Armor Enhancement: Twin Shoulder "Osiris Turrets" The turrets hide away into his armor's shoulders when not in use. They are deadly accurate and fire continuous beams of deadly thermal energy. Both turrets fire independently of Alex and each other, essentially making it possible for Alex to fight three targets at once.

Twin VibroRevolvers, Ra and Set

. These pistols fire high caliber armor piercing rounds with extreme accuracy. The blades on the end of the guns are able to cut through enemies like warm butter. Anubis is able to strike very quickly with these blades and tends to get in close during fights to better utilize his close combat skills.


Current Position on the Leaderboard: lower middle on the leaderboard, Alex really wants to prove to everyone that his close combat fighting style that relies on quick punches and rapid shots is viable and strong.


Personality: Has a lot to prove. Sensitive to criticism but tries to learn from them. He tries to be friendly and respectful to his teammates. Aspires to reach the higher ranks of the leaderboard. Prefers to work alone on missions and will never deny a challenge to a duel. Has a strong code of honor and believes that fighting for a cause is the most noble thing a human can do.


Fighting Strengths: Quick on his feet and a top tier close quarters fighter Anubis is a master martial artist. His turrets help cover him when he gets ambushed or if he is fighting too many foes at once. One of the best hand to hand fighters in the group (although he doesn't really get respect from the others for such a "useless" skill)


Weaknesses: Sometimes overly confident in his fighting style. Poor long range capabilities. Limited firepower, Anubis is better suited for taking out infantry targets and assassination missions.

Armor Enhancement:
Leo has a significant increase in the area of hearing and dexterity/agility. His enhanced skills in those areas have earned him his name, and he certainly lives up to it. He can hear anything within a unreasonable distance, though this caused problems with this as a child. Through his growth, he has developed a mental way to funnel the sounds, and now unconsciously has the filter active in his everyday life. But as for combat with his hearing, there are many perks to it. His ability makes it so he can locate enemies after closing his eyes for a moment, and perfectly time the shot, or speedily locate and dispatch and enemy. His dexterity truly shines with his ability to wield his throwing knives, which he also uses in close to semi-medium distance. His agility comes into play in escapes, rushing to a teammate, or just maneuverability, whether to an enemy in a stealthy way, or just to reach the target.

Good for medium to long range engagements, this is a semi-auto rifle, which functions best for Audio with his silencer equipped. A decent damage output, magazine size of 12, and quick reload are all what make this weapon what it is.

Alright, sounds good. Jut reading everyone elses posts to find a good spot to start off. Question....can there be a tree thats secluded from the others for my character? Not directly for him, but more as just to make his own secluded area.
 
It's a military base in an undisclosed location, there is no outside available for them. If you wish for him to be secluded he could be in his room?
 
Just a side comment, i kinda think we need to get a layout in overview, as gathering where all the areas are is confusing. Though it needs to be editable, so we can add areas as the base develops. Keep in mind that this is a suggestion.

The most advanced and alien enhancement of them all, what this enhancement allows Maxis to do is full control over his and his weapon's particles, as in, full control over their very existence. He is able to turn into a low density form, so low that he can pass through objects and people, and density so high he can cause massive damage with as little as a small punch. He is able to change his armor's form, repair it, and do the same for his weapons, in which he summons on the fly from his Armor's extra particle storage. He can travel at high speeds using his fading ability.


He may also create a clone of himself, just for shits and giggles. This clone is fully sentient and shares conciousness with him.


This basically makes Maxis the ultimate infiltrator and just flat out annoyiance in combat, as this allows him to disappear at a moments notice and reappear somewhere else for an escape or an attack. This Particle manipulation is also let out on his meele attacks and partially his firearms. Especially his kunais, upon touch, he can disrupt the molecular resistance of other's for a limited time, this can be on both touch, and by phasing through others in his mist like form. And many other particle manipulation related powers.


Every time he uses his particle manipulation powers the golden outlines on his armor will glow brightly for a split second before the effect taking place, in the case of him vanishing in thin air, his disappearance will be signalized by a small light trail around his last position. And when powered up the outlines will glow more brightly than normal. Maxis can degenerate and absorb small object's particles in order to add to his own stored ammount, but there is a small cap on how much he can store. (No more than a 1/3 of his full body mass otherwise he risks causing an overload).


This also allows Maxis to manipulate and customize his armor's colors and weapon's at will, except for the golden outlines. He can change his armor's color whenever he wishes to. And the change is made in at least 3 to 5 seconds.

Particle disruptor Kunais: He calls himself a ninja, and what is a ninja without kunais? These kunais are generated from his particles and can be thrown at enemies at high speeds, they will damage and stick on the enemy upon impact, shortly exploding on impact, this explosion causes the particle disruption effect, effectively weakening armor and flesh, allowing for further damage to be caused by him and his allies's weapons.

Particle generated rifle, has a spin up time, but when fired at full can deliver up to 50 shots a second. Particle generated bullets allows almost limitless supply of ammunition. It does relatively low damage for a rifle, but its main purpose is to cause damage upon reducing their defenses.

The Bo or as nicknamed by Maxis "My overly long golden stick of doom."

To some a polearm, but to those who know about its capabilities, it was made alongside Maxis's armor. Making it just as much a part of his arsenal, as a part of his armor entirely, he cannot change its form, just its colors, but he doesn't need to change it.


It come packed with a shockwave emmiter, which when combined with Maxis's particle manipulation, allows it to cause heavy damage in an area on a ground pound, outside of a ground pound, it packs quite a heavy punch. Able to withstand and block blows from Vanguard's Galatine, and even fusion energy from Destroyer, an enemy thought to be able to melt through almost anything.


Maxis is never seen without it, he may generate his other weapons at will, but not this one, it is always by his side.


Current position in the leaderboard: due to his overly joker-ish nature, he is a the middle of the leaderboard, no one doubts his power, they doubt the user, and if the guy is sane enough to use it effectively.


Personality: Care-free, childish at times, joker. Maxis enjoys pranking his squad-mates as well as just messing with them in a non-hostile way, some may like it, some don't, he doesn't care if the person likes it or not though. He will stop once the prank gets out of hand however, he has some respect for his team. He does not sthrive for greatness, even though he is capable of it, he just wants to have fun and enjoy the ride, even if it means killing aliens and having the constant thread of death around every corner in the war.


However, care should be taken to not piss of Maxis...he is downright menacing when he is pissed, everything he knows of morals and simpathy goes completely on reversal. He will go straight for the throat and try to rip it out per say.


Strenghts and weaknesses:


Maxis has the ability to go toe to toe with even the top positions of the leaderboard, because of his power, he just doesn't do so...because he really doesn't feel like it. He likes to play around when fighting and doing anything really, always joking and being his care-free self as much as possible.


His fighting style allows him flexibility on both ranged and meele combat, albeit he prefers meele because of his "Golden stick of doom." But he can fight at range with his kunais and rifle. And his toolset might be hard to counter, with the particle abilities and all, but they take their toll on him, the more he uses on quicker succession, the slower the effects get, to a point where he takes almost triple the time to dash away or fade, leaving him vulnerable and with no particle left to shield himself, highly increasing damage dealt to him.


He is much more of a glass cannon than you'd think, all he really has is the particle abilities to protect and attack, if one pierces through it, they'l find him very fragile and easy to take down. and depending on the damage dealt, he cannot repair it in time for a followup. Every hit, takes away from his particle storage pool. Which also slows down his abilities. Cloning himself effectively halves his energy pool but allows him to fight as two instead of one, but the clone is even more fragile than he is, capable of being taken out in one hit from almost anything.


If one can pierce through his defenses, and Maxis is too caught up trying to play around instead of fighting, they can gain the upper hand, very quickly.


Extra stuff: NO one has ever seen his real face below the armor, and that is also something the top brass does no wish to explain or even know so too. And the scientists who worked on the armor are...well...gone.


This may end up making him quite suspicious to other members. But Maxis means well, or at least thats what he says.

Armor Enhancement: The V16 Armor that has been specifically designed for Drekker allows him to access his already elevated mental capacity and move objects with his mind, or what is commonly called telekinesis. There is a restraint within the armor that keeps his powers capped, which he is unaware of. He can lift objects with great speed, stop projectiles or launch lift himself for short distances.


Firearm of Choice: LX Bow


The LX bow is both a ranged and melee weapon. The weapon utilizes the psychic/telekinetic energy that Onyx produces and casts it as a projectile. The bow also doubles as a short staff that he wields with precision.

Drekker sits dead in the middle of the Leaderboard. He knows that he could do better, but he's in no rush to get to the top. He likes to cruise.


Personality:Drekker is a class A flirt, reckless, a troublemaker and a joker. He is loves to get under people's skin and loves to point out others flaws. His mouth knows no bounds and it often gets him into trouble. He doesn't quite trust this militia and is constantly thinking of going AWOL. Despite his mischievous ways, he has a heart of gold. He is there when others need him and knows how to build up others if he wishes. Were he more disciplined and focused, he would be a formidable leader.


Fighting Strengths and Weaknesses:


Drekker is a note worthy hand to hand combatant, though not the best. He certainly isn't the worst.


His aim is usually not the greatest, but he often uses his telekinesis to direct his bolts.


He cannot hold more than two objects at once with his telekinesis. ( mostly due to the retraints placed upon him.)


His armor while solid, is not the most durable to allow him he quickness he requires in his movements.


Extra Stuff: He loves to play chess or any sort of strategic game. He is a skilled pilot and loves training exercises that puts him up against others.

The Monster comes...


Name: Derik Jameson Absolon

Armor Appearance: Similarly to that coat, except more harnesses, boosters, and holsters. There is a secondary suit under his main clothing that serves a different function.


Armor Enhancement: Short-range flight when the "Flight Jacket" is on. Increased movement speed when the "Flight Jacket" is taken off, along with an increase in strength, but a lowering of defensive capability.


Firearm of Choice: (as sci fi as you'd like) Dual 50 MM round auto pistols, has 3 sets of rounds, incendiary, electric, and bio weapon, that can be used.


Melee Weapon of Choice: A red crystal energy saber with a rapure blade focus, has the ability to have it's power output adjusted for longer or shorter length at the sacrifice of effective damage or range. Buster sword with electric components inside giving it the ability to release high outputs of electricity into the enemy when struck. The Buster Blade can be detached and converted into a wall shield and the core of the blade comes out to become a bastard sword. He has micro sword "bits", small energy blade producing robots about the size of a larger marble, which are stored in the holsters on the "Flight Jacket"


Current Position on the Leaderboard: Wherever the fuck he is, he doesn't care, he just likes to win. If he's not first place, he doesn't care.


Personality: A very rash, quick to the draw man. He makes decisions quickly, be they right or wrong, and acts on them as soon as possible, making him a deadly fighter, but not the easiest to get along with. Prior to the brain washing, he was far more kind, but in this world, you have to win. Of course, should this brainwashing wear off, he will more than likely go back to more or less normal.


Fighting Strengths and Weaknesses: Derik is a very offensive fighter, loving to taunt his enemies when they do nothing to him with a strike or can't even hit him, not because he enjoy's being a jerk necessarily, but he knows it will get to them. Even if they try and shrug it off, they'll still have it echoing in the back of their head. His Armor is an experimental two-form armor set, the lower set is thinner and boosts physical abilities by a lot. It's far from great from protecting the user as Armor normally would, but the increase in power was necessary: The Flight Jacket, which is mounted over the person's clothes to not alert the enemy to it's existence, gives the user high speed, if only short range, flight abilities, and does the protection of the user it's mounted on, unlike the under suit. But with all the advanced flight tech under the hood and it's woven cloth-like metal design, it is incredibly heavy, without the under skin, it probably would never be able to be moved. Armor Appearance: Similarly to that coat, except more harnesses, boosters, and holsters. There is a secondary suit under his main clothing that serves a different function.


Armor Enhancement: Short-range flight when the "Flight Jacket" is on. Increased movement speed when the "Flight Jacket" is taken off, along with an increase in strength, but a lowering of defensive capability.


Firearm of Choice: (as sci fi as you'd like) Dual 50 MM round auto pistols, has 3 sets of rounds, incendiary, electric, and bio weapon, that can be used.


Melee Weapon of Choice: A red crystal energy saber with a rapure blade focus, has the ability to have it's power output adjusted for longer or shorter length at the sacrifice of effective damage or range. Buster sword with electric components inside giving it the ability to release high outputs of electricity into the enemy when struck. The Buster Blade can be detached and converted into a wall shield and the core of the blade comes out to become a bastard sword. He has micro sword "bits", small energy blade producing robots about the size of a larger marble, which are stored in the holsters on the "Flight Jacket"


Current Position on the Leaderboard: Wherever the fuck he is, he doesn't care, he just likes to win. If he's not first place, he doesn't care.


Personality: A very rash, quick to the draw man. He makes decisions quickly, be they right or wrong, and acts on them as soon as possible, making him a deadly fighter, but not the easiest to get along with. Prior to the brain washing, he was far more kind, but in this world, you have to win. Of course, should this brainwashing wear off, he will more than likely go back to more or less normal.


Fighting Strengths and Weaknesses: Derik is a very offensive fighter, loving to taunt his enemies when they do nothing to him with a strike or can't even hit him, not because he enjoy's being a jerk necessarily, but he knows it will get to them. Even if they try and shrug it off, they'll still have it echoing in the back of their head. His Armor is an experimental two-form armor set, the lower set is thinner and boosts physical abilities by a lot. It's far from great from protecting the user as Armor normally would, but the increase in power was necessary: The Flight Jacket, which is mounted over the person's clothes to not alert the enemy to it's existence, gives the user high speed, if only short range, flight abilities, and does the protection of the user it's mounted on, unlike the under suit. But with all the advanced flight tech under the hood and it's woven cloth-like metal design, it is incredibly heavy, without the under skin, it probably would never be able to be moved. Armor Enhancement: The Seven Dwarves System - A system devised specifically for Snow White, the Seven Dwarves system works on a seven mode system.


The Dwarves are:


Ghost - Optical Camoflague. Works like Halo's. Can be spotted due to not complete invisibility.


Widow - Enhanced focus, but suceptible to flanking due to all attention on one target.


Crusader - Enhanced CINDERELLA'S SONG energy shield by dumping all energy into the shield. Movement reduced and takes time to return movement speed.


Memory - dumps all power into the thrusters, achieving a state where she leaves after images. Due to the speed she cannot use ranged weapons, and they are reduced to quick spurts or she could lose consciousness.


Mercy - Upon activating, she deploys a field of pure medical nanites that work to repair Armor and wounds. These are limited to wounds, not dismemberment, and require materials to repair Armor. Repairs are not perfect and are to seal armor at most.


Seraphim - Activating the Seraphim System dumps all power but thrusters into her current sword, which causes a flaming sword effect, as if she was an avenging angel.


Terminus - If all else fails, Snow White activates the Seventh Dwarf, Terminus. Her suit unlocks all limiters (think the hyperpowered GN Drives in Gundam 00) enhancing all her attributes to the max. All Dwarves can be activated without problem, but Terminus will go rampant within five minutes. If Terminus is not ended within ten minutes, YGGDRASIL will undergo meltdown and detonate, killing everything around it. Radius undetermined. Terminus has such an adverse effect on the body it requires Snow White to input a special code just to activate the voice commands for it. She is forbidden to use it in almost every circumstance known to man.

X-337 WOLF'S BANE Hybrid Weapon System - WOLF'S BANE has full auto, burst fire, and single shot modes with an underslung kinetic launcher and a variable zoom scope.

Secondary Firearm:


X-117 ALICE OF HEARTS Hybrid Handheld Weapon System - ALICE OF HEARTS is a dual pistol weapon system that are the backups to WOLF'S BANE. Developed in tandem, they use the heavy assault shells of the X-337, except are tipped with small explosive charges, making each shot hit like a cannon. They have slow refire, making them good for close range, or only pulling one.

These two can be swapped with weaker laser cartridges that have a cooldown period before firing again, though they take longer to load with such ammo after depletion of ballistics and longer cooldown then reloading.


Tertiary Firearm:


X-136 CINDERELLA'S SONG Combat Shield/Magnetic Accerleration Cannon is a shield with a built in MAC cannon, which has four shots...but it can also use any magnetic metal in reach (aka if a magnet affects it) and use it as a projectile. If she's out of options, it's the last line of defense she has. The Shield portion also has a deployable energy shield that can have all power dumped into it using the CRUSADER system, allowing Snow White to be the wall upon which darkness breaks.


Melee Weapon of Choice: Plasma-Edged Diamondblade "GRAM" - as name implies, it works with or without power, as the entire blade is reinforced with titanium-steel alloy and powered by a small reactor that has a cooling vent in case of overuse.


Current Position on the Leaderboard: A "Ghost" within the leaderboard, Snow White is a force to be reckoned with, and is one of the best...not that she cares what her number is. Those who never fall, have not learned how to get back up. And it is in the act of rising no matter how many falls, that shows your true strength of character.


Personality:


Somewhat stoic and apart, Snow White isn't antisocial more than she just doesn't like talking. A lot of her communication is nonverbal, usually shown through pointing her gun at you, silent observance, or the rare cases of her offering a seat. She's not the best at long conversations, and harbors a fear of losing everything once again.


Fighting Strengths and Weaknesses: Snow White's strength relies in her speed and versatility to most situations, through both her weapons and the Seven Dwarf system. She can adapt to a variety of situations on the fly, from infiltration to area lockdown. The drawback is in the cooldown of each System, as the YGGDRASIL can become overloaded if none of the systems are allowed to wind down with enough time. She also can run out of ammunition, requiring her to either switch to the less powerful laser cartridges, which take time, or rely on melee weapons/hand to hand combat. She also cannot activate more then three Systems back to back, or the Armor kicks in the Preservation Directive and shuts down the Seven Dwarves, leaving her with whatever she has on hand. The PD cannot be turned off unless authorization through the Terminus Rebirth, which to date is never used. Ever.


Extra Stuff?: Snow White is nicknamed the "Valkyrie of Glass" by some of the instructors. She tends to be one of the first to go in to help a fellow trainee, but goes away. They described the way she acted and operated as glass - unseen at one moment, but look at her just right and she'll sparkle.


Has a liking of cookies. Rumored to have once thrown an instructor through a window when they took one.

This leaves her with few offensive options, and with YGGDRASIL being on the lighter side of the Armor spectrum, due to it's flight capabilities, she can't take a hit and must rely on her speed to avoid damage...so if you can hit her, hit her hard, and she'll go down.

Armor Enhancement: Void Walker: The Limbo armor allows Adrian to walk into an alternate dimension so close to our own that he can still be seen but no damage can be dealt or received by someone in the void who is not in the void. With enough energy the Limbo armor can banish allies and enemies into the void and pull them out. As a final move the Limbo armor can rip open a tear into the void that anyone can enter or leave at will.

Current Position on the Leaderboard: towards the higher end.


Personality: Adrian is quite mischievous at times using the power of his armor to pester until it's time to fight. When in a fight Adrian considers it to be a very serious and honorable manner. To be fought on terms agreed to by both parties and absolutely no cheating will be done by him. Fun loving yet reclusive. He feels his armor was crafted for him as he does so enjoy to go into his own little world and forget about the horrors he's witnessed and committed.


Fighting Strengths and Weaknesses: His ability to divide up competitors by banishing them to the void makes him a danger in any group fight especially if someone fights him in a one on one. However because his armor ability is so power it greatly takes Adrian when he uses it so he only uses his ability when there is no alternative to the situation.


if Adrian does use too much of his void ability he could get stuck in the void or someone else could and even if that wasn't a problem using too much power knocks Adrian out cold as his power relies on his physical stamina which makes his likely hood of using his ability lessen as a fight drags on without him being able to rest.
