can’t use magic, but we want it to be real on Earth. People wrote a bunch of stories from the chosen ones being summoned by a god to save the world, magic school stories, and so much more. Do you guys have cat girls, and elves are out of the question, because of that girl over there. I am just letting you know that we don’t have elves on Earth.” said Naomi.

King Vito Godwinson

One particular female was excited about all of this, almost immediately agreeing on the whimsical request the King made to these Earthians. He didn’t dislike the enthusiasm but he was afraid that the girl probably didn’t know what was awaiting them. It was not a game where one could come back to life over and over again. The end meant exactly the end, there wasn’t going to be a follow-up or some dramatic comeback that was pretty much near to impossible. This journey will make them sweat, bleed and think about what they would do with their lives from now on. How they wanted to live in the future, the things they wanted to change about themselves for the better. Those were one of the few things that would happen if they did agree on doing this. Smiling fatherly towards the person in question, bowing his head lightly in return. However in the meantime, people were already being send back to their own home.

Before he could even explain the matter at hand, as it was no laughing matter, Celes beat him to it which he greatly appreciated. After all the three inhabitants from Tianneron were strong. It didn’t necessarily mean in physical strength but as well as in mind, in science, at heart, etc. They knew what they were beginning at, they were one of the best he got to know about in such a short amount of time. The dwarf called kirron however seemed to be ticked off once again, which seemed to be in his nature as matter of fact. The King didn’t mind and let the man speak as he wanted as he was one of the eldest present in this room. Even one year older than Vito himself who was 62. Hearing the young woman about this being her dream however made him think otherwise, even for the slightest bit his worries would part for mere interest.

His attention was taken to another girl who was unlike the first one. In a panic, completely confused and maybe even on the borderline of bursting into the tears which he wasn’t too sure about. Rubbing his chin with his fingers, he thought about the reversion once they would go back to Earth. ”Hmmm, there is a possibility of it not returning to it's normal state since summonings can be tricky, even for the wisest of sorcerers. However, if you give us some time, we might come up with a solution to revert the summoning completely but that will take time. Let us say months in order to perfect the spell. Complications turn up all the time so it's difficult to predict when something would go wrong, so I apologize if your body isn't in it's right state right now. But we cannot do more than do our research for the time being.” The King said warmly, unlike his overpowering voice from earlier on before continuing. "However there is another way to restore yourself. If you complete the quest, I did mention that we will give you anything you want so if you want your normal body back, we could use the universal stone to repair anything. But we can only use it then since it requires a great amount of power."

Eyes then shifting towards a young boy who seemed to be accepting the quest as well. Nodding back as he approved of what was happening right now, filling his heart with happiness that people were actually willing to help him out on this. Another woman accepted short after as well.

Keoni Kanekalau

Keoni rolled his eyes at the chaos that came to existence with people leaving rapidly and some stupid enough to stay on this suicide mission. Also, Kirron was heating himself up a bit too much for his own good, thinking that sooner or later the old man would get a heart attack or something similar because of it. It seemed like these four were going to be part of the group for now. Not too big, nor too small. Being able to keep an eye on them like this was for the best as they had less chance to go run off into something dangerous and probably die on the spot as they weren’t used to fighting with their actual fists or magic or whatever they could do. He would get to know about their abilities sooner or later anyway so he didn’t bother asking them about it now. Hell, they probably didn’t even know about it themselves.

The King gestured for him to come closer which he did. ”Show them to the equipment room.” The man said, making Keoni bow in return and looked over the group they had at hand. ”Since this seems to be everybody now, we’ll move on to the next room. Follow me or be left behind.” He said in a loud and clear voice as he really hated to be ignored whenever he did say something that needed to be heard. Adjusting his ponytails with the black ribbon which kept it all together somehow. Giving only a quick glance at the group in general before he started moving already. The black ribbon almost using as a method to guide the people in the right direction as it kept swaying around like a dog’s tail.

Taking the shortest way to the room by walking on the edge of the castle, barriered with stone barricades however so nobody would fall off accidentally. Being silent as usual as he made his way without slowing down even the slightest bit. If they were going to do this, they would need to get used to this kind of pace, especially when they had to be somewhere urgently. Once they reached it, he pushed the double doors open with both hands, revealing a place bathing in natural sunlight. In the middle two gigantic statues of previous kings with their soldiers kneeling before them. It was awfully cliché but it stayed beautiful no matter how many times he would enter.

”Magical items can be found on your right. Physical weapons are on the left. Mechanical weapons and guns are at the back. Do not break anything since I won’t stand in for the consequences.” He said shortly, not wanting to use more words than necessary as it was pretty clear for what they had to do. Looking at his hand as he felt something loose, seeing that his cloth was nearly dropping to the floor. Adjusting it by tightening it up so it wouldn’t budge anymore. ”If you do have questions about what to use, you can always ask us.” He commented, barely loud enough to be heard, but due to the echo it was still pretty clear for everyone.

Emilia watched everything. They didnt understand it. She was not caring if she died. Even that was better than going back to her old life. But they probably couldnt understand. They werent from where she was from. Even though people on earth didnt understand her either.

Then, the next words were music in her ears. She would get to see the equipment room. And that meant, she would get something to actually be a mage, not just look like one. She probably already was one, but she had no idea how to USE magic. But the equipment room would surely have a tome or something that´d help her. And so, still really holding back on bouncing around like a ball of rubber, she followed calmly.

When they reached the room, she was given an explanation what could be found where. She was immediatly at the side for magical items. She spotted a thick, old looking tome and grabbed it. "Neat.", she said and opened the first page. Quickly reading through the first pages, she somewhat understood how to use the spells. If she was a true magic user, she could cast any spell in the book by just saying the name. She did not even need the book for it. Obviously, Emilia wanted to try that out. Opening a random page, she skimmed the spells for one that would not cause any issues, that would not hurt or destroy anything. Maybe a shield or... Then she found it. Perfect. She pointed her finger at the panicky girl and whispered "Gust of wind.", then watching the scene unfold.

"Hahaha.. y-you're joking, right...your ma-magesty? This is a joke, it has to be, but I'm sorry to say it isn't all that funny, I mean here I am minding my own business and suddenly I'm missing something down there, and now if I go home it's going to stay missing, isn't it a bit too much of a prank?" I looked at the king's eyes with a hopeful gaze, or better said, exactly the opposite of a hopeful gaze (a despairing one). The king's eyes were compassionate, kind, but also serious. The eyes reminded me of the gaze my mother used to give me when I came home from a fight and my mother told me not to get into them anymore. My hands dropped to the sides. "I-I see... I guess.... I guess I'll have to stay then. With the kind of scenario this is, there has to be someplace we can figure our occupation, right? Could you point it out to me?"

I headed to the place, whether by being told where by the king or by trying to figure it out myself. One of my arms was being held by the opposing hand as I walked down. While most were too invested in the current developments to even have paid attention, others noticed I went to talk to the king, probably the most important person here, and might be wondering what I wanted even if they didn't hear me well enough to already know. I had the courtesy not to say it in front of the king who probably had a hard enough time already, but this left me with no choice. I had no life to return to if I came back like this. As such, there was truly one thing I could do, and that was stay, get my class and beat the living days out of that demon lord, or at least be present when some other, more capable person did that for me.

"Dammit though." I yawned. "The shock is passing now and I'm getting all sleepy again. Didn't get nearly enough of it yesterday after all. My head is too fuzzy to deal with complicated or tedious processes like scrolling through all the different options. Maybe there is some way to ask directly for something specific? Well, I won't know unless I try."

I asked for a job that would allow me to change into a male, a job that allowed some kind of shapeshifting at least. The person in charge of the whole job selection thing took out a list. Where they about to recite it? Ah crap, I didn't have time for that, too tired! I just took the first one she mentioned, this "dream catcher" class. Appropriate even, ,maybe it was some kind of class that fought in their sleep. if so, maybe some fighting wouldn't be too bad right now. Just kidding.

The guy knight with the edgy half-colored hair announced we should follow him to go get our items. I gave a look at the paper with my class description, it said something about me using mirrors. I wondered if they had such equipment. I followed the knight (eyes looking down, it was somehow way too cute and funny how his ponytail resembled a dog's tail) into this large room, with swords and staffs and maces everywhere, all sorts of weapons. There was a big rush towards the magical weapons of course, those would naturally be more powerful than any regular ones. Even if I went there I alreayd lost the innitiative, so I took to the regular and mechanical weapons first. I didn't want to rely on a gun, even one which was probably medieval fantasy and thus with some kind of auto aim or lower recoil. I didn't know how to aim guns, I could end up hurting myself or others. But, just in case, it might prove useful as a last resort. Plus, it wasn't like my baby sister was here to get hurt even if I missed.

After this I went to grab a knife or two. You adventurers in the isekai worlds with your fancy magical swords and invencible shields, don't underestimate the value of a simple knife! Cooking, skinning, carving, objects like knives took humanity from being simple monkeys to the first stages of civilization, and even in the modern world, many serve as status symbols, but also threaten people in the dark of the night, especially in fishy empty alleyways. I pulled out a set of knives to inspect them and pick while everyone was still busy picking up magical weapns (hopefully I'd be able to get one myself when I got there, maybe a mirror or a mirror staff or some kind to go with my class)...

"Gust of Wind!" A voice commanded nearby. I grinned a little.

"Testing out magic huh? It's like a little kid playing with new tooOOYS! EEEEP!" A strong gale made my legs shake with the tickling and the cold. More importantly, I had a feeling that...Yeah, I knew it, so typical, the wind had taken a perfect aerodynamic leap and instead of going against me, it somehow bent down and then went up again lifting my skirt all the way over my belly. "KYAAH!"

Dropping the knives, I pushed the skirt down and fell to my knees to cover everything for certain. Ah, I should have expected this! Of course if a girl ends up in another world, these kinds of situations are bound to happen! It was probably just an accident, but my heart still felt broken, inch by inch. I scooped around with my eyes, stopping just in time this girl with a tome. It was probably her.

"Did...did you do that?" I inquired.

It was probably her.

As Quinn followed the man he took the time to look around. The hall, room, place was fairly beautiful. It was someplace that he had never thought he'd be, but he was glad he was there. When they had come to the weapon room it was only more impressive. The weapons that littered the racks were that of fairy tails or medieval larp-ing. The blades were stunning and Quinn couldnt help but get a but jittery. When one of the girls ran over to one of the magical books and opened it, he couldnt help but feel like something bad would happen. It was like giving a lit match to a pyromaniac.

As the wind suddenly gushed through the room he had to cover his eyes ever so slightly, before they widened a bit. White was a good color. He turned quickly, coughing into his hand before searching through the blades. There were different types of weapons, from Glaves all the way to crossblades. It was a sight to behold. But he thought it would be better to stick with something he knew how to use. Quinn spotted what he was looking for, two fairly normal looking knives, about the size of a large cooking knife. He picked them up, feeling the weight a bit.

As he was examining it he found small amounts of ice crawling up the spine, reaching down to the blade. He could help but give out a bit of a "Cool" Underneath his breath. He quickly sheathed the two daggers before turning back to the group, who was still excitedly looking around. He wanted to keep looking around too, but felt as if it was a bit childish. They werent in a museum, he had to take this seriously.

Once Kirron had asked for her name, Naomi complied to his delight. "There we go. Sometimes all it takes is a small fraction of coaxing." Then, of course, came the absolute bombardment of questions shortly thereafter. "One at a time, now. One at a time." He replied at first, adjusting his spectacles and flipping the lenses back up. "Now, that first bit goes without saying." Kirron responded to Naomi's statement about powering a city without lava. "The only reason the Keldir dwarves use such a hazardous substance is because it is readily available and has a variety of uses, the most useful of which is providing heat to our grand furnaces and cooking houses, and the simplest two being a sufficient light source and effective waste disposal. I'm well aware that humans use other fuels, like coal and wood, but... it is good to know that even in other realms, there is such a simple similarity."

And so, one by one, Kirron began answering Naomi's inquiries.

"I saw humans riding on horses and in wooden carts on my way here, if that will suffice. Still, a... 'car', was it? Is it self-propelled, by chance? If so, it is fascinating that humans have access to such objects. My people use a variety of mechanisms for transport throughout the city. One method that always makes human jaws drop is our network of gondolas that travel along suspended metal rails. They slide down freely , and travel back up by crawling along the same rails like mechanical spiders. Those are typically used for transporting freshly mined materials, though we tend to get eager-beaver humans that want to just ride around in them like drunken jackaloons. Often times, they are rejected, but for good reason. If a gondola was to break from excessive use, that puts quite the damper on our work."

"Earth has fighting styles and weapons like Tianneron, and then more still? Intriguing. And, 'kendo'? Judging by the name, that sounds like a rather exotic form of combat. Is it rare for humans to fight each other in such a way, for 'fun'? Using swords not made of metal does seem like an interesting premise, and it is fortunate that these users of 'kendo' utilize protection so as not to cause major injuries, or so I would surmise."

Kirron put his hand to his lips once Naomi mentioned the complete absence of magic from Earth. "No magic at all? That certainly seems rather dull. If that is the case, I trust it would be impossible to remedy that situation?" What especially caught the inventor dwarf's attention was what Naomi said next. "Earth has its share of storytellers, as well? I cannot even begin to fathom the sheer volume of tales these scribes from another realm can spin. Oh, if I could, I would read more tomes of it than I could possibly count!" Kirron quickly holstered his weapon on his back as he curled his hands into fists and placed them in front of his chest in a very excited manner, like a giddy child about to receive a new toy, softly chuckling all the while.

This excitement subsided as he examined the next question. "Cat... girls? Well..." Kirron's eyes narrowed slightly in thought as his fists went to his sides. "If you're seeking such creatures, you could always keep an eye out for a grimalkin - a cat that walks on two legs and dresses like a human. Aside from those feline folk, I suppose that, though understandably uncommon, it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility to find humans that have transfigured animal parts onto their bodies through magical means, or perhaps were-cats and similar shapeshifters. Are those acceptable answers?" The utterance of there not being any elves on Earth was almost as jarring as the lack of magic. "If there aren't any elves on Earth, then what DO you have? Simply humans?"

Kirron paused as Keoni led the entire group into the equipment room, as it was called. His eyes beheld a real who's-who of weapons and equipment. The sheer number of items on display was staggering, and far exceeded anything the dwarf had ever seen in any blacksmith or similar equipment shop, even the ones in Keldir. "So that's how his Majesty aims to arm our newfound acquaintances." Kirron's interest was piqued at the mention of the mechanical weapons and guns and, though he already had one, he just HAD to check them out, to examine their quality for himself. He strode over to the back end of the room and put a finger to his lip as he scanned the respective shelves like a critic examining a painting. This did not last long, however, as he heard Iori shriek after being struck by a wind spell. Kirron about-faced in a flash. "What's going on, here? Are we toying with our abilities already?" He walked over to Iori and collected her knives before handing them back to her. "You're not hurt, are you?"

Naomi noticed that she got a little carry away with the questions, so she stops doing that in order for Kirron to answer them. “Sorry about that. I just think your planet is very interesting with all of the unique stuff here. Earth hasn’t found any intelligent life for a very long time, and we think that we are the only intelligent life in the universe. We have been trying to find life by using radio wave signals and our rockets, but we didn’t have any luck with that.” said Naomi.
“A car is self-propelled, but people have been trying to get them to become automatic. The reason for that is that people do get distracted on their phones, or they end up falling asleep by driving them for a very long time. We even invented airplanes, trains, and ships to travel around the world. They also invent rockets and submarines, since we wanted to explore space and our oceans.”
Naomi stopped for a moment, as she realized that some of them would have been holding their phones before the summoning. “Ok. Who still have their phones here, because I am pretty sure that some of us were using them before.” said Naomi. “I also want to show Kirron what a phone looks like as well.”

After saying that, Naomi continue on with answering Kirron’s questions. “Nobody uses Kendo to fight each other now, because they make that into a sport with the protection gear I mention before. The protection gear is there to not cause major injuries on anybody.
Kendo was also used to kill people in my country but as time went on. People created more fancy and powerful weapons in order to kill their enemies.”
said Naomi.
“Guns is one of the weapons that we use in our army, and there is one country that loves to use their guns. They love their guns so much that they sometimes need to use them in order to kill innocent kids at school or kill people for a stupid reason. Even their police officers have them, and they do get away with murder if a person has dark skin.”

Naomi stopped smiling when Kirron said that Earth is dull, because she agrees with him on that part. “Earth is very boring, but because we don’t have any magic. We are extremely good with making technology, and we do have storytellers, musicians, and artists on Earth,” said Naomi. “Hell, even our religions have stories, because we don’t know if god exists here. Some people said that god exists, and others said that god doesn’t exist. We have never met god, and yet we keep fighting over that. It’s mostly passive aggressive, but in some places on Earth. It gets very serious. So serious that if you don’t believe in their religion, they will kill you in the name of god.”
And then came to the cat girls part, and Naomi was happy with that answer. “Yes. That is an acceptable answer, and we actually call them nekomimis and not cat girls on Earth. I just said cat girls so you would know what I am talking about, and I love cats. Also, humans are the only intelligent species that can talk on Earth, but we do have normal animals. We have cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, foxes, and etc, but none of them can talk or think for themselves like us humans.” said Naomi. “Speaking about animals, some people can tame a wild animal with no magic. We already tamed wolves, and they end up becoming dogs from that.”

Once Naomi was done answering the questions, she noticed that Keoni led everybody into the equipment room, so Naomi just followed Kirron. When she got there, Naomi looked at all of the beautiful weapons and equipment. “Wow. You guys make awesome weapons, and… you have a KATANA!” said Naomi.
Naomi walked to the left to see the physical weapons, and she loved the fine details on the katana. “We have katanas on Earth, but this. This is a beautiful masterpiece,” said Naomi, who was holding the katana with awe.
As she would check out the magical items next, Naomi was surprised when someone was struck by a wind spell. “Holy shit! Someone used real magic here, and are they alright?” said Naomi.

As I dropped to my knees on the ground I was suddenly greeted by an alarmed or perhaps angry voice asking whether people were playing around with magic already and whether I was hurt. I look straight at them with teary eyes. The words wouldn't escape my lips, I didn't want to end up insulting anyone, but still...

<Of course I am hurt! I'm utterly heart broken! My manly pride needs medical care, right now!>

I couldn't utter my thoughts so lightly though. I didn't want to call even more attention to myself than I had to and making enemies when I was this lost was one of the worst things I could do. I closed my eyes and took a deep gulp of air. The shaking was yet to stop even as I begun attempting to stand up, using one hand to hold the skirt down behind me in case I accidentally bent over or something. Such a thing would be very typical of the kind scenario I had been thrust into. I took the daggers the ...short person... was handing me back.

"Ah, ah,ah, d-don't worry. I'm ju-just fi-fine. That, it just, uhm, it was a bit surprising that's all...tehe." I gave the dwarf a smile, but much like the "tehe" I doubted it was fooling anyone. "Anyway, I should go grab a magic weapon, a mirror staff or some-"

I thought I heard a familiar voice, but my brain just wouldn't process it before. Now though, I could see it with my own two eyes. My hand hesitantly oved up, a finger raised at the person in a rather traditional japanese outfit and wielding a katana to match.

"NAOMI?! What are you DOING here?" I shouted. Without thinking I headed straight to her, feet stomping like a pair of mops with iron handles that the janitor isn't quite strong enough to lift for more than a second. I gulped as I reached her, now realizing I'd suddenly become far shorter than my baby sister. "N-Naomi.... th-this is a prank right? S-some kind of shapeshifter turning into random forms, this is a big coincidence isn't it. Yeah, it must be, there's no way she'd be getting involved in all this, that would just be way too much, it can't be true, none of this can be... can it?"

Kirron could tell that Iori was bluffing, and so he cocked his head. "If you're certain..." He said rather slowly in suspicion. This suspicion was quickly broken as the secretly-guy-turned-girl hurried over to Naomi. "Oh, you two know each other. That makes things a bit simpler when it comes to communication, I would surmise."

After doing that small favor for Iori, Kirron resumed the intellectual discussion with Naomi, and just like the first time, it was an absolute shower of words. This time, however, he elected to shorten his responses by pooling them together. "So Earth has quite the variety of transportation options. And... traveling to the stars above? Pardon me one moment..." Kirron whipped a leather-bound notebook and a crude pen out of his pack. "Invent... a way... to travel... beyond... the sky." He murmured to himself before resuming the conversation. "Oh," Kirron said to Naomi as he looked up. "Don't mind me, I'm simply making notes of everything we've discussed thus far."

"A... 'phone'? What, pray tell, is the purpose of such an object?"

As he continued to comment on what Naomi was saying, he continued to furiously scribble notes in the book. "It doesn't surprise me that there would be lands that are more militant than others. It's an axiom that all leaders of all nations must realize, after all. That reminds me of something unfortunate I've heard many tales of - lycanthropes being slain like... well... dogs. There are a number of fundamental differences between them and werewolves, but it is evident that because these two share such basic similarities that the more, shall we say, sane ones, are hardly given a chance to blend into polite society without facing a knife to the jugular. On Earth, I suppose the same could be said about those 'police officers' slaying other humans simply because their skin colors do not match. It is a shame, since I have indeed heard of lycanthropes being noble protectors in some isolated cases."

At Naomi's mention of gods and religion, Kirron replied, "Well, this land certainly does have its fair share of gods and goddesses. Go anywhere, to any town or city, however remote, and you will find even the most basic, simple shrine for offerings to a deity. But, I did observe how you said 'God', as in just one. Is there one god of everything on Earth, then? If there is, then why would humans fight over religion if there's but one deity to choose from? That sounds utterly preposterous. What, you interpreted a certain line from a holy tome the wrong way, and so a rival nation is going to behead everyone in your own land? Pah, utter bunkum."

"I am most certainly glad you did use that terminology, for I would be lost if you continued to refer to these feline creatures as 'nekomimi'. Either way, cats are indeed wonderful creatures. I don't like dogs - much too noisy and disruptive. Foxes, however, are an exception. Why, I've even heard of some foxes that speak. What did this one human call them... it was something like... 'kitty sun'? I am honestly unsure. Getting back to the conversation at hand, you can be certain a majority of those creatures you listed exist here as well, except... hamsters? That sounds like a pork dish you would feed to a small child, and not an animal. However, you are the current expert on Earth and its many features, so... very well. I haven't a choice but to take your word for it."

Kirron watched as Naomi positively beamed with joy over the katana. "You really do like those types of swords, hmm? The simple notion that you already know what it is, is a most promising sign indeed. Perhaps you know how to properly use it, already?" He kept his notebook out in case Naomi had any more information to share, though frankly she had shared enough for now. It wasn't so much that he didn't want to hear more, but he thought it best that she save more topics to discuss for later, in order to perhaps make any mandatory journeys less boring.

Naomi was happy when the girl said she was alright. 'I am glad that they didn't get hurt here.' thought Naomi.
Once that situation with the elf girl was over, she was going to continue her conversation with Kirron. However, Naomi was interrupted when the elf girl said why she was doing here. "Um...I actually don't know who this elf girl is, Kirron. We don't have elves on Earth, and I have a brother, not a sister." said Naomi.

She then turns her head towards the elf girl, so she can answer her silly questions. “Were you not paying attention to what the king was saying? I was summoned to save their planet like you,” said Naomi.
And then came the part that Naomi has no clue what the elf girl was even talking about here. “...Why do you think that this is a prank, and why would a shapeshifter turn into me anyway? It would be more fun to shapeshift into the king or somebody in the castle.”
Naomi has a point, because it is not fun to shapeshift into someone you don’t know.
‘Who is this elf girl? I have never met her in my life, and here she is calling out my name when I didn’t tell her what my name is, to begin with. Speaking about that, how does she know my name?’ thought Naomi.
Turning her focus back to Kirron, she was going to answer his questions, but Kirron was writing something down in his notebook. “Oh, I don’t mind if you do that, Kirron. This is very interesting, and who wouldn’t want to do that,” said Naomi.
“Our planet is blue from space, and please don’t make a rocket ship that is a circle. We like to call them a ufo, and if anybody sees that on Earth. People will panic, because they will think that it is a hostile alien who is trying to invade our planet. I would recommend putting something to make the rocket ship invisible in order to avoid that problem.”

Naomi said that in order to protect Tianneron from Earth. She doesn’t want them to know that magic is real, since the people of Earth will try to abuse it in a bunch of different ways. ‘Earth shouldn’t be allowed to have magic, because of how hostile they are towards each other.' thought Naomi.
“A phone is a small electronic device that can be used to call someone from the other side of your planet. It fits in your hand, and we swipe the screen with our finger to use a bunch of different apps. Some of the apps are games, some are for entertainment, and etc. The internet app is the most useful one, since you can search for anything you want to know by pushing the letters on a keyboard button.” said Naomi.

They moved on to the police part, and she was sad when she heard how the lycanthropes and werewolves are treated badly too. ‘I feel bad for the sane ones, because they deserve so much more than that.’ thought Naomi.
Naomi would have petted the sane lycanthropes and werewolves, as they are like sweet puppies who want respect here.
“It is kinda like that, but our police officers are supposed to protect us from the criminals. There are few bad cops who are racist idiots towards people of dark skin, and nobody does anything about their horrible behavior towards them. There are also a few cases where a police officer kills an innocent person, and some of them are kids who did nothing wrong.” said Naomi. “Also, everybody loves to make stories about lycanthropes and werewolves on Earth, because they are awesome to us. Do you have vampires, as we do make stories about them too. Some of the stories on Earth involve with vampires and werewolves fighting each other.”

Next was the god part, and Naomi was interested when they said that they have more than one god here.
“Yes. It is one god now, but we used to have a bunch of different gods like you guys in the past. That belief ended when Christianity was created, and then people followed the one god beliefs by making a god in their own image.
They put god in their so called holy books, and some religions even gave god a different name so it would fit well with their belief stories.
The problem came in when they force people to believe in their religion in order to be saved from a god that we never met. Because that god is threatening us with hell for the sins we don’t know we did wrong here. And then there is picking a religion problem, since all of them keep saying that they are the true religion, and the other religions are fake, even though they are the same god with a different name, personality, and rules.
People just have a religion, because they are afraid to die. They don’t know what will happen to them in the afterlife, so they did that as a way to not be punished by god for not knowing about them.”
said Naomi. “And then there are people like me who think that religion is ridiculous. We think that religion is just a tool to control people’s fear of dying by putting them on a guilt trip.”

Last but not least was the cat girls part, and Naomi smiled when Kirron said that he likes cats too. “Well, there are people that likes cats and dogs on Earth, and they managed to get both of them to get along with each other in their house,” said Naomi.
The kitsune part did surprise her, for she wasn’t expecting them to be on Tianneron. “You mean kitsune, and I know that they can turn in a human with fox ears and tail,” said Naomi.
She wants to pet them too, as they are adorable. “Hamsters are animals on Earth, and think of them as a chubby mouse to make it simple for you,” said Naomi.

Naomi was still holding the katana when Kirron started to talk about that. “Of course, I like katanas. My country: Japan created them as one of the weapons the samurais used for battle. Samurais were the military nobility and officer caste in Japan’s past, and there were no female samurais during that time.” said Naomi. “I did say that I did Kendo here, Kirron, so I know how to use it already. It is just that I never had to use it to kill someone with it, and I forgot to mention that the outfit I am wearing right now is a japanese outfit.”

Mistakes were made.
I found myself rather reliefed at the fact the dwarf didn't choose to persue his inquiry. Truth be told, I probably wouldn't have known what to say. Even if I was the one writing the whole situation in one of my mangas, it would probably take me time to think about the right thing to say, but to have to answer right away while being in the situation myself, that was just, I just wouldn't know how to handle it! My heart was still beating fast, it felt like I would up and collapse at any moment!

What really wasn't helping my stress was the fact that right before me, with a bit of a change of hair, clothes and chest, was my own dear little sister, thrown into this insane situation as well. Her naivete was unimaginable. She was giddily standing there were a pair of very sharp-looking katanas and her happiest smile plastered on her face, like those times we went to the waterpark and she had that same grin as she went on the car or prepared to splash on the water and all those things. On top of that, she seemed really confused about me talking to her, not to mention rather delusional, treating the king's commands matter-of-factly and even flat out rejecting my perfectly logical assumption that she was obviously a random shapeshifter that happened to coicidentally shapeshift into my little sister and adopt her voice and mannerisms. I mean, she had to be, right? Right? She had to...

Else, she... wait, she said she had a brother, not a sister?

Suddenly a certain dwarf's (who happened to be present as well) words echoed in my head.

Oh, you two know each other. That makes things a bit simpler when it comes to communication, I would surmise.

Knowing?! Ah, crap I forgot! My hands flew to my head, and I found myself bending down in a panic. How could I be so stupid? I could feel it even now, that silvery long hair, the two extra weights on my chest, the extra room down there, plus the sound of my voice and clothes I was wearing! If my sister found out I was a girl now, and dressed like this no less, she'd think I was some kind of perv for sure! I mean, she wouldn't be 100% wrong, but that's besides the point! Giving myself away like this would be absolutely unforgivable! But I didn't want to keep my distance from her though... I needed to find a good excuse...

I straightened my posture, realizing then that while I was like that, the conversation had moved on without me, and Naomi was rambling on about all kinds of matters. The number of well-intended people with a little crush on my little sister who showed up to ask me permission only to drop out of the "race" after a five minute conversation with her was staggering. As the memories of it came back to me little by little, I couldn't help but have my hand slowly raised up above myt head in a sideways angle and shoot downwards towards the back of her skull hitting with a karate chop.

"How many times do I have to tell you to keep your ranting to our house only!" I yelled angrily, before realizing I just messed up again. I quickly tracked back a few steps raising my hands in front of me as if to cover my face. "Or erm...so I ...so I heard. F-from your brother. I'm hum...I'm just one of your classmates from another class, who happens to be into his manga."

Hopefully this would be enough to ease her suspicions, if she had any.

Kirron said nothing in response to Naomi's denial of knowing the elf in some form, and simply adjusted his spectacles.

It was when the conversation was steered back toward the discussion that Kirron broke his ephemeral silence. "Oh, excellent. I'm glad you don't disapprove of my... ahem, plan." After she mentioned a few key suggestions, Kirron noted them down. "Alright, so I must avoid using a circular shape, and find a way to implement a cloaking mechanism. Hmm, that will require outside assistance... no problem." Kirron muttered the second of the two sentences almost incomprehensibly.

Just about everything Naomi said about the functionalities of a phone made Kirron's eyes absolutely widen. "A form of communication that can reach the other side of the world in mere seconds? Why, it would be impossible to be unprepared for war if such a wondrous device existed in Tianneron! Imagine it, allied kingdoms warning each other of attacks days... no... weeks, before they even begin! Then, there's the possibility of an unlimited lexicon of knowledge at a person's fingertips, and... entertainment purposes, as well? What advances Earth has."

Getting back to the more violent of the topics, Kirron said, "Give a man power, and there's always the risk of him abusing it. This, I've come to realize. But, I mustn't dwell on such pessimistic thoughts. On that note, of course there are vampires in this world - reanimated corpses that feed on the blood of the living, no less. A challenge to properly kill, but fortunately Keldir has not, and will not ever, be marred by their presence."

Naomi's discussion of religion was surely deep, and Kirron enjoyed such a detailed explanation of what she was describing. "I see, so that's how it went on Earth. Well, you can be certain that deities exist in Tianneron. There are documented visits from the many gods and goddesses that oversee this world, truly impossible to forge or falsify. In any case, I will respect your stance, for that concerns currently ongoing issues from another world, issues I nor anyone here can hope to rectify."

"Ah, that's the word - 'kitsune'. That human, the one who mentioned that word - he visited Keldir once with a strange fox - it seemed to have multiple tails and a necklace of spherical beads around its neck. When it spoke, it had a high-pitched voice, like that of a small girl. I suppose that was a 'kitsune', then." Naomi's description of a hamster made Kirron think. "A rotund mouse, hmm? i see, I see..."

At last, Naomi name-dropped a country on Earth. "So you are from Japan. Well, it certainly seems as if times have changed in that nation, for you to stand in the boots of the past nobility with a splendid sword in your hands and a proper uniform." When she mentioned how she had never killed someone with a sword, Kirron lowered his book and looked Naomi straight in the eyes - which of course required him to physically look up, admittedly making it a bit less dramatic than he would have wanted. "Well, Naomi. That's very well about to change, isn't it? This group will no doubt be faced with hardships where the only solution will be bloodshed. I trust you are prepared for such situations." Kirron's tone softened somberly as he said that.

It wasn't long before he perked back up, though. "With your permission, I would like to pause this session for now. It isn't so much that I don't find this riveting, but rather... well... I believe it would be best to save this for another time - perhaps during a long stretch of traveling, or when we are clustered around a warm fire." Kirron put his pen and book away as he waited and watched to see how the scene between Naomi and Iori would further play out.

"I wouldn't disapprove of your plan, Kirron. Because seeing space for the first time is amazing if you can figure out how to get out of Tianneron's gravitational pull. I also can't help you on that part, since I don't know how big your planet is." said Naomi.
She honestly hopes that Tianneron isn't like Jupiter, as it would take them a long time to get out of their planet.

Naomi smiled when she heard what Kirron said about the phone. "Yep. A phone is great, and I am pretty sure that you guys can make the screen bigger later on for a different reason. But for now, making a phone for better communication would be a good start for the people of Tianneron." said Naomi.
She was a bit curious if they would make a computer and tv if they start off with making a phone. Because they would like to have a bigger screen to do more things. 'I am pretty sure that the people of Tianneron would do a great job with that, since they do need a good idea to create something from somewhere.' thought Naomi.

The violent topic came back, and so was Naomi's frowning. "We know, but there are some parts on Earth who didn't learn that lesson. Like North Korea for example, they treat their people like trash while their leader has everything. If you try to leave their country, they will kill you, and if you are watching anything from our gun loving and freedom country: The United States of America. They will send you and your whole family to jail. We japanese don't do that to our own people which I am so glad that they don't do that." said Naomi. "Now about the vampires. Have you tried to use holy water, a wooden stake, garlic, or try to burn them to death with the sun? We usually put those as their weaknesses in our stories on Earth, but I don't know if your vampires are immune to the sun here."

When Kirron mentioned that deities exist in Tianneron, Naomi was extremely surprised with that. "Ok. I am so going to ask a god or a goddess a bunch of questions if we meet them on our journey, because I want to know why they haven't appeared on Earth yet." said Naomi.
Not sure if the gods is ignoring Earth, since they want to respect their freewill or not here. Naomi wants to know what they are going to say about this once they finally appear in front of them. 'I wonder what those gods and goddesses will be like, since everybody who was summoned in this group have never met them before.' thought Naomi.

"Did the kitsune have nine tails? If they have nine tails, they are very powerful and wise. Kitsunes can change their gender as well, so I am not surprise if they used a high-pitched voice when talking to you, Kirron." said Naomi.
She wants to pet a cute kitsune as well, as they are a cute talking fox here. 'Need to pet the cute animal people on Tianneron, because they will be so cute to be around with.' thought Naomi.
Even though, she wants to do that to the cute animal people that she meets on their journey. Naomi would give them their personal space if they ask her to stop doing that, for she likes them.

The Japan topic came up, and Naomi was smiling again. "Yep. We did changed a lot, and Japan is a beautiful country to visit. We also respect nature unlike America who don't care about it that much." said Naomi. "We are the only country who can get away with bring up with weird ideas, and our artists can make weird drawings. About the artists in Japan, we have something call Anime and Manga. Anime is a japanese cartoon show while a manga is a japanese comic book."
Naomi wasn't going to talk about Iori's drawings to Kirron, as it would be rude to say that when he isn't here.

Kirron talked about her having to use bloodshed in this situation. But Naomi wanted to know why the leader of the plague-like monsters wants to take over a peaceful planet like this. "I think I am prepared for this situation, but I want to know why the jerk who is using the plague-like monsters is doing this, to begin with. Tianneron seems like a peaceful planet, even with some of its problems. So there is no point of doing a world domination if it will destroy everything." said Naomi.
The world domination plan never works out, as the heroes always beat up the villain in the end.

Once the questions were done, Kirron asked her if they can pause the knowledge session. "Ok, and I told you a lot about Earth anyway." said Naomi. She was happy about getting a pause, but that smile faded away when the elf girl hit her with a karate chop. "...WHY DID YOU HIT ME?!" said Naomi.
Naomi cried for a few minutes until she noticed what the elf girl have said to her. "Ranting in our house? I didn't see you at my house, because I would have seen and heard a pretty girl like you talking to my brother: Iori in his room." said Naomi.
This made Naomi more suspicious of this elf girl. "If you are into Iori's manga then you probably know that it is ecchi right."
Despite not stopping the suspicious on the elf girl, Naomi knew her brother: Iori very well by sneaking into his room to look at his drawings.
